“I used to pass by this place all the time, I finally went with my brother and now I go almost every day. We went on a night that Johnny was playing live for everyone and it was awesome, the food and Johnny's show is excellent! The staff is on point and friendly, I go so much they recognize me when I come in now haha. Def my #1 spot to go and I highly recommend to everyone.“

“To start off this restaurant is located off of the side of 78. It's a cute home/shack establishment and outside is like a cute patio set up with lights and multiple sitting areas. There is a stage as well i guess for live performances. Their menu isn't very big but they have many different options. When I got to the window I was greated with a smile and a welcome, everyone was really friendly. I got the pita with shrimp and fries. The fries I had to buy on the side because they don't come with the meal, only chips and a drink comes with the meal. The pita was really tasty and seasoned well I had to eat it with a fork though because the juices from meat and veggies made the bread a little difficult to pick up. The fries were also seasoned but they were a little tough. All in all I give it an 8/10 I would definitely be back to try other options. The service is a10/10 and you all should definitely come check them out.“

“We've now had a few amazing meals here, the first was not a fluke! Their ceviche is so fresh and delicious. My wife tried the tamale this time and it blew us away. “We celebrated my daughter's birthday at this restaurant. Initially, we didn't expect to enjoy ourselves so much since they had someone they're singing karaoke the whole time. But, this woman threw down on the karaoke machine.She sang every genre you can think of. It was definitely like having live entertainment there. My family and friends and my daughter especially had so much fun at this restaurant.The waitress gave the karaoke singer request and she's sang them perfectly! She had us dancing in our chairs, applauding and everything.Two strangers gave my daughter $20 each for her birthday, she was in shock ? but very happy. One woman told me I was amazing for getting up dancing to take my tip to the karaoke singer.There were 10 people in our party and it was really a great time. The server, the food oh my goodness just some of the best Mexican food I've ever tasted and it came out fast.This was definitely a five star experience that we will never forget.“

“My husband and I came here on a whim, since we were in the area after attending a funeral. From the experience we had, we were very surprised to find the place kinda slow at 5pm on a Sunday. My husband had the jumbo shrimp plate (and they weren’t kidding about the jumbo part), and I had the catfish. I seldom get catfish, but, I’m about to make this my regular place for when I get a craving. The portions were fair for the price, and the taste of both dishes were immaculate. Especially the Mac and Collards. I also had their signature Mojito, and mojitos are always hit and miss for me. It was perfectly made! Sadly I was driving, and couldn’t partake in another. “My husband and I went here for date night. A go to spot for date night. I had the purple voodoo cocktail and my husband had a bloodmary. He said it was on the sweeter side. We had the shrimp and crawfish fondeaux, raw oysters (which were half off when we went), catfish and dirty rice and cheesecake. Everything was great and so was the service. “It's our favorite place for special occasions. Today was our 45th anniversary. The food was awesome, as always. Cole slaw is so good. It has raisins, pumpkin seeds, and poppy seeds in it. Most of all, the service is good, no hovering but magically appears when you need something. Try the crabcake appetizer.“

“My husband and I went for a lunch today and it was AMAZING!! It was our 2nd time there. We love this place...we had the jerk chicken quesadilla and rasta pasta. “We were here for my nieces birthday! Ricardo was our chef and he was so cool! Best time ever! He was very professional and knew when to come in and to back out from a conversation. I think the shrimp was forgotten because it did not come out until 5-7 min after all other entrees (was not very busy at the time).
