“The service and ambiance were amazing. I came alone and Heather made me feel comfortable, I did the full axe throwing for the full hour and almost master it. Amber was amazing at the bar, kept an interesting conversation and kept me feeling comfortable. A fun and yet relaxing place. I highly recommend.“
“We had the corned beef hash, waffle and chicken, and burger. I was lucky enough to try my daughter's waffle and chicken. Both were delicious, the chicken texture and flavor was delicious ?. The corned beef hash knocked my socks off! Highly recommend it! The grits were scrumptious and eggs cooked right!Didn't get a chance to try the burger maybe next time. The process of ordering and sitting down is kind of chaotic. We almost left because of that situation. I'm glad we stayed though. They do not have a kids menu which sort of sucks for parents.“
“I stopped in here for my first visit today. I’ve been wanting to come here for a while, and it certainly lived up to my expectations. I had salmon with the Thai Stir Fry Bowl and a strawberry matcha latte with oat milk.Everything was flavorful and delicious, but my server Susana made my experience. She was very pleasant and checked in with me and reinforced my interest in this quaint, cool spot in the heart of Marietta.I also loved the natural light and coziness of the small side room where I ate my meal. It wasn’t super busy and a great place to spend some time to myself on my day off. I’m glad I came and look forward to my next visit!“
“This is a lovely neighborhood donut shop and also serves breakfast sandwiches. By the time I left they had a line to the door, so they are well-loved by the community. The interior was filled with gorgeous house plants and had booth seating to enjoy your snacks. The donuts were a little too sweet for my preference, but if you have a real sweet tooth you'll love it! Check out their "pine cone" specialty that's kept in a countertop case.Kid-friendliness: They had plenty of food and beverage selections that kids would love.“
“My wife and I took the pizza class this morning. Learned a how to stretch the dough without tearing for a good thin crust, putting on sauce and cheese. Johnny also focused on the baking in the oven to get a bubbly fully cooked crust with a perfectly cooked bottom. I was putting too much flour on my peel and wasn’t getting the bottom char I wanted. Made my best pizza. Will still be buying my pizza there but from time to time will make our own. Have to admit my wife -who has never made pizza- outbaked me so it remains to be seen if I have been replaced. Great class, lots of fun. Will probably take again as a refresher.“
“Definitely. One of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta area, the food is great. The customer service is great. I love the atmosphere and the lighting as well. My favorite dishes are the lamb chops the rib eye. Crab cakes and of course the cheesecake.?“
“I finally decided to stop and get coffee and a muffin, after driving past Jacobs Java. The coffee was great! Marq Jacobs, the owner of the café, roasts his own beans. The patio was the perfect spot to eat, drink, and unwind. I will be back to try the Chicago lunch offerings that Marq offers. If you live in the Terrill Mill/Powers Ferry area, or commute through it, stop and support a local business.“
“Just tried the "Cherry Bomb!" for the first time and it is absolutely decadent! Super great beers and super great environment. Best brewery in the area by leaps and bounds. Stopped by to get some work done, and I'll definitely keep coming. Staff are friendly and welcoming and there's plenty of space to find a quiet little spot to do some work away from home. 10/10“
“We visited Tuesday + Coffee Shop after completing a notary appointment in Marietta. We were warmly greeted and the customer service was excellent. We had a regular coffee, a Flat White and a slice of the orange cardimon loaf. Everything was delicious! I will definitely visit again soon.“
“We really liked a lot about this place. The ambiance for one. The food is fresh and delicious. Prices are fair. Bar service was slow. Only thing I was surprised with they charged us to use our credit card. It was only $5-6 but it’s truly the principle.“
“My husband and I wanted a romantic little place to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary and I am so glad we chose Silla Del Toro. We did not have reservations, but they got us seated quickly at the sweetest little table for two. Complimentary champagne to start, then the most delicious selection of tapas, ending with a scrumptious slice of cheesecake and white sangria. The experience was perfect! Thanks so much to Sean, Jacob, and the rest of the incredible staff. We will be back!“
