“I was very excited to try Jang Su Jang! I've heard lots of good things and wanted to eat some authentic Korean Food! We got the 된장찌개 and the 갈비찜. The Soybean Soup did not taste bad, but it was definitely different than what I am used to. I've had it at many different restaurants before, and the taste at Jang Su Jang is very different. Despite this, it was still pretty good, but not what I was hoping for.
The Braised Beef Short Ribs were humongous. We could not finish it, but it was decent. I wasn't really blown away by the taste of the food. However, the service was impeccable and extremely friendly. I would still recommend this place.“

“It was so nice to be able to eat warm bossam.
The side dishes were very delicious, and the bossam tasted even better when I ate it with cold buckwheat noodles. The hot pig's feet sauce is absolutely amazing. This is the best restaurant in Atlanta.“

“It's a neat soup restaurant where you pay at a kiosk and don't have to tip. You pay first and the wait time for your food to come out is not very long. Food allergy information is unclear as there is no separate explanation. I'm eating well.“

“I needed a packed lunch for a group gathering, so I ordered bibimbap. The shape of the vegetables and rice was very neat and I liked it. However, the rice was a little dry and did not mix well, and there were some warm grains when I ate it. Other than these points, I was satisfied with the lunch box.“

“Kukga Topokki serves some great Korean street food. Their Topokki is perfectly chewy with a rich sauce that has a balanced taste of spicy and sweet. The Kimbap is fresh, the fish cake skewers are delicious and the fried snacks are crispy and delicious. The portions are generous, the prices are great. Well worth a visit!“

“If you’re craving soondae, this is the place to go! The prices are a bit on the higher side, but the flavors are worth it. The restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious Korean pork dishes, including samgyeopsal, and everything is cooked to perfection.
One tip: if you visit on a cold day, avoid sitting near the windows as it can get a bit chilly. The seating near the kitchen is much cozier. Highly recommend for authentic Korean cuisine lovers!“

“They're in the same plaza with Teso Life and Sweet Hut. It's not easy to find parking in front of the restaurant but the plaza parking lot is spacious so no need to worry about parking.
We came on the weekend and didn't have to wait to have seats. The place has nice decor with artificial green but being done right so it looks nice and bright. Service is good and fast. The food ingredients and quality are good. However, as for tofu soup, it's not the soft tofu cube that most Korean places serve. The tofu texture is more broken so it threw me off a bit. The texture is like soft fish roe or soft ground meat. They also don't have spicy levels; so if you can't eat spicy food, like me, the tofu soup options get very limited. The bbq rib We had:
- Oyster seaweed tofu soup + BBQ pork combo: both the seaweed and tofu are pretty broken and scattered. The texture doesn't do well with me. The taste is alright.
- Pork BBQ main dish: my boyfriend likes them because they don't have bones like ribs.
- Grilled croaker whole fish: this one is my favorite, slightly salty but the fish was grilled properly, crunchy on the skin and soft tender meat on the inside. You have to be careful eating since the fish is served as a whole with bone in it.
Every table has its own utensil and napkin drawer, which is very convenient and saves both guests and servers the time to ask for more utensils or napkins. Each table has their own hot tea pot and cups too.
Overall, I like the quality of their ingredients and the ambience and cleaness of the restaurant. I'm not a fan of the tofu texture in their tofu soup, and the limited options on non spicy soup. I might come back mostly for the grilled croaker.“

“I do love it here. I am not a breast girl so I was so happy to know that they use dark meat for their boneless chicken. I usually get their honey garlic and original. Of course you gotta try their fried rice with spam and rose ttukbokki. Those are a must.“

“Just went there for first time. Nice indoor dinner, friendly staff and excellent food. I ordered a bowl and it was excellent worth the price. Not sure about the fried chicken. I found it somewhat pricey. $15 plus $4 to make it a combo. Not sure how many pieces comes. Couldn’t find qty.“

“I'm so happy I found this place! I've been here like 4 times already & I always leave so full & satisfied. The BEST seafood boil place I've been to, & I've been to plenty. Their wings and fried rice combo is also a big hit among us. If you want some alcoholic drinks, I recommend the lychee soju ! You can share it with friends & it tastes soo good. I can't wait to try more items from the menu. It's also a plus that they're opened late, since everything seems to closed at 9 or 10. It's a small nice restaurant by a gas station but don’t get discouraged cause their large menu and food will have you coming back.“

“I recently had dinner here and was completely blown away by the improvement in food since the new owners took over the restaurant. We ordered the clam noodle soup which had a very clean and homey soup with chewy noodles. It came with kimchee that is probably the best kimchee I’ve had in a restaurant. The woman who works there told me that they make it in house, unlike other restaurants that outsource premade ones. The fried variety plate was well done and freshly fried. Finally we got the burdock root kimbap (rolls) which was the best vegetarian rolls we’ve ever tried as it comes stuffed with huge pieces of fluffy eggs. Definitely eating here regularly.“

