“The food was great (well-seasoned, sizable portions), but I really want to shoutout the energetic, attentive, knowledgeable, and engaging Rain! She was the hostess, server, bartender, and all around spirit of the restaurant! She is AMAZING! We'll be back!“
“I was looking for a great Jamaican restaurant in the area and I found it. The food and service were excellent!! I ordered brown stew chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, plantains, beef patty and ginger/fruit punch drink. All tasted authentic, like real Jamaican home cooking. I am Jamaican so I know?. Lorna and her staff are friendly and truly seem to care about the quality of the food they serve. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu.“
“Finally a place with authentic tasting Jamaican food. So happy. Will be a repeat customer. Jerk chicken was yummy, cabbage, rice and peas and plantains. Large amount for a great price. I will just ask for more sauce since they give you that on the side ?Much success to you always.Peace and blessings,Madison“
“Came from Fort Lauderdale, trying to get to know the area. So glad to have come. Across this place, steam fish and ackee rolls were amazing! Drinks were strong! Most important the DJ was such a vibe, I danced all night! Nice clean, fun music. Im glad to know this Gem is in the area when I return. Nice to have upscale Jamaican restaurants.“
“Tasty food, good prices, and friendly service. The lechon asado was like pernil in Puerto Rico. Very delicious. I love getting the fried yucca as well. They do it right. The congris rice was okay, but next time I think I'll stick with yellow rice because the extra calories weren't worth it to me flavorwise. The thin palomilla steak was also tasty, but lacked a bit of salt. Hurricane drink was strong and well prepared. Love it here!“
“I recommended this place 100%I came in with family always eat there and spend over $200 I’d say because I eat there a lot. It’s just the best everything about this place is amazing it feels at home. Come on up and enjoy this amazing cultural cuisine.“
“My husband and I went for a lunch today and it was AMAZING!! It was our 2nd time there. We love this place...we had the jerk chicken quesadilla and rasta pasta. It was wing Wednesday and so we took some home to go. The rum punch and strawberry lemonade were on point. Our server, Ms. Camille C. (who is also the owner...I believe) was down to earth and very attentive. We will definitely be back“
“The food here and customer service is top notch. I go here often for a quick patty n drink for lunch. Today I went and got the jerk chicken and curry chicken… they got it with this meal. Everything tasted so good and perfectly seasoned. They give you a nice amount as well. I was happy with my meal absolutely no complaints. So far this has been the best price and quality wise Jamaican spot in loganville, snellville area. They put the jerk on the side which is perfect and the chicken was made on a grill or smoker it was so good with or without the sauce. The curry chicken was seasoned to perfection and moist. 10/10 thank you for this mealParking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Nothing was spicy and they put the jerk on the side… chicken still taste good without jerkWheelchair accessibility: Flat no steps leading in open space inside“
“I loved it!! It was so authentic and sooo good! If you have open spot on your bucket list definitely come try this place! The collard green and okra sauce and the fish is what we tried and it did not disappoint! It was delicious!!! I will definitely be coming back :)“
“Today was my first time visiting this restaurant. I heard about from a gentleman I know the food was amazing. The best tasting authentic Jamaican food in Lawrenceville. Definitely give it a try I had the jerk pork and jerk chicken mac and cheese everything was delicious.“
“I have been dining at this restaurant since it opened over fifteen years ago. The food is amazing and never disappoints. Miss Jackie and the whole family put love and soul into this Jamaican food. It is so good. My favorite dishes are the oxtails with the rice and peas. And the gravy, then curry chicken and brown stew, chicken and the jerk chicken is also awesome. Every time I go out of town to see my family. They always ask me to bring Caribbean food from Jay's Caribbean Cusine restaurant. I promise you, you will not be sorry.“
“The oxtails with gravy rice and peas cabbage and plantains are great. The jerk chicken is good too. The establishment is clean the owners are actually Caribbean so it’s authentic. They take pride in their food, place, and customer service.“
“Ate here yesterday for the first time and truly enjoyed the food!Oxtails were very good and the cabbage and rice was a winner too!I've also been searching for some desert that reminds me of when my grandmother was around andTHE POUND CAKE WAS AMAZING!!!“
“This is hands down the best, convenient and most affordable Caribbean grocery stops in Loganville, The customer service is extremely warm and friendly from Simone every time and much respect to the owner Dave who ensures there’s every little item to meet your needs…I’ve been going since they open and I highly recommend this place to everyone…“
“I've been to Jamaican Flavors quite a few times, starting in the early days when Terry was personally behind the counter. They have a Yelp offer for 20% off that Terry apparently didn't know was a thing. Years later, the offer is still advertised. I only request it every other trip since I do feel mildly bad asking, but it's kind of their own fault for still having it up at this point.I've ordered the jerk chicken, stew chicken, goat curry, and ox tail. Everything except for ox tail was superb. I didn't quite want to burn the place down like that one disgruntled diner, but I was certainly underwhelmed by the ox tail.Honest to goodness, it's a good restaurant that deserves a lot more praise than it's been given. I keep forgetting about their very reasonably priced lunch specials. If it's really still $5, then it's a steal. Even at $6-7, it'd be a reasonable price for very good Jamaican flavors.“
“Oxtails were amazing!!! Thank you for the great customer service and being greeted upon entry. Will definitely be returning and as I stated we would love to invite y’all to our Juneteenth food truck event. (Food truck not needed) again thank y’all for having amazing food.“
“I’ve been coming here for 14 years. I can attest that this is the best Jamaican restaurant I’ve been to, and it’s affordable. You can get a dinner plate to eat in two sittings for $12. Many restaurants can’t beat the price. It does get busy here sometimes but it’s so worth it! Check it out Atlanta, this is my top recommendation for Jamaican/Caribbean cuisine in the Metro, Ionie’s Caribbean Kitchen!Vegetarian options: There is a separate vegetarian menu where they will cook whatever you desire to order.Dietary restrictions: Whether you eat pork or not, or have other dietary restrictions, the team will be happy to find the right dish for you.Parking: It can get tight here during peak hours, but even during light hours of business, you do have to park a little bit back.Kid-friendliness: The portions here are huge, but if you’re willing to feed your child an adult meal, this is definitely a family friendly spot.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp to access the restaurant.“
