“This was my fourth trip to one of these franchises. Each trip was to a different location. This one was the best. I ordered a smoked chicken salad sandwich. It was tasty but I'd skip toasting the bread next time and leave off the tomato. The Egg Salad side was great but I almost ruined it by salting it at the table. The tea was weak and not very sweet.The service at the counter was outstanding. I was greeted immediately and given a great suggestion on how to get chicken salad and egg salad together at the most economical price. My food was brought to my table without much of a wait.“
“I love getting takeout from here. My favorite is the bbq baked potato. I always order it with extra sour cream, which I pay extra for, and they forget it EVERY single time. Not just the extra sour cream. They forget it all together. Butter, too, but I usually have that at home.“
“Wifesave came in clutch during the holidays this year. The staff were super friendly and helped me get my family meal of 20 pc mixed fried chicken, biscuits, and sides ready in a flash. Made to order so it was hot and ready just like we wanted. Will be going back for sure!“
“Wow!! On a recent business trip and looks for a quick and local lunch spot. Tried this place randomly and can’t wait to get back to Augusta!!! So flipping good! Much better than expected and a fantastic value!My wife and puppy were along for the ride so we sat outside and it is nothing exceptional, but it got the job done. Our server was Kaia and she most excellent! Honest about items on the menu and that is always appreciated!I had the chicken sandwich with pimento cheese, my wife had the sandwich with homemade pickles and both were served with fries. The chicken sandwich was EXCEPTIONAL! I eat a LOT of chicken sandwiches, and this one is stuck in my head! It was that damn good! The fries had potential, but they were cool and not fresh. My wife liked their ranch but I was not a huge fan. We got 2 fresh baked cookies to go and again, MOST EXCELLENT!! Our bill was extremely reasonable and we were thrilled with the experience!! The only real negative was the old hostess lady was kind of rude and not who I would want greeting guests…Seriously great chicken sandwich! I hope to have an excuse to be in town again soon! And ask for Kaia, she was great!To those about to dine, I salute you!!“

“Great place for some excellent chicken fingers! The salads looked good too and they have a mac & cheese bowl that I will definitely try next time. Service was good with friendly staff. The restaurant was clean and had good seating. All in all a really good establishment.“
“Augusta native - I’m a fried chicken hunter in the south and The WifeSaver on Furry’s ferry is absolutely the freshest tasting fried chicken anywhere in the south. FYI - Order it hot from the fryer and it’s to die for good! .Service is always excellent . Walt “
“Werecently tried the Fancy Nancy chicken salad, and although it was quite good you might want to slice your grapes beforehand. The huge grapes don't sit well and roll off the cracker. I also don't think a large grape bulging from a sandwich is any better.“
“Great food and great service from friendly and knowledgeable Amanda tonight. We love Edgar's but sometimes the service pace is excruciatingly slow. Tonight it was a perfect pace. And the crème brûlée was one of the best I've had.“
“Wait time for a table is very long. Food is a decent price, I got one of the new menu items, some type of fried French toast with a side of bacon and strawberry syrup along with a cup of sweet tea. In total, for about $11, which isn't a bad price. I would go agin for, but I would get something else next time. The service was great until we tried to ask for the check, which took a while. But other than that, it was a good casual breakfast/lunch spot“