“Overall, it was a great experience. Self-service, no tip concept is nice, makes this place more affordable.
My partner and I had seafood cream pasta, jalapeño pasta, and buldak chicken. The pastas were awesome. The seafood cream pasta was creamy and steamy hot. Jalapeño pasta is spicy and tangy. If you dont like sourness, it might not be it for you. Buldak chicken was so-so. The chicken itself was great, but there was not much sauce on top (kinda worked out because the sauce didn't go with the chicken). Overall, for the price, it was a wonderful experience.“

“I saw this place on instagram and I saved it to my list of restaurants to eat while in Duluth. I came here before the Ateez concert and was not disappointed!! Everything was so good! I got the pepperoni pizza, chicken and some beer. It was definitely 10/10. Chicken was crispy and the pizza tasted like it came out of a brick over with a great cheese pull! I’m definitely pulling back up again. Staff was also nice and helpful!!“

“This small cozy restaurant offers some intestines as the main dish to order. It may be adventurous to some who are not used to it, but if coming with friends it will be a fun time! While it is a Korean restaurant, don’t let that deter you if you only speak English and are unsure about the menu. The servers here are nice and are able to assist with both the cooking and explanation of the menu. Ordered a combo plus some additional large intestines as it seemed to taste the best in my opinion. While the restaurant can be busy towards the evening, the servers do try to help everyone. They may forget to fill waters/hot teas and take some empty dishes away but overall a great experience. Side note it feels a bit cheaper to drink beer/soju here compared to other restaurants so I felt encouraged to drink here with this meal and will highly recommend to drink alcohol when eating this kind of meal.“

“My mom and I stopped by for dinner and had an awesome meal. From the warm tea before the meal, 10 different side dishes, seaweed soup with our main dish, to sikhye (Korean rice drink) at the end of our meal, it was a worthwhile experience for the price! The side dishes and the seaweed soup were really delicious, whereas the spicy pork was decent. My mom got the fish and she really enjoyed that. The service was very friendly, and we ended up purchasing two of the side dishes at the end of our meal to take home. 10/10 would definitely recommend for a homey Korean style meal :-)“

“Got the seafood soup with ramen versus spicy and mackerel. The mackerel was great and a huge piece as well. The soup wasn’t as spicy as I thought it would be getting the highest spice level. The ramen also took away from the soup. The sides were blah. Other than that it was decent. Service was great“

“I went with an acquaintance for the first time and ordered a meal, but it tasted better than I expected. I ordered cheonggukjang soft tofu and tripe soft tofu ribs, and the owner kindly asked me how it tasted, and the people who ate with me were satisfied that it was delicious, and I also enjoyed it. ^^“

“I ate the basic omelet rice and kimchi omelet rice.
The kimchi omurice was so salty that it was difficult to eat.
It was salty overall, and when I chewed the kimchi, it became even more sour and salty, so I had no choice but to pick out all the kimchi and keep drinking water while eating it.
I felt like it was a waste to eat it all, but it was so salty that it made me feel sick.
I didn't lower the rating because it wasn't tasteless, but I would like to ask you to check it out.
It may be difficult to check up all the menus that are served countless times, but if it is not just the menu I ordered and all the kimchi omelet rice is salty and spicy, it seems that improvement is needed.
I am saying this with the hope that you will do well, so please do not be offended and think positively. I hope your business prospers.“

“Amazing Korean Food in a simple location but packs a huge punch. I came here solely based on the recommendation of this soup I have been craving. Gamjatang is a spicy pork bone soup. This item at Daebal House was a massive tower of amazing flavor! The menu has a fairly small but simple listing of typical Korean dishes from soup to meats ——while I was there 99% of the patrons are eating this dish. This place is open after 5pm and is similar to a late night bar with fine dining food… Highly recommend if you are in the area and want authentic quality tasting korean food and experience with friends. Oh and the kimchi is the BoMB!!!!!!! So yummmmmmmmmmy! First pic is when it came out!! Second pic is after we all ate to our hearts desire and there were still leftovers!!!!!“

“We used this catering service for my son’s 100th day birthday, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious—everyone loved it. We had bulgogi, fried chicken, chicken katsu, and cod jun, and everything was perfectly prepared. The fried chicken was a huge hit with our guests—it was garlicky with just the right amount of spice! Clara was wonderful to work with, always quick to respond and very sweet. She made the whole process easy, and the food really made the event special. Highly recommend!“

