“I Just love this place Caribbean Elegance Restaurant & Lounge that is under new management I visited in Decatur, I met Patrice she was so professional, she made me feel so welcomed. Patrice was so prompt and pleasant in serving me. I ordered the Chicken Wings with the Smoked Sinful Passion. What I loved most of all is that I did not have to wait too long for Patrice to have my order on my table. I would recommend this place to my friends and family. The food was scrumptious. I mean the atmosphere was awesome. I am the type of person that loves my food hot, and hot is what it was on my table. This is my new hang out.Parking: I was able to park my car with great access to retrieve it.“

“I host a quarterly happy hour here and the service is always EXCELLENT! We have ranged from 20-35 employees showing up for happy hour and The Beverly is always very accommodating of us. The wait staff is always friendly, patient and professional, down to the bartenders, and they all handle our large parties WELL! The food, drinks and music is always pretty good. The ambiance is also perfect because we can be LOUD! Oh and there is plenty free parking. We keep saying we're going to try out different black owned happy hour locations but we keep coming back to The Beverly!“

“This is a take-out spot! Don’t expect to sit down and beware of the Js! Once you look past the fact that it’s in a dirty gas station, you’ll be alright. The food was really good. I ordered griot and rice. You get a nice size portion of everything. I paid $20. It wasn’t the best griot I ever ate in Atlanta but it was decent. The pikliz seemed kinda old. It wasn’t spicy at all but it tasted good. Haitian food is so hard to find in Atlanta that I would literally eat it from the back of a gas station! I would definitely come back!“

“Looking for a jerk restaurant for my dad and I moving from Chicago (best food ever ?) to Georgia. The reviews did not lie!! Food was delicious! Servings were nice sized and the people were friendly. That jerk sauce is bomb!!My only drawback was the chicken could have been grilled a little longer…that didn’t stop dad and I from finishing our plates!“

“Food is always fresh and made to order. The staff and owner are always nice and inviting. I have gotten home before, and my order was not correct, and I was invited to return at my convenience to make the correct order for me. I visit several times a week because I know I will always receive great service and quality food. ? ⭐️ ? ? ?Vegetarian options: I do not eat meat, so they replace the chicken with jerk vegetables for me in the jerk bowl. Always flavored to perfection with yellow rice.“

“I ordered here once a few years back and couldn’t remember if I enjoyed it so I stopped by again yesterday. I ordered a small jerk chicken, I wanted a beef patty but they were out. The jerk plate was good, food was fresh, I asked for just rice and meat but they gave me cabbage and plantain as well (it was tasty but I didn’t eat cause I didn’t want it). The chicken and rice & peas were so good; I wish they gave a little more rice, but they meat was plentiful. Customer service wasn’t friendly but they weren’t disrespectful or rude to me, and although there was a bit of a crowd as I came in, I was served quickly and out the door. Oh just a heads up, it’s 27 cent for extra jerk sauce (for anyone who likes a lot of sauce for their meat). Will be returning for the food for sure.“

The oxtail dinner with rice n peas & cabbage is good also. The place is clean and the wait isn't long. The parking is good too. I'd recommend.“

“We went here on a whim today and I had to write a review as SOON as we got done eating. This was our first time here and never heard of it so wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s very mom and pop but it had a nice and simple vibe when you get inside. There were two women working when I went in and they made sure to speak. Not overly friendly but polite. There wasn’t a menu anywhere which made knowing what I wanted difficult, but I just figured I could order two plates. The first one I got was a medium curry chicken plate with rice and peas and cabbage. The second was a small jerk chicken with rice and peas and mac and cheese. There was confusion when I went to pay because I told the other lady what I ordered but the first lady making my plate gave me a medium jerk chicken meal and not a small. I was fine with them just adjusting the portion of food so as to not give me more than I was paying for, but it looked like that was too complicated and she just gave me the food without the extra cost. She did seem a little frustrated but I appreciated the customer service. I felt bad about the misunderstanding, so made sure to leave a tip. Because there were no menus anywhere I was a little thrown when I saw two plates cost me $40. BUT you get a lot of food and it was so GOOD! I was shocked reading some of the reviews below because every part of our food was bomb. Full of flavor in each bite and hot. I do think having menus visible could be a huge help. This place is definitely worth the visit and we will be back!“

“Awesome service from Rae our server. I had the curry shrimp. Very good and tasty but the rice was crispy. They also served with plastic silverware as regular silverware being washed. Also out of cheesecake and the bread pudding without ice cream as they were out. Otherwise, great music and ambience.“

“I was craving oxtails and my friend recommended this place to me. As soon as I walked in and smelled how delicious everything seemed, I knew it was going to be good!I ordered the oxtail dinner and got a huge portion. Everything was delicious and I highly recommend this spot!“
“BEST gotdamn rice and peas I've had in a long while. I get it with ox tail gravy and I also get the cabbge. I mix the two. It's super good. I tried the ginger drink that's made in house and it's reallly good, almost better than when I juice myself. I'm not one to write reviews if I do it's because something is eitehr that good or that bad. This is that good. I live down the street for years and work in the area and never knew they were there. Glad I found this place.“

“In all fairness the food is very salty, (all that salt is not needed) however, the flavors were good and the food was fresh. The young fellow was friendly and the restaurant was clean. (I like clean! Especially when it comes to my food!) I did spend roughly $5-$7 more than I usually do on this type of food but I didn't have to cook tonight so I'll live. Lighten up on the salt and the reviews should bounce back in no time.Vegetarian options: Salty but tasty and available“
