Really enjoy my experience every time I visit. Food is awesome and the price is great.
The new owners Kevin and Shu have always been the heart and soul of this restaurant and now they get to fully shine. Kevin is an awesome sushi chef and puts TLC in every roll. Shu is sweet and warm and always has a smile when you walk in. Oscar works the hibachi, is hilarious, and still remembers the boy my daughter brought there once. The food is awesome but the people make Asahi which is why we love it so much.
The food is always excellent! And so is the service. I’ve been coming here over 15 years! My first time back during pandemic. Was great to see some of the familiar faces and be welcomed back with the greatest service ever! So excited for Kevin and Shu! And always a treat to see Oscar!

Atami Grill Sushi- East Cobb offers a lunch special that is incredible, with portions the same as dinner yet half priced. The food is always delicious and fresh, including beef bulgogi, small salmon roll, spring roll, soup, gyoza, and salmon rolls. The atmosphere is similar to the restaurant that was there previously, with a Star Wars tapestry. Service is awesome, with a very kind and friendly server who goes the extra mile. The hibachi chef is hilarious and makes the whole experience fun for kids. Takeout is packaged carefully and arrives fresh, with rolls holding their shape. The restaurant recently added bubble tea to the menu, now a must-order drink. Happy hour and half off on Wednesday are available.