“I’ve lived in the area for years but just noticed the restaurant recently. We decided to order for dinner on a Friday evening, and placed our order online. The online order went smoothly and our food was ready when we arrived at the drive thru. I ordered the blackened catfish platter and my fiancé ordered the crispy catfish platter. Our food tasted incredible! The blackened catfish was delicious, the okra was crispy and the hush puppies were some of the best I’ve ever had. I paired my food with a side of green beans that were cooked perfectly ?Can’t believe we’ve missed out on this place for so long, but we will be back for sure.“
“We rented out a space here for our rehearsal dinner last week and it was awesome! Gabby, their event coordinator, was really easy to work with. The space was great and perfect for a casual event. Plus the beers and cocktails were delicious!“
“We go here all the time and it it typically Great food and service! Great cocktails, tacos, quesadillas and the avocado egg rolls are a must. My only complaint is when there is a wait when the restaurant is half empty. Overall, great spot and better than the other locations IMO.“
“First time at this place, and the price of the drinks are full filling, nice setting, lots of cider to choose from, there is plenty space to sit, and you could also bring your dog. ,,(I'm not fan of but...) you can order your ubereats meal there& have some drinks and chill, it gets crowded on Saturday but it's a vibe, , ooh the waiter was very pleasant.Plenty of parking“
“very cute! You can order at the window outside or go indoors for plenty of seating options. This would be a great place to meet up with friends, get some work done, or just grab a drink/bite to go. There is a bar for alcoholic options and a bunch of great food choices. We had the biscuit with sauce and daily frittata and they were delicious! Highly recommend!“
“Really fantastic spot! Service was very good. You order at the counter and then seat yourself. It's a bit small inside for how busy it was when we were there, but luckily a table opened up right when we got our food. Coffee was solid. I got the egg and sausage breakfast pastry and it was phenomenal. The best sausage I've ever eaten in my entire life. Pastry was perfect, eggs and cheese so delicious with the sausage. Would definitely come again to try the pies.“
“I didn’t eat, but what a fabulous spot. The cocktails were exceptional, and the service was also exceptional. The atmosphere makes me happy and wanting to go back again. They also have a mini camper outside that is a sweet spot for up to 6-7 people. Great spot to visit in Marietta- I highly recommend this establishment for a stop .“
“I cannot say enough positive things about Glover Park Brewery. We hosted our wedding here in the upstairs taproom event space. The event coordinators, Katie and Madeline, from start to finish were so incredible. They were so helpful and responsive, and the event space is just absolutely stunning! We were treated so kindly by everyone both up and downstairs and had the most perfect night thanks to their help! If you are wanting to host an event or just go for some beverages, absolutely make Glover Park your go to!!! We can’t wait to go back and visit! ?“
“Great for a night out with the husband, boyfriend, or friends! Literally on the square! Great place to try new beers and have great conversations! I suggest asking for Sam as your server!Vegetarian options: Has meat of course but does have some clearly labeled vegetarian options! Not the most I’ve seen but has a few!“
“This is a nice little local pub/bar. I watched the Superbowl here with a friend of mine on Sunday. Not too crowded and everyone was friendly. They had some free snacks for the game, which were nice but we also got wings which were pretty good. Good people, good atmosphere, I will definitely be returning, thanks for a great evening!“
“Some of the best snowballs this side of Louisiana, wait...it IS Louisiana! It takes me home every time I go there. It's a shame it's only a seasonal ultra snowball stand. Come on March, hurry up and get here! It is a 3 times a week- on the way home from work-stop and slurpy cold goodness is mine! It is the best habit I could have!Kid-friendliness: There is the cutest little outdoor seating area to the side to sit and enjoy your snowball with 2 toss bean bag games and plastic play toys for toddlers.“
“It's all about the Birria! And the amazing margaritas...and...and...so many great choices on the menu. But definitely recommend Birria flautas with consomme (I forget the menu name) for dipping). The margarita flight is amazing, as is the Marietta Marg.“
“This was my second time here. Consistent, delicious. Great group of people working here that are super friendly and take care of everything you need. It's very cozy on the inside and smells amazing. There are a couple of booths as well as table seating. Highly recommend the sausage and peppers with pasta as well as the chicken Parm. But my favorite will always be cheese pizza.“
