“Staff was friendly and helpful! We had catfish (good), coleslaw (yum!), grits (yum!), chopped pork bque (good), Brunswick stew (yum), French fries, apple fried pie (yum) sweet tea and Sprite. Enjoyed talking to the staff, down home older “hole in the wall” feel which we love! Total of 2 dinners was $35 Would eat here again if we were ever in the area! Camping nearby at Hamburg State Park!“

“Kenny Norris’ BBQ is legendary in this part of the state. I had a small sandwich combo with chips and sweet tea. I don’t know how anyone could eat a large BBQ sandwich. For $7 you can’t beat it. And just for ambience the floor is mostly sawdust shavings. It’s “rustic.”“

“The Southern style menu at Red Oak is all so awesome, I myself have eaten everything on the menu at different times, and have never had a complaint about any of it, it most definitely what you want, the delicious menu makes you keep going back, can't wait for the next Friday, which was my day to go eat. The chef there is an amazing cook. If you are reading this, don't take my word go try it for yourself, you will go back.
