Most sophisticated interior of any McDonough restaurant, a pleasure just to enjoy the decorand the very well-appointed bar area. Excellent service, especially our server, Belle. The menu is not large, but has all the essentials for good meals. Everything we tried was good substantial food, from the fried green tomatoes to the bourbon pecan pie. Highly recommend the experience of enjoying the ambience and the food.

We have been wanting to try PJ'S for a while now. Decided to try it for quick dinner during the week day. Location of the restaurant is excellent. They must have got a good price because they are sitting on prime real-estate in the heart of McDonough Square. The restaurant decor is dated, but the staff is friendly. Food is not bad. I gave this review four stars because while the food and service were great, the live entertainment was not. The music was so loud that my husband and I had to raise our voices throughout dinner just to hear each other across the table. Besides the volume, we could not discern the words to any of the songs the musician was singing. It was just a constant annoyance while trying to enjoy our meal.
