“We finally had the opportunity to try out this restaurant! And it was well worth the wait We ordered the oxtail (well seasoned and cooked to perfection) with rice and peas (the peas were this yummy looking pea that resembled a black eye pea). The plantains were delicious. Can't speak on the cabbage because I don't like cabbage and cabbage doesn't like me !!! The owner/chef named Cherlynn (hopefully that's how she spells her name) was friendly and informative. She told us her food is organic and she gets her meats from a farm in Tennessee (aka farm to table)!! We wanted to try the red snapper, however it's cooked to order (from cleaning to seasoning and preparation)....so remember to call ahead. As for the meat patties they were gone also....so I'll call ahead the next time I return (again and again as long as she chooses to be here)!!! Sorry no pics we devoured the food as soon as we got home!!“
“I did takeout brunch this past weekend and I will definitely be back. First off, I tied calling the restaurant right when it opened at 11am on Sunday and there was no answer. Plus the VM was full. Guess what? They called me back 10 minutes later and I was able to place an order for the blueberry pancakes. These pancakes were worth the wait. Full of fresh blueberries, topped with baked apples, they were amazing! The portion size was generous and I had enough for leftovers the next morning. This was my first visit to Sabores and I'm looking forward to trying dinner next. Or more pancakes, who knows...“
“I would give this a solid 4. I got the lamb curry with traditional African rice cake. The lamb curry had too many potatoes than actual lamb itself which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, the curry tasted pretty good. The African rice cake was very gooey thoogh, not sure if it’s supposed to taste that way. The owner did a pretty good job in packaging the meal for take out which I much appreciate“
“The entire experience here was perfect. The staff is extremely nice and very down to earth. We came in while there were happy hour specials.Everything from the appetizers to the tacos were amazing. The drinks were well made.I overall cannot recommend this place enough.“
“I love this place. The atmosphere is beautiful. The music gets you in the mood. The ladies were very pleasant and sweet as pie. And the food OMG I had to pull over cause it was so darn good. I ate in the car. The feels, top tier. ❤️?️“
“When I pass by I saw a line of people so I figured it was pretty good. When my good friend took me to eat I was pleasantly surprised. The plantains was the best I've had and oh my God the cabbage was off the chain. The smoke meat was perfect however the rice was a little undercooked. I would definitely recommend this place. The best side of the road jerk chicken joint to date“
“I really recommend this place the food is so good. The service is amazing. Great customer service and food. The workers are soo nice and got me my food earlier than expected. It is also a nice hangout spot with good music and great people. I highly recommend this Juicy’s Jerk.“
“Your taste buds will sing! So glad we visited my friend’s new spot. I dove into my curry goat with peas & rice, plantains and spinach. Ooooh the spinach…it will ruin you for all others! The curry was so warm and savory, the perfect comfort food. There were no left overs despite the generous portions. My fiancée had jerk chicken. Let’s just say he wasn’t sharing. We will both be sleeping well with full bellys tonight.Wheelchair accessibility: Spacious dining area with room to maneuver a power chair and dine comfortably.“
“I swear Toni , made my experience the best!! If you go here make sure to request Toni and she will definitely take care of you and provide you with phenomenal service ?. The food wings and the Alfredo is good, the drinks are good . so a great vibe all together, but big thanks to Toni overall !“
“The jerk chicken was amazing! I often have to physically go to Jamaica to get jerk chicken that good. This is my new favorite place for authentic Jamaican food.PS. I love the poster on the wall listing all the accomplished Jamaicans in various industries. I love the pride they have in their people! I'll be back for another jerk meal with a pink "Ting" on the side!“
