“Literally the cleanest McDonald's I've ever seen! I don't eat at McDonald's often but this location is not only very clean but the food is always hot and fresh. Also, the staff are all really nice too. Their health code score last I checked is 100. Keep up the great work! Ok, so while trying to complete my review I decided to get a photo of the health code score to validate my statement. In doing so, the events that transpired led to an encounter with the manager Joseph who had no idea that I was in the middle of writing a review of his store ( and had already decided to give 5 stars). What happened: On my way to snap a photo for my review I placed an order through the app to pick up in the drive-through. Once I arrived, I noticed that the order was placed for pickup at a different store. I frantically searched through the app for an option to cancel the order but unfortunately, there was no way for me to cancel the order. I tried calling the other store to cancel the order but the call went to a fax machine. Finally, I decided to go into the flowery branch location where I thought I had placed the order and asked to speak to the manager. Joseph the manager came out, and I explained what happened. Joseph jumped into action to assist me with canceling the order. He looked through the app and also discovered that there was no option to cancel the order so he called the manager at the Buford store to have them cancel the order, but the manager at the Buford location said that there was no way for him to cancel the order because I was not close enough to their store for them to receive the order. Joseph said you know what I'm gonna go ahead and make this order for you. I'm gonna make it right. I thanked him for his help and told him that the whole reason that I was there was so that I could get a picture of their health code score because I was in the middle of writing writing a yelp review for his store. I've then showed him the saved review so that he knew that I was not joking. He thanked me for the five star review, and proceeded to tell me how hard he had been working to bring up the score from the current one and a half stars, and that he appreciated my review. Joseph the manager had no idea I was there to complete my review and unknowingly solidified the in progress 5 star review by providing me an organic above and beyond customer service experience due to an issue with an app order and the inability to cancel or change the pickup location. It was truly a pleasure to meet you Joseph, you are both great to the customers as well as your staff and the quality of your store, staff and food shows this.“
“The McDonald's staff member Ethan who assisted us tonight was exceptional. We accidentally missed a few items in our order, and when we placed a second order, our first one was already prepared. Before we even settled down, the second meal was also ready, but the McDonald's employee kindly brought it to us. During our brief conversation with him, we were impressed by his warm and friendly demeanor. The food was served promptly and piping hot. We highly recommend this McDonald's as the top choice in town.“