“This is a famous Korean barbecue restaurant in Atlanta. My family and I like to eat here very much. The beef is fresh and delicious, and the pork is fat but not greasy. The waiter's attentive service helped grill the meat and added side dishes in a timely manner. It was very delicious. A final bowl of noodles completes the meal. I like it very much and will come again.
The disadvantage is that the meat in the set meal is less, but it is understandable. Now that prices have increased, the price can be increased, but don't reduce the meat. It used to be enough for four people, but now I will order an extra plate of meat, which is just right.“

“We ordered set A. They were quite tasty if you can handle intestines. Our waiter was friendly and patient. The only thing that might be lacking in my opinion is that the sides could be more “clean taste” to balance the richness of these grilled food. Maybe some green onion salad or even kimchi would help.“

“Wow. You guys are so freaking good. My BF and I ate here today for Christmas dinner since we wanted relaxing day today and oh my gosh sooooo good. Beef bulogogi is the bomb and so is chicken teriyaki. The spicy crab roll isn’t too spicy either and I have sensitive tummy.“

“I liked the atmosphere of the place. Every table has a place to have bbq if you want. We ordered from the lunch menu. I had the sirloin and tonkasu. It was awesome. My wife spicy pork with vegetables and seafood tofu soup. It was okay. The pork was a bit fatty, and the soup was over salty. The service was really good, and we will definitely be back to try the bbq.“

“I frequently visit this restaurant whenever I'm craving authentic, traditional Korean homemade soups and comforting dishes that evoke the flavors of home. There’s something incredibly endearing about this place—its humble, unpretentious charm and the warm, welcoming atmosphere make you feel as if you’re dining at a family member’s home. The service here is also something special; it’s reminiscent of the care and attention you’d receive from a beloved aunt, with staff who genuinely make you feel at ease.
During our recent visit, we ordered the 우거지 해장국 (beef and cabbage hangover soup), paired with a bottle of Soju, setting the tone for a deeply meaningful evening. We were there to reflect on the memories of a close friend who had recently passed away. The rich, earthy flavors of the soup, with its tender beef and perfectly seasoned broth, brought us not only comfort but also a sense of togetherness as we shared stories, laughter, and emotions.
The meal, coupled with the warm atmosphere, allowed us to indulge fully in both the food and our conversation, creating a poignant yet cathartic experience. Even though we were soaked from sweats, it only added to the mood as we savored each spoonful, almost as if the delicious, hearty food was helping to wash away our sorrows, if only for a brief moment.
This restaurant continues to be a place where I not only enjoy delicious meals but also find solace and a sense of peace in the comforting atmosphere. It has become more than just a dining spot—it's a sanctuary for reflection and meaningful connections.“

“This is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Since I tasted food last summer I’ve been dying to come back.
It’s a self-service restaurant where you order the food and pay at the front. Then you can pick up food when it beeps. It took less than 10 min for us to get our delicious food!
Staff are incredible polite and efficient.
My favorite is the steamed dumplings, cold buckwheat noodles with bbq pork.
My friend had a traditional Korean soup and that had unique flavor.
Price is incredible value for this qualify of food. They have hot yuksu (beef broth soup) that has unlimited refill.
When I go back to NY, I will really miss this place!“

“I went to Glam for the cafe menu. Surprisingly, the croffles were pretty cheap at $5 each, and I got the Biscoff one. It came out warm and soft, and tasted great! It was comparable to other croffle in the area like Twohas, at half the price. Ice cream was cold and smooth and fit in perfectly.“

“It's not cheap for a food court, but the portions are so large that one adult man can't eat the whole bowl!
The sweet and sour pork is full of meat and doesn't feel heavy, so I keep eating it. The Jjajangmyeon noodles were the most satisfying I've had since coming to the US, but the disappointing thing is that the seasoning was a little too salty for my taste.
Still, it was a very satisfying meal. I recommend it👍

“Yall don't be sleeping on this place. They make some good good food. They catered for my wedding in June and I am very happy with this decision. The quality of the food was excellent, flavors were on point, and there was an abundant amount of food. Evenmy mom was happy with the food. If you have a Korean mother, you know this is speaking volumes about the place. The owner is a woman of very few words, but listens your requests, and makes sure you are satisfied. Not only do they cater big parties, but they also sell everyday korean side dishes, rice cakes, and soups. I would recommend hands down. Stop by and give them a try, won't regret.“

“I’ve been wanting to try Korean corn dogs for the longest. It took me a lot of circling around the area to realize it was in the super market. Anyways even though I couldn’t really understand what the lady said she was very helpful. I got my order in under 5 minutes and it’s really cheap. When I bit into the corn dog the cheese pull was outstanding, and also no matter what corn dog you get say YES to sugar coating because the sugar just made it 10x better it tasted like a fried donut coated in sugar and when you bite into it you get a cheese pull plus some crunch. Definitely recommend!!“
