Went to the drive thru at about 10:45pm and got in line as the 5th car. Twenty minutes later, it was our turn to order. Before we ordered, the drive thru cashier told us that they have a 5 item limit. Not a 5 person limit. And a combo with meal, side, and drink counts as 3. We had 5 people in the car who've waited for 20 minutes and we can order 1 single thing a piece... otherwise we'd have to circle around and order the rest? So if each of us ordered a combo, we'd have to make 3 trips through the drive thru.I just couldn't figure it out. I've worked fast food and drive thru before. I understand being short staffed and running out of food. It happens. But to put a limit on number of items ordered? At first I thought it was so they could be efficient and get the food out fast enough. But that couldn't have been it because they were so slow getting just that out. Other option could have been they were running out and decided to try to stretch what they had by limiting, but that's a horrible strategy. Just go til you run out and then just say you're out.Anyway, I haven't been to Del Taco in forever. I will never visit this one again, I'll spread word to warm others to never visit this place. I'll also probably continue to avoid Del Taco altogether.

Ordered a steak taco salad, and this is the result. Guacamole looks like baby throw up, if that’s even accurate. I mean who thought, “This is it,” when scooping the guacamole on the salad? Gross and a food and safety hazard for guests. If they’re willing to sell someone this, imagine what they do with the rest of their food. I will never eat at a Del Taco again.

The tacos here are a million times better than Taco Bell. The bean burrito is great if you add onions and sour cream but hold the sauce. I'm just not a fan of the sauce. I love the mild sauce at taco bell. I have figured out that's why I don't like del taco as well as taco bell on other things. It's the sauce.The taco here is the absolute main thing to get.

Just stopped by (4 PM) and found out that the business was closed because not enough employees showed up to work. The one employee that was there stated the next employee wouldn't be there until 5 PM. This is the second time this has happened to my wife and I while traveling from Florida to Tennessee. Maybe they should pay more than $12 an hour to get enough employees.

Very poor customer service manager very rude. I ordered tacos last night and when I got home the tacos was hard and old. So I called and ask to speak to the manager and I asked about returning the food and have it make fresh. The manager said they aren’t allowed to give away food or give a refund. I said you’re not giving away food you are replacing my old tacos with new ones. The manager was very rude and hanged the phone up on me and wouldn’t answer the phone when I tried to call back numerous times. Del Taco has lost a longtime customer. I guess it’s hard to find good help nowadays. Very disappointed I’ll take my business elsewhere l. Where there is good customer service that takes care of their customers.

I’ve never taste tacos so horrible in my entire 50 years on this planet. I ordered the two taco combo, which supposed to come with fries and a drink. Somehow the workers forgot to put the fries in my bag. This was one time I failed to check my bag before I pulled away from the drive-through window. This place would never get another penny of my money.

Every time I eat at Del Taco the food quality and consistency of authority never fails. This location on the West side of McDonough Georgia has a very slow service and the people there need to speed it up. Especially when they weren't busy there were no customers inside the dining room and there was only 2 people in the drive up myself and the car behind me. There were no other customers at the drive up pick up window before me when I arrived.

Bad customer service and Lazy workers I arrived at the drive thru on 2/29/24 at 10:30 pm to place a order. And non of the workers are doing their job. Three other cars including me had to drive away. Because nobody is attending the drive thru. I can clearly see the workers slacking off inside. What is a toddler doing inside the kitchen at this hour, this is a restaurant not a daycare.

I ordered on the mobile app and when I arrived to pick up I was waiting in the drive thru for 20min and only one car was in front of me. Honestly I wasn’t even mad at the wait because I was hungry and used to work in fast food so I understand the struggles of running a fast food restaurant. When I came home I realized I never received my 4 drinks, so I had to come back. And even then I wasn’t going to complain because the manager was so polite when she came to the window. But when I got home and me n my family was eating my wife almost choked on an entire avocado pit that was found tucked into one of the burritos. Literally hidden deep in the burrito. I am highly upset and disappointed, I live close to this restaurant and order from here a lot but now idk if I should continue. Honestly this was my worst Del Taco experience. And I took pictures but it’s not giving me the option to upload them, probably because I’m using my phone. Whoever made the guacamole needs to be retrained.

So many other comments about dining room being closed, and here is another. Doors locked at 11 am on Thursday, no signs as to why but one rude employee came out and said drive-thru only, I asked why when the hours say they are supposed to be open. All I got from him was “drive-thru only” guy clearly didn’t want to be there. Also looked like they are running a day care inside while keeping paying customers out. Pretty pathetic. Then another employee came out to invite us in , but it was too late. Not a single employee could give a reason as to why the dining area was closed.
