I love eating at "hole in the wall" spots. In fact I will only eat Caribbean food from a place that has no indoor seating- I like authenticity lol. Very generous portion size, probably could feed you twice if you're not greedy like me. The chicken was smoked (the only way I like my j**** & perfectly seasoned. People always have a lot to say about how Caribbean's make Mac & cheese but they couldn't say it about this spot. That Mac was perfectttt! For $10 you can't beat it at all!

Although this place is decidedly unimpressive from the outside, the food is delicious and worth exiting the interstate to experience authentic Caribbean cuisine. The j*** chicken is perfectly spiced and succulent, with a good bark of seasoning on juicy meat that makes it chewy and irresistible. I loved the cinnamon-flavored rice with peas (they looked like red beans to me but I suspect I'm just uncultured), and the service was quick and friendly, especially the cook, who I assume is the owner as well. The portions are huge, so you won't leave hungry. Well, you do have to leave to eat it, though, since there's no dining space available. I'd stop here again, and hope I have the opportunity.

The look of the place both inside is some what off-putting but I was so hungry I needed something that was not fast food. I saw the collards and mac n cheese and passed but got a large j*** with cabbage. All I can say it I needed it. The j*** chicken was moist and had that kick that I like. It was simply delicious.

The worst food I have ever tasted...The Oxtails was tough the collard greens was from a can...the Mac and cheese had canned cheese in it. The serving utensils was kept in unsanitize water all in one container and it was full of food particules...I will never eat there again it was a waste of my money.

So good. The lady was so sweet and I usually encounter very rude people at Jamaican restaurants for some reason. Her chicken Patty's were so good and flavorful. The j*** chicken meal was great portions. Everything was great.

When to Blazin J*** Today the food wasn’t good at all I purchased the curry chicken with peas, & cabbage. The food wasn’t seasoned at all just bland. The meat didn’t even taste like curry chicken at all. Cabbage didn’t have no flavor either. I’m very disappointed
