My husband and I came here on a whim, since we were in the area after attending a funeral. From the experience we had, we were very surprised to find the place kinda slow at 5pm on a Sunday. My husband had the jumbo shrimp plate (and they weren’t kidding about the jumbo part), and I had the catfish. I love supporting my people! The restaurant is small, clean, and nice! I love the decor and the music provided a great vibe! My server was pleasant and took great care of me.I ordered the catfish with greens and the Hennessey yams. The catfish was lightly floured and seasoned to perfection.
