“The experience we had with Mr.Dameione and Magnolia BBQ far exceeded our expectations. Coming from New Orleans we are critical of food from other places....but Nola.... Magnolia BBQ gave us a run for our money. The food was wonderful.They were professional, they were set up and ready to serve before our group even arrived. They were courteous and attentive to our guest from start to finish. I would recommend this business 100 times again and again. I cant wait to party again in Atl. MAGNOLIA BBQ will always be our 1st choice.“

“I went here off of seeing it on Google. I ordered the Turkey Wings, rice, yams, Mac and cheese. The other plate it was fried chicken and Mac with cornbread on both plates. When I tell you everything was perfect from the customer service, Atmosphere, portions, you can tell that these folk have a passion for whipping these delicious meals. Run don’t walk!!! “JenChan’s is one of my favorite restaurants! The food and cocktails are delicious. I have not had a dish there that I didn’t love. The margarita pizza, rice bowls, and ginger margaritas are my favorites! Not only is the food amazing, the service and employees are absolutely wonderful. A 10/10 must try restaurant!“

“Sunday Brunch was really good. Chicken was seasoned well and waffles were light and fluffy! Owner had an awesome spirit about her. Music and atmosphere was on point. Our waitress was a swertheart,, I forgot her name but she had a boot on her foot! My son loved his rasta pasta... and he hates everything!!!!“

“The portion sizes are generous. The pancake was the size of a 10 inch plate. The chicken was lightly battered and tasted delicious. The biscuits were fluffy without being underdone. The sausage gravy was very good. The fried green tomatoes are thick cut and good. The pickles are Doux South, which are very flavorful, but we didn't care for the cornmeal batter on the pickles. The horseradish ranch was very good. Sriracha ranch had a nice kick. Overall, we would definitely go again.“

“What a fantastic and unique experience of a meal! My wife and I celebrated our 16 year anniversary at Gunshow not knowing what to expect and the whole dining experience blew us away. It's a dim sum style meal where every plate brought out is a culinary masterpiece and different than the other. The cocktails are fantastic as well. Plates are perfectly sized l for two and small portions so you can share and try many different plates. I've heard their menu changes daily so you get variety and their exquisite flavor profiles of dishes, drinks and desserts can truly be enjoyed. I recommend coming to Gunshow for a special occasion and look to spend roughly $150+ per person.5 solid Stars easily and two thumbs way up for Gunshow.“

“I went to location across from the Aquarium. From the hostesses to my amazing Server Janiece, the entire experience was awesome! I had the Chicken and waffles and they were good. Both hostess (didnt get her name) and my waitress Janeice recommended the peach cobbler. Having never had peach cobbler I got it on the side. The chicken was flavorful and had nice crunch to it. The peach topping was nice. I cant wait to go back and try the chicken and biscuits w/black pepper gravy. 10 out of 10 from overall experience.“

“I walked in and wasn’t greeted by any of the three people standing by the door with the uniform on, fine cause I was sitting at the bar for a to go order anyway. When I sat down the bar tender came over after a few minutes and picked up the straw and cup of water in front of the only open seat that I chose to sit in (didn’t wipe the bar down despite there being liquid and residual ketchup from the last guest). I was told that the menu was accessible via the QR code in front of me (no drink menu on the site) and I told her I needed a minute to solidify my order. When she came back, she took my order and never offered me a drink, I would’ve ordered a cocktail or a beer since I would be waiting for food, I’d think she’d use that as an opportunity to upsell me on a drink. Bartender brought the bill after reading off my order with her back to me and there was a 20% gratuity for dining in. A few minutes later I flagged her down to ask her to remove the automatic gratuity to which she responded “I thought you’d be eating appetizer here while you wait.” If she really believed that she’d have offered me a drink. She removed the gratuity no issues and I paid, and tipped her 18% anyway. 20 minutes later my food came out and when I got home there was no jalapeño ranch that’s advertised to come with the fried pickles and everything was entirely too salty, I couldn’t finish the food. All in all I will go back, because this is the worst experience I’ve had there and it’s still not a deal breaker. The food has always been well seasoned in the past and the service great, so take this review with a grain of salt, or maybe not if you’re planning to go.“

“Me and my sister were visiting Atl and were told to visit this spot. We went on Thursday 3/28 and had a server named Brandi, she was by far the best server I have ever had. Good customer service, very attentive, very pretty, food and drinks were amazing. I got the bang bang shrimp and it was amazing. My sister got the sweet tai chilli wings. Good food, good drinks GREAT SERVICE. If you're visiting ask for Brandi and she will definitely take care of you. We will be back“

“This place was awesome! Everything was perfect from the delightful cappuccino to the amazing creamy grits and flaky fluffy Belgium waffle and omlette. My husband and I were so impressed. This is our new breakfast spot when we visit Dekalb. I highly recommend.“

“The service was excellent, the server Freddie was very patient with our party of 10 to make sure all our orders was correct. And the food was delicious. The only thing that they really need to work on and improve is that they need to be able to give individuals their separate ticket. It makes no sense to anyone that if you have a Party of 10 or more they will only give one check for the whole table and only take a card not cash. Now that part just is not welcomed.“