“I had very good ice cream here and the service was great. A young man served me I think his name was Evan and he was very kind and got my ice cream quick. The bathroom is very clean and the place was tidy. Lots of seatings and kind staff like Evan.“
“Stopped in for Hot chocolate on a cold evening since It was too cold for icecream and the service was amazing. The young girl at the register was friendly and upbeat. She mad it with warm milk, so it was very tasty, the girls loved it.Only wish they played holiday music over some.speakers or a bluetooth to male it feel more holiday-ish. Still overall Its still an amazing spot in the square!“
“Seriously this might be one of the few places in Atlanta that has consistent wings. The first flavor I tried was lemon pepper, extra wet and I mean it was amazing and very flavorful. Today I wanted hot lemon pepper which they don’t have on the menu but I asked to see if I could get it still. I mean it’s it’s the right amount of heat but it’s not going to have you gasping for air. I get my wings for that extra crunch and then add the sauce on top. SOOOOO GOOD“
“I stopped in to try something besides Starbucks and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the Creme Brulee Iced Latte and a Coffee Cake Muffin. Both were absolutely amazing and a great pick me up. The muffin was a large portion and was warmed for a fresh out the oven feel. The latte was not overly sweet and had great depth. Definitely give them a try when you can!“
“Lockdown BBQ catered my companies Thanksgiving meal. People couldn’t stop talking about the incredible taste of the food. They arrived on time and set up all with a friendly smile. The turkey was the star of the show. Juicy and delicious. Please go support this amazing business!“
“Where to begin...this will be a long review, so, sorry in advance. Our experience with The Marietta Local began when I reached out to them regarding catering for both my rehearsal dinner and wedding reception. Since then, we have nothing but positive things to say. We have been dealing mainly with the owner, Jim, who has been extremely accommodating to us. Every phone call, meeting, etc. he has been our point of contact, which I feel like is rare. Before we even fully committed to Marietta Local for our catering, Jim invited us into the restaurant for a meal and told us to try whatever we wanted. We were not disappointed! We had meatloaf, nashville hot chicken, grits, quinoa salad, collard greens, plus a couple more items that I cannot recall at this time -- everything we had was spectacular! We were served quickly and the staff was so pleasant. We got to sit down with the chef, Emily, and talk through our menu preferences, and she assured us the one thing we would not have to worry about is our food, she had it all under control; which, for anyone who has ever planned a wedding and knows the stress, this was so re-assuring to us. I cannot say enough good things about Emily. She is an incredible human and an even better chef. That same visit, we got to meet Jim in person. His personality is infectious. You can tell he is genuinely so proud of his restaurants and I think that shows in the food and service they put out. While our wedding events are not until this weekend, 3/15-16, I can truthfully say I do not have a single concern about our food, but will definitely write another review or edit this one, post-wedding. I cannot wait for our family and friends to try everything that we have planned with The Marietta Local!TLDR; service and food is 10/10, whether it is catering or breakfast/lunch dine-in. This spot is a must try!Edited to say: our rehearsal and reception food was out of this world good!! We have gotten so many texts telling us the food was some of the best they have ever had! Absolutely use Marietta Local for your catering needs!!! I cannot sing enough praise for the entire team.“
“First time. I had tea ? ? and the most yummiest snickers cheese cake ? ?.Alot of options but that cheese cake was truly amazing. The funny part is I never liked cheesecake but this changed my perspective.I wish the bathroom wasn't so far down the hall ?Parking: It was difficult to find parking“
“Gluten free wraps and buns available! The fries are yummy steak fries with no coating and I asked for no seasoning. The wings are a decent size too and lots of great flavors! They have bands playing at times. Check the website!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns and wraps“
“Basecamp at Kennesaw Mountain restaurant exceeded all expectations! ?️ The Nashville hot chicken dish was an absolute flavor explosion - perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of heat to tantalize the taste buds. Each bite was a culinary adventure! But what truly sets this establishment apart is the exceptional customer service. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was nothing short of extraordinary. Attentive, friendly, and genuinely passionate about their craft, they elevated our meal to a whole new level. Whether you're a local or just passing through, Basecamp at Kennesaw Mountain restaurant is a must-visit for foodies and adventurers alike. 5 stars without a doubt And as a Nashville native I can say this was the best“
