Heidi House is a quaint, quiet Polish food cafe run by a freindly Polish guy cooking food like Babcia! Tasted like food we grew up with! Its a MUST -TRY for heartwarming Polish soul-food!!
A very small place with great potential with the current owner/operators as of jan02,24. Time for a fresh German makeover! Perfect for couples or small groups. The food is very good. Liquor license is not updated so coke or water. Please clean the windows inside and out!!! Get rid of the long bar and put in more window seating! That bar is big, ugly and useless. Again, the food portions were generous and tasty. Prices are on par for the town. A diamond in the rough for sure.

I specifically went to Helen, GA on a weekend while I was in Blairsville because Heidi Haus is only open on weekends. I was so disappointed when Heidi did not open at noon! I don't know what time they did open, but they were open as I was driving out of town, so I parked the car and got the combination platter to go. I am so glad I did!
