It was a pleasant Saturday afternoon and as I usually do, I hit the ole Google up for nearby restaurants; gotta keep it fresh by patroning establishments I haven't visited. I saw Sharberry Kitchen on Veterans Memorial Dr with good reviews and enticing pictures.Located in the same plaza as a gas station, it is very cozy with plush seating. I ordered the gyro sandwich with fries and homemade lemonade. My wife got the 6 piece chicken wing combo with french fries and lemonade. The cashier (Sharberry;s son) said mom's was baking a fresh strawberry crumble cake...of course I ordered two slices lol.Food was brought to the table, and Sharberry herself came over and introduced herself. Such a pleasant soul! I learned a bit about the business and her culinary background. Everything (or damn near everything) is made from scratch . When I tell you the lamb meat on my gyro was tender and well seasoned. It was fire. Loved it. Fries were not sidepieces at all. Cooked as a main event with a crisp unmatched and whatever powder they used is quite delicious! Wife's wings were cooked to a solid crisp and tasty (lemon pepper if you're wondering). The strawberry crumble cake was moist, and simply A1. Kudos to this fine establishment. We'll be regulars for sure.

Soulfood Sunday was overall 8 outta 10Oxtails 3 really good size oxtails. Mac and potatoes 10/10. But forgot my dinner muffin.Porkchops were good, greens were the only complaint.Dessert was good too.

Love to order from here, mostly to get things togo. Their Italian Beef is by far the best not only in the area but as far as I'm concerned the city, dipped, with hot peppers is the way to go. Honestly slept on it's so good I have to always order at least two so I can have seconds. It's stuffed with meat and taste wonderful~ Their ribs are fantastic and if they have the smoked turkey pieces have to suggest getting that as well~
Look I just saw this place after going to the gas station forever. Saw the sign and decided to go in. They've been there six years. I'm so very excited that I did. The food is amazing. Great prices. The customer service is excellent. Look I'm from New Orleans and I know good food when I taste it. I would not recommend this place if it wasn't. All I can say is that this is a hidden gem and you won't be disappointed. So if you're in the area or getting gas. I suggest you stop by and try them out. I promise you won't be disappointed.

OMG I went to Sharberry on Saturday and order two Italian Beefs, Double Cheeseburger and a regular Cheese Burger, two Pizza Puffs, Butter Cookies and a Banana pudding pound cake and baby the food was DELICIOUS.
