“We were in the area visiting Tellus Museum and found this place when searching for Mexican Food. The place is fairly small and in a strip mall, but eas well docorated and well suited to host medium sized groups and families. Food was very good and service to match. We had the El Dorado Special as well as several papusas. Prices were good for the quantity and quality of food we received.Kid-friendliness: Kids menus for coloring and easy selection and a friendly staff that makes bringing children in a breeze.“

“Can’t say enough about this place. We had a wide variety of food.. appetizers, soup, tacos, nachos, different salsas and dips and everything was excellent. The steak was very tender and flavorful. The server was hands down the best server I’ve ever had! And I was a server myself for years. Carlos. He was the perfect combination of knowledgeable, caring, attentive, hard-working, professional, and neat & tidy. He stayed busy working the whole time because they were packed but we were never left wanting anything for very long. He made the guacamole at the table. He asked us all the right things. The place was so busy that we barely found a place to park but yet we only waited 10-15 minutes for a table and the food came out quick also. Will definitely be back the next time I’m in town.“

“Our favorite restaurant! We've never had complaints about the service or the food. I'm glad they expanded because they are always busy during regular dinner hours. Anytime we're trying to decide where to go, this is the first choice out of my husband's mouth.“

“Wow, the carna asada is amazing. My kids and I all had buritto. They cot the buritto in half. The burrito size was average but not large. I They came with fries which were OK but odd to have fries at a Mexican place. The staff was very friendly and they had a lot of tables. We order chips and salsa to start with which was OK but nothing special. We will be back“

“Everything is great about this restaurant! My boyfriend and I love eating out at Mexican, and we’ve gone to a lot of different ones but this one is the best! We come here at least once a week, and the owner Gonzalo is great as is everyone else, even when we come in late. Thank you!“

“We visited El Napol (Cartersville) yesterday evening. Our server was Amara. She is amazing. Very professional and attentive. On what appeared to be a busy dinner hour she stopped at our table several times to make sure we were well taken care of. We ear out numerous times each week and I recognize stellar service when I receive it“

“Really good food served quickly. Nice people and orders are taken in Spanish and English, which is really nice. Only really needs an update in the sitting area. More authentic things on the wall, pictures, etc... would help more people eat inside and be better for business, I think.“

“While driving around looking at Christmas lights last December we discovered a new restaurant in Kennesaw. The parking lot was overflowing so we knew the food must be good. We returned tonight and had a wonderful meal. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was fresh and tasty. I feasted on Steak Fajitas. It was served with guacamole salad, beans and rice and homemade corn tortillas. The serving was ample and I needed a box for half the meal. Jack had Carnitas which he finished and pronounced delicious. The salsa was homemade and some of the best I've eaten. We were shown the dessert menu but being overfull we declined. We'll definitely return!“

“At this charming Mexican eatery, the steak in the burrito de Colorado was cooked to perfection, offering just the right blend of tenderness and flavor that meat lovers will appreciate. However, the salsa served alongside it skewed a bit on the sweet side. Those with a penchant for spicier flavors might find it tame, so it's advisable to request the extra hot salsa for that kick of heat.Service here deserves a special mention; it was attentive and efficient. The staff handled an error with one of our plates commendably, quickly rectifying the mistake with professionalism and a smile. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall enjoyable experience, featuring festive decorations that align well with the lively spirit expected at a Mexican dining spot. This combination of great food, responsive service, and a vibrant setting makes for a delightful dining experience.“

“Food was really good, very hefty portions for the price. Service was on point and comfortable atmosphere. We usually don't like to try new Mexican restrounts but this place was great. The only thing I wish they had were tortas.Vegetarian options: They can pretty much do anything vegan including fajitas.Parking: Large parking lot, plenty of roomKid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and sings for bdays“

“We tried the Hiram location and my wife had an allergic reaction to something. So we decided to try this one on our way back from TN. The manager and server were super pleasant. My wife asked to add grilled onions to her nachos and they put chucks of raw red onions. We sent it back and they just added grilled on top. That was disappointing but we understand things happen. The manager took it off the check since my wife didn't eat it. He was apologetic and wanted to make sure we had a great time. My seafood burrito was fantastic. Will likely try again.“

“My family absolutely loves La Cocina. We eat here at least once, most often, twice a week. We bring our extended family, relatives who travel to see us, and friends each time we come in. This past weekend, I tried the special "Arroz Chilango". It was by far the best thing I've ever eaten there and and I really hope they add it to the menu. It was rice with shrimp and a ton of vegetables. So delicious. 10/10!“

“Very excellent atmosphere, food and service! The interior is very pretty and festive, the chips and salsa were very tasty and just a touch spicy, but not too much. We tried a few different dishes and they were all very good. Gabriela was our server and she was fantastic- we'll be asking for her again next weekend! The agua fresca was refreshing and served filled to the brim in a huge mug. Moderate pricing and quiet atmosphere. We were pleased and happy with our dining experience. We will definitely be back and we'll bring our friends and family! 5 Stars!“
“This place has nice comfort food and desserts. The line was practically out the door, which is a good sign. The girls behind the counter work their butt off to serve everyone in a timely manner. Just be aware there aren't many tables to sit and eat, so it's mostly standing room when the place is fullMy only complaint is that there are no descriptions for the food on the menu. Which leads me to ask "What's in this, or, what's that?", at the counter, inevitably holding up the line. I can speak Spanish, so I can imagine it being extra annoying for a non-spanish speaker.Either way, I will definitely be coming back to try more menu items.“

“We ordered online for pickup! Wait said 25 minutes but we were hungry so we showed up earlier then the expected wait time. I was greeted by either a manager or owner. I let him know I was waiting on an order and he promptly went to the kitchen and came back 30 seconds later with my food. Nice and Hot !! It was crowded so we expected it to take longer. I gave a 5 stars. Food was awesome, flavorful and the portions were large, plenty of leftovers. Will definitely be hitting up this spot again!! Thanks again!!“
“Best homemade corn tortillas ever! I pick them up to go whenever I'm making tacos at home. Everything is fresh and delicious. It's not the fastest service and the atmosphere is lackluster, but the quality of food more than makes up for those shortcomings.“
“I'm originally from California, and finding a good Mexican place to eat here in Georgia is HARD! I'm mexican and have eaten the best of the best and let me tell you. This place is the BEST OVERALL! The owner is always present and welcoming. The food! It is as close to the best I've had starting from the flavors in the meats, tortillas that don't taste like cardboard good guacamole. This is the only place I'd go to near home hand down. All those other places that say they're Mexican taste horrible, and if you see reviews, they're mainly from "white people." lol Don't worry, my husband is all white American. But I can only say what the pallet for real true Mexican food is, and it's here.“

“Rico's has been around for quite some time in Acworth. They made it through the world wide bug.. that is awesome. Their food is well priced, the portions are definitely very large. My only feedback would be there are times that they miss a good portion of their online orders. In fact, a few times they have been just wrong. I did call and the staff was apologetic. They do take a lot of orders... great job Rico's!“

“I personally didn't eat there yet, but will in near future. Went in to see menu etc, very neat and busy. I asked people leaving how it was... everyone I asked replied positive response. I already had dinner in oven or I would have gotten it from there. They were packed for early afternoon!“
