I took my family there yesterday evening for dinner. We were highly UNSATISFIED with the lack of food options they had on the bar. The little food that was there, was cold, had little to no taste, and the meat was tough. (Beef tips was the only meat on the bar.) The worst part was that my kids were so unhappy and wouldn't eat their food, so we ended up going nextdoor and got them sandwiches from Firehouse. We/I will never be going back to Judy's.

I'm not sure what's going on here, the first time, the eggs were hard, the bacon Greasy, overall mediocre even forsix bucks a plate. I went back to check it out again to see if anything improved They had a new cook, everything was warm to hot and delicious. It was a great experience. I come back the following weekend and the cook is gone and I've got somebody from Lord knows where he probably never has eaten breakfast in his country, and had absolutely no grasp on a country breakfast. The grits obviously were cooked in Coldwater. Eggs hard, French toast petrified, a quarter inch skin across the gravy, and cold biscuits. I don't know what you think about this place any longer. I guess if you wanna good country buffet Breakfast go to the Golden Corral The place is gotten worse, they have absolutely no idea how to cook a southern or a American breakfast

This is a good place for a lunch buffet and reasonably priced. Their fried catfish (not served on all days) is very good. Not all items are great, but there is plenty to choose from. I have been there multiple times, with family, and will go back again.

Judy's Country Kitchen is easy to find, near Sprayberry in the Corners Shopping Center (Post Oak Tritt & Sandy Plains Rd). Every day has a special, so I stopped in for Friday's lunch featuring fried catfish. The salad bar was fresh, with lots of variety (both greens and favorites such as potato salad, macaroni salad and coleslaw). The hot bar had mashed potatoes, corn, collards, yams, mac & cheese, and green beans. Everything was hot and fresh. The hush puppies were hot and not greasy. Although the price ($8) seemed a little steep for lunch, it included tea/coffee and tax. The wait staff was friendly, the tables & bathrooms were clean, and there was lots of parking in the shopping center. Judy's Country Kitchen is open 11-9 Monday through Saturday.
Not open for breakfast
