“Mary's has great fresh baked breads, nice breakfasts and very good sandwiches. We had the club, the Reuben, and the Mary's Favorite, a pimiento cheese sandwich on jalapeño cheddar bread. The place is cute and the service is friendly. Located just outside Big Canoe, it is a convenient place to grab sandwiches for lunch.“

I have no affiliation whatsoever with this restaurant.That said, I can say my wife and I have eaten here on several occasions. We have had both breakfast and lunch.The cafe itself is very nice. It has a relaxed and casual atmosphere. The music is well chosen and not overly loud.The servers have all been extremely friendly and good at what they do.The food has been very good and the prices are more than fair, especially considering the economic times we find ourselves in.This is my honest and unbiased opinion of this cafe and obviously we will go back. I also agree with another reviewer that it’s important to support our local small business owners and I hope all reading this will give Foothills Cafe a chance.“

“Excellent ice cream place in rural north Georgia, next to the Big Canoe community. Very friendly staff. The have a $10 hotdog combo - quarter pound hot dog, drink, bag of chips, and an ice cream cone. Best deal for 30 miles in any direction.“
