“I love getting takeout from here. My favorite is the bbq baked potato. I always order it with extra sour cream, which I pay extra for, and they forget it EVERY single time. Not just the extra sour cream. They forget it all together. Butter, too, but I usually have that at home.“
“THEE BEST BBQ Augusta has! I love their sauces and the pulled chicken sandwich. Ribs are amazing too! All the sides are straight from your grandma kitchen and the owner is so nice. “I think I was exceptionally nice on a four point star I must say the meats was good. Definitely better then Chef Red in Augusta! Now what I didn’t care for was the sides. Macaroni and collard greens was ok. Just ok. Collards needed more soul and less vinegar. It give me can greens. Macaroni was cooked too dark for me. Where is the cheese! If I am ever in the area again. Definitely would give it a second chance“
“Let me start off by saying that my husband and I LOVE Willie Jewell’s. We always get amazing service, food, and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy our food in. We love this place so much we decided to cater it for our wedding which was this past Saturday and let me tell you, they knocked it out of the park! Rebecca is absolutely amazing and made sure everything was fresh, organized and just overall perfect. Not only did they pile on the food for our 120+ guest list but everything was so fresh! “The restaurant was super busy and all of the ToGo spots were filled. I had to park in a regular spot. The check in process was easy. I did have to wait 10 mins after my pick up time. The ToGo employee was friendly and efficient. The order was perfect. My steak was a little over cooked, but I contribute that to ordering steak to go/container/drive time.“
