“I stopped eating out compared to most ppl. I do it every now and then. Today we missed breakfast so I took one of the little ones thats not in school for some food. My four stars comes from my having serving tables over 14yrs and 2 being at a waffle House. We sat in the chairs waiting for a table but sat at the high counter due to time management. We had other things to do. No one said anything to us until we sat at the high counter. After that everybody was fine. All the food came, didn't need anything. My lady said her hash browns were a little too crispy but wasn't that big of a deal. We was able to eat and leave within our time limit. My lady is a truck driver in the area so I would eat there again if I decide to eat out again.“
“I placed a to go order & the server Shawn was very helpful & suggestful of what I should get, he was sweet & a well mannered young man! Great personality & was tell me how he just moved to atl & was excited about working for Gocha. My food was so good & I enjoyed it! The atmosphere & vibes were nice in there too, I definitely will return to dine in soon ??“
“Food was great, drinks were great, good vibe, service not so much. Don’t get me wrong, our server was great, he was just stretched too thin. I swear he was the only mf working. Had to be cooking, serving, hosting, making drinks, it ALL. Not a fan of the automatic gratuity as it should be based on service, however seeing as my server was doing more than serving, it was deserved. Dining area isn’t the largest, so maybe that’s why he was the only one, but when the server is juggling regular tables and parties, things can get pretty slow.“
“I went to location across from the Aquarium. From the hostesses to my amazing Server Janiece, the entire experience was awesome! I had the Chicken and waffles and they were good. Both hostess (didnt get her name) and my waitress Janeice recommended the peach cobbler. Having never had peach cobbler I got it on the side. The chicken was flavorful and had nice crunch to it. The peach topping was nice. I cant wait to go back and try the chicken and biscuits w/black pepper gravy. 10 out of 10 from overall experience.“
“The food was on point and the service didn’t miss. Mattie was our server and when I say personality, she has it. Along with her sense of humor and knowledge of service, she adds flavor to an already amazing establishment.Thank you Eggs up Grill and thank you for the service Mattie.Cliff and Trimika“
“Local "mom and pop" type restaurant that I enjoyed. It had my namesake so I had to try it out! It feels very homely inside and they have a "regular" crowd and following. I heard customers being called by their names and their orders already being known. I sat in the corner and observed and I felt at ease. The food came out hot and plentiful. The biscuit was soft and melted in my mouth. It definitely tasted homemade. I did add salt and pepper to my omelet and that's OK; I get it. The grits were hot and were not stiff or too runny. I think I added a little salt and that was perfectly fine too. I'd definitely go back. There's not a lot of seating so be prepared to do take-out.“
“The best grits I've had, and I sincerely mean that! The cajun gravy used on the biscuits has just the right about of heat, and I will be back to try all this amazingly smelling fried chicken dishes everyone around me has chosen. 10/10 must visit if you're in Atlanta.“
“From the time you walk in the security is at the door waiting to open the door for you and give you some instructions . The staff was very friendly and very helpful. And the chicken was cooked perfectly. I haven't had such a good piece of chicken in a long time. The waffles were delicious as well . I ordered the classic and my partner had the sweet heat chicken and waffles.“
“At first when we pulled up we weren't sure because it looked a little shady but we were pleasantly surprised. Food was fast and amazing.. staff was attentive and very friendly. All in all it was a great experience. I definitely give them five stars and come find them anytime you're in town. Thanks for the great service.“
“We had brunch at EMB this weekend while attending a wedding in Atlanta. This restaurant has a really nice vibe and the food and service are very good. We ordered the seafood shrimp and grits and the classic breakfast. Both were outstanding. If you go to Eat My Biscuits I recommend making reservations because the dining area is not very large and the place is always packed. We liked everything about this restaurant, the music the food and the vibe!“
“This was our first time at Breakfast At Barney’s and we had a great experience. The hostess was bubbly and friendly and our server Keda was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Food was delicious and the music was a vibe. We will definitely be back.“
“Beautiful decor, and lovely ambiance as well as good coffee pastries. I had limited time, but am excited to come back for a full breakfast! The servers, Charlei and Natasha were so welcoming, friendly, and fast! Thank you so much! for making my first visit, such a pleasant experience!“
“Rays has always been good when I’ve had the time to stop and get food. But this week I have stopped 3 times whoever this new cook is the sausage, bacon, egg, potato and cheese burrito has been delicious. It is seasoned to perfection with every bite being savory. Keep doing whatever you’re doing…..also the Apple fritter is remarkable. Week of march 18 - 22“
“Breakfast food was so good and servers were so nice??definitely going back! My chair was uncomfortable though and my legs were a little chilly as is not necessarily inside of a building. The resteraunt is surrounded by tarp and they have nice heaters inside, although the heater next to my table was off (im sure I could've asked for it to be turned on). Otherwise food was so delicious 10/10Would not recommend the parmesan grits though they were meh“
