“We came in this afternoon for the first time and had a great experience! Our waiter Bryan was wonderful and he made sure our drinks were always full and that we enjoyed everything. All of the other staff was extremely nice as well. The food was out quickly and everything was above our expectations (especially the chocolate cake). We can't wait to come back!“
“I had the opportunity to visit Bubba Que for the first time this past Saturday evening. This is what I experienced. I came into the restaurant and their were a few ladies near the register. Not a hello or any type of welcoming other than "What can I get you?" I told the young lady that this was my first time at the location and asked what she recommended, ribs or brisket. She told me that they were out of brisket. That made it easy for me to go with a full rack rib plate w/ two sides. My two sides were fries and beans. I went ahead and paid for it and gave near a 20% tip for a take-out order. No less than 2 minutes later, I saw someone with onion rings which made me want those instead of fries. I asked the same young lady if I could change the fries to onion rings and I was advised it would be an upcharge. I told her that would be fine depending on the cost. She said it is normally a dollar upcharge but since I've already paid, it would be $4.00. WHAT???? If I weren't hungry already, I would have cancelled the order. I guess it was too difficult to do an open food charge for $1.00 and ask the cook to drop an order of rings. I told the young lady to disregard. 10 minutes later I received my order. No thank you, no enjoy the food, no have a nice evening, nada, zip, zilch. I had to ask her for some utensils and napkins as there were none in the bag. Perhaps, she was not having a good evening and therefore, I extend a little grace. If this is any indication on how the service is at this location, I'd pass on this restaurant. I will say that the RIBS were awesome. The BEANS were great. The FRIES were good. The SERVICE from the young lady was horrible.“
“Best place to eat for a family owned business! Apple pie is way better than anything you'll get at an orchard, everything is awesome. Mashed taters and brown gravy, fried okra, brisket or sandwich (with cheddar sauce), gotta always have the redneck lasagna, of course bbq, country fried steak. Man now my mouth is watering lol. So glad we live close, Yall give em a try! #Jesuslovesyall“
“Came in on a busy Friday night. Bailey took such great care of us. Made it super personable. We couldn’t decide and did the Boss Hog - the sausage is a shocking surprise! Oh, save room for the desserts - they’re awesome. Love that it is family owned and enjoyed seeing Bryan and Kristi Choate checking on everyone.“
“When I first came here I was told to try the brisket tacos. I’d never tried a brisket taco but I was hoping for something good. I can honestly say, I was amazed on the first bite. My eyes lit up and I began to do my happy dance as deliciousness danced around on my tastebuds. I would highly recommend the brisket tacos to anyone who comes here. Not only is the food amazingly delicious, the staff is amazing. The atmosphere is nice and pleasant, and I’m always greeted with a smile every time I come in. This is definitely a come hungry, leave happy establishment. I am always excited to come by whenever I’m in town and I hope this review helps you become a regular like myself.“
“Atmosphere and service was good. My brisket on my first visit was tougher than I expected. I had a hard time cutting it with my fork, but it was all the end pieces, which I assume has to happen sometime. I wasn't impressed with that part for the price, but the sides were all really good. I'll definitely give it another try before making a final decision in if this is a place my family will frequent. I do love BBQ! And the atmosphere was nice, clean and friendly! My husband enjoyed his meal. Will return to try again.“
