The Cinnamon roll is the best I have ever tasted...my whole family agreed. The breakfast sandwiches on biscuits and the jalapeno chedder bread were amazing as well. It is a strange restaurant set up but we can easily overlook that with delicious food and the nice ladies working there. We don't live in the area but will definitely come back!
Over the past two years I have tried biscuits at every place I can find within 10 miles of Jasper. Finally made it to Mary's and am happy to say they are the best biscuits around. What makes a good biscuit? Warm, slight crunch on outside and soft and light on the inside. Moist and a little salty for taste. The thickness needs to be proportional to the filling. Mary's has great fresh baked breads, nice breakfasts and very good sandwiches. We had the club, the Reuben, and the Mary's Favorite, a pimiento cheese sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bread. The place is cute and the service is friendly. Located just outside Big Canoe, it is a convenient place to grab sandwiches for lunch.