“From out of town, decided to try on a whim as I like home cooked chicken, the chicken is on point with a slight kick to it and boy oh boy does chicken fit the bill for delicious with no disappointment. The beans compliment the chicken and if anything completes the flavor one comes to expect when having chicken with fried pickles, on that note the fried pickles have a great flavor all their own and rounds out the meal. “Awesome place for brunch. Never had a wait. Service is impeccable. Food is amazing. Unique menu. Our favorites are the banana foster pancakes, grits, biscuit, breakfast burrito. This place has turned into one of our go tos!Vegetarian options: Mostly tofu-based alternatives but there options that don’t have tofu in it.Parking: Limited parking however we have never had an issue when we come. Depends what time you come! When it’s crowded during brunch time, it can be worse.“

The nice gentleman behind the counter was extremely nice and friendly. He gave my son a few compliments on his Easter suit and then gave him a cup and said hey tell your daddy to get something to drink. Mind you I only had one cup which was mines. If you are visiting for the first time, please know you order your food & beverages first, then you find a seat. There are no waiters or waitresses & you sit wherever there's an open table. “I got to say hands down, this place was worth every bite. I'm a trucker so I typically eat truck stop food. I happen to stop to do my DOT reset at the Pilot 2605 Bouldercrest Rd, Atlanta, GA 30316 . Which meant I was here for a whole day. As I was about to order Wendy's. I decided to just do a quick google search to see if anything was open. Just so happen to find this Amazing place K1 & Des Southern Spoon. Just so happen this place was open 3pm to 3am, I decided to take a walk to see what they were about. It took me less than 5 min to walk there from the truck stop. Boy was it woth it. I literally ate there 3 times, in the time of being here. So if ever in the area and you hungry try it, you wont regret it.“

“I live in the neighborhood and decided to stop in while on a walk with my son. This Cafe is so cute and spacious! The food was great and the customer service was amazing. (We had the crab cake breakfast) We decided to dine in and the ladies here were so sweet and accommodating to my little guy. This will be my little go to breakfast spot from now on. “Omgggg! At first when I looked at it I thought it was going to be so bland, but that first bite REALLY humbled me omg. I got the cubed steak white rice Mac & cheese and yams. The Mac and & cheese is just like home, & any southern folk know exactly what I mean by that! “This was my first time coming to this restaurant. Dropped my son off for an Interview with Delta and needed somewhere to relax until he was done. Not only was the food tasty, with a great positive and clean environment, thr staff was super friendly! I was so pleased with my food that I decided to get desert to go! I am happy to say that I will be recommending my friends as well as visiting again. Very nice place.“

“Came here for some quick takeout. Got the Baja tacos, which were HUGE. I really liked that. For sides, I did broccoli & rice. Filling meal, and I also got the Ranchero burrito to have the next day. The burrito was very large, and was enough to make into two meals. I'll eventually come back to try more.“

“Discovered MetroWest on IG upon realizing they are owned by the couple who recently launched PO5 in College Park. The energy that is exuded from their social media pages, makes you want to support! The food was freshly prepared upon ordering(kiosk) and worth the wait. We ordered 2 catfish & fries, and 1 catfish/shrimp and fries. I do wish you could select a different side, as I wanted to try the greens or mac n cheese. There is a sign that says no substitutions, so fries it was. The fries are your basic frozen variety. The catfish was freshly fried, and was tasty. Cold lemonade accompanied each box. The service is exceptional at MetroWest, as the owner takes pride in what his business brings to the community. We look forward to returning to try the salmon Philly next!“

“The service was excellent, friendly staff, and food is great . First time visiting family in Atlanta and was looking for southern food this was the first place that popped up that was near. I purchased the lunch special Meatloaf, Mac n cheese, and greens. The flavor in everything is good . Also tried the famous lemonade that comes in a variety of flavors to choose from. Sweet and good. If anyone hasn't traveled to Atl yet, I definitely recommend trying out Big Daddys Kitchen. Good is great“

“New in town and wanted some soul food/comfort food.I came across this small almost mom and pops spot and the food looked pleasing. I searched the address and it's located inside a Shells gas station. I ordered the rib tips,Mac and cheese and cabbage. The dinner also comes with two corn muffins. My boyfriend had the fried whiting and fries,his also came with two cornbread muffins. Everything was exceptional and fresh. The rib tips were cooked perfectly and the sauce was *chefs kiss*. Customer service was great and he explained that the menu options change during the week. We will definitely be back soon!“

The food was good and fresh, and the server was good and very attententive.My main issues were:1) wait time- We waited an hour to be seated even though we had a 315 reservation. Please honor reservation times or don't offer them.2) a $7 PER PERSON fee to cut a cake you bring in is ASTRONOMICAL. A service charge $15 or $20 TOTAL is more than reasonable (even though i think the fee all together is unnecessary). But a party of 11 people would make the cake cutting as much (or more than) the cake itself. If you don't want people celebrating things at your location, please say that in the reservation description.“
