The BBQ is spectacular....as a Chicago native my wife and I have finally found real BBQ. The food was excellent well seasoned, moist, satisfying portions. We ate off our order for 3 days. It was even better the second day. It was so good...excellent fast service. Family owned and I really loved the southern charm of an older home turned restaurant with outside porch eating. Weāve lived in the area for nearly 5 years, and Iāve tried BBQ joints nearby. They were ALL fails. Good BBQ meant having to drive at least 15 to 20 minutes. I Googled āBBQ near meā a few weeks ago just on a whim that something I havenāt tried would pop up, and it surely did! My daughter and I stopped here yesterday and both ordered their rib tips with macaroni and cheese and collards. It did not disappoint! Definitely a hidden gem! Great hospitality large portions and delicious food! Their homemade bbq sauces are great as well i tried the Apple cherry spicy and it had the right amount of kick and sweetness to it!! Will definitely be making this my go to spot.Got the rib tips,Mac and cheese and baked beans!!
