“last sunday i was in a minor car accident outside of the waffle house establishment. luckily it was only a fender bender. due to the “excitement” of the the incident, me and my three year old autistic son decided to get some waffle house to soothe our nerves. upon entering the waffle house i was hit with the most delicious smell of waffles and syrup. my sense were overcame by images of soft waffles drenched in syrup with a side of crunch toast and crispy bacon. i took my seat only to be instantly greeted with a smile. my son joyously sang along to the raisin toast song as it played over the loudspeakers. my waitress, ella, sang along with my son as she took his order. for the past three days my son has been asking when he can see ella again. i ordered the all star meal which was brought to me with haste. the tall blonde fella who cooked my meal made the best all star i’ve ever had. i took a bit of my waffle and gasped. the flavors melted on my tongue. the gooey syrup and soft fluffy waffle had my eyes rolling back in ecstasy. i don’t remember eating my meal due to the speed in which i had consumed it. waffle house, you have gained a new lifelong costumer. i am truly enamored with the gang of teen waffle house employees, the small bald boy, the green haired girl (ella), the petite girl with brown hair (hannah), and the worlds best grill operator.“
“We came in at about 9:00. We sat for a few minutes until jazz came over and told us they were switching shifts and someone would be with us shortly. She went ahead and took our order and got our drinks. She then waited on us the rest of the time as the 3rd shift waitress didn’t show up until 9:50pm. The other waitress on shift with jazz was constantly complaining & talking about how she was leaving the place a wreck & walking out as soon as the girl got there. Jazz on the other hand, was as sweet as could be, not a complaint in sight & I overheard her talking to a guy that I guess had came in this morning & saw her & said “you’re still here!” And she said “yeah a girl called out on second shift so I stayed” so this means jazz had been at work from 7am and she stayed until right at 10pm & had no complaint in the world. She went above & beyond expectations & is the only reason we didn’t get up and leave like we saw 6 other tables do in the course of the 1 hour with no 3rd shift waitress. This Waffle House is missing out on a ton of money due to the lack of staffing, but jazz is incredible & because of her, we will return.“
“Christmas Day! We didn't know that it is their busiest day of the year! There was a line, but they had seats at the bar. We watched as they had 8 griddles going for the waffles. I have never seen so many staff working their stations. A worker was calling out the orders, they were working as fast as they could, on take out orders, call in orders and customers in the restaurant. It was amazing and something to see. Food was great, service was a bit slower than normal, but completely expected. And no one should complain when workers are doing their best! We had a coupon for a slice of pie and we went back the next day to eat again.“
“Brunch time. Seating was quick. Drinks were Tea, Coke & Coffee. The coffee was disgusting, Brown Water. They must have forgotten to put coffee in the coffee, sent that back and had a plain water. Omelets, eggs, pancakes, hash browns were all great. Service was wonderful. 5 stars for food, 0 stars for coffee.It's been awhile since I last had IHOP coffee, I won't bother next time. I'll bring my own next time or go elsewhere.“
“Ate here 2 days in a row and truly enjoyed the food but the customer service was phenomenal! Had "A southern thang" with grits and home fries one day and banana foster stuffed French toast and grits today! Oh and the cherry lemonade is on point!!! Highly recommend checking them out! Wonderful food, wonderful people!“
“I decided to treat myself to breakfast after the gym on New Year's Day. I stopped by and I was one of two parties in the restaurant. I was greeted by the hostess who allowed me to choose anywhere I wanted to sit. I opted to sit by the window so I could see natural light. I love that the ambiance of the restaurant is very warm and welcoming. I was provided with a menu and she told me my server would be with me shortly. My server brought out some hot coffee and was able to provide me with food suggestions upon me asking. I went with her suggestion of the Farmhouse scramble. I chose toast and jam as my side. Within a few minutes, my order was ready and delivered to me. It was very enjoyable and it was a large portion. I was able to take some home and I even decided to order an omelet to take home with me. The omelet was also a good choice. I usually order for pick up but I would definitely come done in more often because I received great service.“
“We went there today at about 330pm. The service was top notch and the guy in the grill was AWESOME!! He made me the best loaded hash browns I've had at Waffle House in 30 years!! Everything was WONDERFUL and I wish I could have afforded to tip them more! Nothing bad to say! We will definitely be back!!Kid-friendliness: My kids are everything on their plates! Which is a rarity.“
“I love that this is one of the few locations that are 24 hours again. I usually go in late night or early morning. As expected, there is not usually a lot of staff during those hours, but they are usually pretty quick considering. The staff is friendly, and my food is always made well and tasty.“
“Upon arriving at this location, it was very crowded, and busy but we were kindly greeted by the manager Byran. He was very professional and displayed top customer service at its finest, I will definitely recommend this location to others also our waitress Amanda Appeared to be alittle tired but displayed a very professional demeanor and was very attentive to our needs the entire time. “My family and I absolutely love First Watch! We will never have breakfast at home on Saturday mornings after our experience here.