“This is our second time visiting Atlanta from out of town (Florida) and we made it a point to stop yet again, and was NOT disappointed! The food was sooooo good, and the staff was patient with our kids. Love it and will definitely be back our next time to town!!“
“I love the down to earth atmosphere here. Home style cooking and sweet women with amazing personalities. The food tops everything and was delicious and I would definitely recommend and return. I had French Toast with eggs and my husband had salmon croquettes with grits…and hands down closest to grandma’s than you can get anywhere else. So if you’re out in Atlanta stop in and have some home cooking here. You won’t be disappointed!!“
“Just went today and OMG haven’t been here in years and it was just as delicious as it was before. The prices are super reasonable and they give you a lot of food. The staff was nice and it didn’t take long for my food at all. I should have taken pics lol but I dug into the food. I had a breakfast bowl with sausage and extra eggs with cheese and a sausage egg and cheese quesadillas and all of that was 10.80 you can’t beat that especially these days and the food was great. I wanna go back tomorrow lol“
“This is the type of place you aggressively gatekeep. Not super impressed with food I order too often but I had to leave a review immediately. The catfish might be the best in Atlanta and could be its own entree. The strawberry french toast is immaculate. If they add mac and cheese to the menu I’d be here weekly. Please give the chef their flowers.“
“Good for breakfast, friendly service. Was told don’t go here for lunch but never tried it. But if necessary I’ll be back just a sample and reviewParking: There is a small lot but not impossibleKid-friendliness: It’s old school but good vibes. Though I wouldn’t recommend dining there. Good food but old building needs some loveWheelchair accessibility: It’s a go“
“My fiancé and I dined on a Sunday afternoon, and had an amazing experience! our server Nakeeta was very warm and genuine, while attending to and anticipating all of our needs! We had the steak burrito and turkey club which were exceptional. The manager Alicia made us feel very welcome and we can't wait to return!“
“We found this Gem in Atlanta Georgia . We got there in time before they closed.I ordered their southern breakfast. I also got fried chicken on the side plus a waffle and a cinnamon roll.I wanted to try a bit of everything. The chicken was absolutely delicious. All the food had so much flavor. The service was phenomenal. The prices were fair.I'll definitely be returning. When I come back to Atlanta.Parking: Extra parking in the back“
“My first time there and I enjoyed it. It was a little bit of a wait to get served but once my order was taken the food came out Fast and Hot. The grits were a little bland but everything else was great. The Catfish was Amazing And The Orange Juice was Fresh.“
“Used this a couple of times while staying at the Kimpton across the street . Incredibly extensive menu, food well prepared and cost very reasonable. Just lets itself down with messy tables that could be cleared earlier and serving tables with plastic cutlery (???) meaning you have to ask for metal ones. Minor things that just stop it being a five star review“
“Stopped in to order two pecan waffles for my mother and my breakfast this morning. Waffles were nice and crispy and we added pecans. Service was fast and friendly. Love everything at Waffle House.Plenty of free parking as well. Right on Anvilblock in Ellenwood.“
“Waffle House is always a great choice , where else are they gonna pull fresh food out of the fridge and cook it quick , in front of you . Serve it hot and ready to go in j der 10 minutes. Come on man. And maybe you'll get a show too .“
“Give Omar a raise or something , he was our server and he was super nice and very considerate. Staff were all nice and funny , Was a great vibe!! The food was immaculate !!! Left no crumbs, props to the cook ! This the best Waffle House I’ve ever been too . If y’all want Waffle House this is the spot !!“
“The cook MR. John he did great with the food and Ms.Step omg ? she’s great with people very respectful and I love that I love going somewhere and feeling welcomed .Dietary restrictions: They will work with special diets .Kid-friendliness: Great for kids love how we had customer service and they were all nice and friendly especially Ms. Step very helpful.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to enter .“
“Waffle House is an American staple! A must see and mist taste! The staff at this particular waffle house is amazing! Not ure what other words to use to describe how welcoming, friendly and amicable the whole team was!The service was impeccable! The food... Tasty, savory, fresh and very southern!A wonderful experience! Thanks to the everyone who made the Waffle experience awesome for my family and I!“
“Very quick and professional service! Took a second to place my order with the cashier due to another difficult customer but the “line cook assistant”, I am definitely ignorant to their position titles, but the lady behind the cashier took my order as I waited properly place my order with cashier and before I finished ordering with the cashier the cooks/assistants had my food bagged up and ready to go! Cooked to Perfection! The cleanliness of the WF was top tier and the workers were very presentable! Shocking because when you think of a WF you want all the “nasty-like” characteristics because that is when you know it good lol, but this WF surpassed all stereotypes for location and service! It was like having drive thru breakfast without the drive thru! I would definitely return! Great management and staff! You all understand quality, customer service!“
“Don’t let the Latino staff Fool you!!! This spot is the one in Forest Park. My son took me there for lunch, they’re all very pleasant (smiles on everyone’s faces), the visible bar is spectacular!! And oh that price….should have been able to give 10 stars!!!Best country fried steak, I’ve had in years… sorry Mr. J“
