The cobalt blue chairs w/ accented red patterns made for a nice feel with a slightly western edge. I also appreciated the baristas professionalism. Plus my iced latte was great, especially considering it was made with plant-based milk. Sometimes soy, almond, or oatmilk lattes can feel a bit thin to taste, but not this one. I enjoyed every sip. I was filled up for $14.The food was a bit slow for mostly empty tables and the server initially priced my meal at over $20. I told her it wasn't right and I was charged $3 for the hash browns which should have came with the meal and $4 for the egg instead of the $2 listed on the menu. The manager was nice and corrected it with a $2 discount.Can't wait to come back for take out!“

It's a bit small inside for how busy it was when we were there, but luckily a table opened up right when we got our food. Coffee was solid. “I've had Scofflaw beer before but have never been to their brewery. Located in the West Midtown area, we made a hike here but thought was worth it. It was a super cold afternoon so there was virtually no one hanging outside. Their outdoor area had a big tv screen, bocce set up, basketball and tons of tables. Would make a perfect hang out spot once the weather warms up. They had tons of tables inside as well and the center of the public area of the brewery is where you can order your beer. As I don't really drink, they had options of hot cocoa and hot cider where I ordered the cider. They also had bags of snacks like chips or cookies for $1. They had a few TV screens inside as well. People here are super friendly. Will definitely come back here just to hang out once it gets warmer again.“

“Wonderful! We stopped in for a Friday night dinner and it was great start to finish. One of my favorite rib places back home was out of ribs last week and I’ve been craving them ever since. The stockyard did not disappoint and I went for the full rack and was glad I did. My wife had the steak frites. My ribs fell off the bone and pretender, and I liked that there were different wet sauces to choose from to put on them. I had the apple butter barbecue sauce and loved it. I got the bourbon glaze to dip my fries in though and it was also delicious. The service was fantastic from the point we were greeted coming in the door to the time that we left. Jania took really good care of us and was personable and made some great recommendations. The manager also stopped by twice the first time to discuss the flight of beers and to make some recommendations on which order to drink them in. He also stopped by to check in on us and to talk a little more after we had gotten our food. I really appreciate when staff will chat with me, make recommendations, and seem to enjoy their job. Is a great place and I would recommend it to anyone stopping by. The only thing that I noticed that could use some updating was that the upholstery on the booth was pretty worn out and cracking. Other than that, the atmosphere was great, and had it been slightly warmer. We would’ve loved it sitting out on the nice patio.“

“Where to begin...this will be a long review, so, sorry in advance. Our experience with The Marietta Local began when I reached out to them regarding catering for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Since then, we have nothing but positive things to say. We have been dealing mainly with the owner, Jim, who has been extremely accommodating to us. Every phone call, meeting, etc. he has been our point of contact, which I feel like is rare. Before we even fully committed to Marietta Local for our catering, Jim invited us into the restaurant for a meal and told us to try whatever we wanted. We were not disappointed! We had meatloaf, nashville hot chicken, grits, quinoa salad, collard greens, plus a couple more items that I cannot recall at this time -- everything we had was spectacular! We were served quickly and the staff was so pleasant. We got to sit down with the chef, Emily, and talk through our menu preferences, and she assured us the one thing we would not have to worry about is our food, she had it all under control; which, for anyone who has ever planned a wedding and knows the stress, this was so re-assuring to us. I cannot say enough good things about Emily. She is an incredible human and an even better chef.That same visit, we got to meet Jim in person. His personality is infectious. You can tell he is genuinely so proud of his restaurants and I think that shows in the food and service they put out. While our wedding events are not until this weekend, 3/15-16, I can truthfully say I do not have a single concern about our food, but will definitely write another review or edit this one, post-wedding. I cannot wait for our family and friends to try everything that we have planned with The Marietta Local!TLDR; service and food is 10/10, whether it is catering or breakfast/lunch dine-in. Today I wanted hot lemon pepper which they don’t have on the menu but I asked to see if I could get it still. I mean it’s it’s the right amount of heat but it’s not going to have you gasping for air. I get my wings for that extra crunch and then add the sauce on top. SOOOOO GOOD“

So i called and instead of just apologizing and Puting my name on the list to get when i ordered next time around. Carzell himself delivered the yams to my house stating “if he messed up the order he was going to fix it.” I was highly impressed and they have earned my business indefinitely!“

Both were delicious and hit the spot. The quality of both the tea and the bubbles (tapioca pearls) was good and pretty much on par with what I've come to expect over the years at Kung Fu Tea's Doraville location on Buford Highway (the best Kung Fu Tea location in metro Atlanta, in my opinion).I think it's great that The Battery has some solid bubble tea. This was my first time getting a Milk Cap drink hot. I'm not sure I'd do it again unless it was really cold outside or something. The drink was very hot and it maintained its scalding temperature for quite a while. Kung Fu Tea's "Milk Cap" series is the same as what other bubble tea shops might describe as "cream cheese foam," etc. It's a thick, kind of salty, cream layer on top of the drink. I like it. The hot version I had here was more subtle than the versions I've typically gotten on iced drinks, simply because it melted into my hot Winter Melon Tea. Decent flavor all around.Our friends got an Oolong Milk Tea (medium, $4.85) with bubbles (+$0.65) and a hot Oolong Milk Tea (large size only, $5.65).While this Kung Fu Tea is just a small stall inside Ph'east, about 70 different drinks and 12 different toppings were packed onto the menu during our visit. I thought service was great. There were only two workers and despite a busy after-dinner crowd, they kept the line moving. The four of us didn't have to wait long for our orders. The staff was polite and efficient.Parking at The Battery is free for the first 3 hours on non-event/Braves game days and the first 2 hours on event/Braves game days. For Kung Fu Tea, I recommend parking in the Purple Deck. Kung Fu Tea and Ph'east are in the same building as the Purple Deck. The Red Deck across the street works well too. "Battery Purple Deck" and "Battery Red Deck" should pop up in your navigation app (Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps).“