“Stopped by for a mid week break on Taco Tuesday and ordered many of the taco options! My son loved the kale and mushroom taco! The fish taco was just right and I really liked the grilled chicken! The decor, with the License plates and lyrics to cool songs along with vintage signs, completed the experience. Fun time for the entire family!“
“I went to a surprise party that was held downstairs. It was perfect! Our bartender, Taco, was amazing. She sang and danced with us, also had our drink orders ready in a timely manner. The food was great, too! We had beef empanadas, chicken empanadas, cheese empanadas, and also spinach cheese mushroom empanadas. There were a few other appetizers that I’d never heard of and it was all very delicious!!! Would love to go back and have a sit down meal. Highly recommend!“
“Went for lunch- guac and salsa were delicious. Skinny margarita and two tacos (shrimp and brisket). Far less crowded and noisy than similar places. Terrific and reasonable priced lunch date spot! Highly recommend. Looking forward to trying out the patio!“
“Chicken fingers were the tenderest that I can ever remember having - juicy and melt-in-your-mouth! I got the fries with Parmesan/Parsley - fries were light and delicious, and the topping made it so awesome! I get chicken fingers/fries at different drive-thrus off and on. This was a whole different experience! Order-taker lady was friendly and helpful, and brought my food over to me since I was on the phone when the “ready” text came thru….thank you for great food and service! I’ll be back!“
“Ohhhhhh Emmmmm Geeeee! This is our THIRD time here. Me .... una Californiana and my husband ... un Mexicano auténtico... LOVE the selection especially THE SEAFOOD. The service is friendly, prompt, authentic, food tastes fresh and they have SOME JAMMIN' frozen margaritas that are slushy and strong. Ayyyyy queeee rrrrrrrico!!!! EVEN the crab legs taste good. Tonight they have the nerve to hav a DJ that knows 80's R&B party music to today's reggaeton o lo que tu quieres!!! We come all the way from the "Upper Westside" of ATL.The booths/tables could use some refinishing or replacing. But the decor is colorful and authentic.Vegetarian options: I got the veggie fajita witj more spinach and no broccoli ...it's absolutely delicious.Parking: Great parking well lit right out front.“
“More than anything else, I loved the sweet note on my latte. It's a good place for being heads down, the team camaraderie is fun, and there are a lot of bakery items to choose from. It's a little pricey but considering the environment, it's worth it. Although this place probably wouldn't be a place to take kids to considering the quiet space.“
“The food is great but our experience this past Friday (04/29) was not good. We had the sweetest waitress that was actually a hostess who was helping the staff take orders etc. We noticed the sign on the door indicating staffing shortages, etc. so we made sure to be extra patient with the staff. Our order was taken but never showed up to our table. We waited about an hour and a half and the waitress came over and told us that our food order never made it to the back of the kitchen. We thanked her for letting us know and we left. She apologized with tears in her eyes. The staff here had a frustrating night. While this one experience is not the norm, what worries me is the entire evening I never saw a manger circling tables ensuring things are being addressed. While I realize that times are tough, where is the customer service? Where is the manager who should be managing these types of issues? If you can't take orders and fulfill them I suggest letting customers know. A sign in the door asking for patience is not enough. Manage the workload. Don't just continue to take orders you can't fulfill with the staff you have. Please do better for your staff and your customers. Customers will far more respect, being told up front that you can't take an order due to staffing shortages than they will with just being frustrated by over promising and under delivering. We've had great service in the past. I'm hoping the management of this restaurant will step up and correct customer service experience on nights when they are in a bind.“
“My wife and I have been coming here for over 2 years! The cocktails are always great and the wood fire pizza is the best in town. No matter how much we try to stay away we always keep coming back for the great staff and food. If you're in the Meristra square definitely stop by! -J&“
“Decided to try this little French bakery right off the square and I was not disappointed! Our server, Ellie, was very knowledgeable and helped us find the best things to try. Everything was absolutely delicious and if you have a sweet tooth like me, try the truffle latte!“
