“We love Papa Bucks and make a point to eat every time we are in town. Stopped by Monday around 4pm because on Trip Advisor said open 7 days a week - 11am to 9pm. Which surprised us because had always been closed on Sunday and Monday. The door said open with hours 11am to 8pm. But they were closed. We did get to come back Tuesday and enjoyed our meal as usually. Waitress informed us they are now closing at 3:00pm on Mondays.“
“The food is great if you go when they actually have some. I have driven almost 2 1/2 hours away on 3 different occasions for them to be out of everything but pulled pork and chicken. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I don’t understand why it’s not even dinner time and you aren’t making more food. You may as well just close. Or it would have been nice if there was a note on the door but they don’t tell you until after you get your drink order.“
“Great place to meet up with friends & family. The food & service are really good. Restaurant has a nice atmosphere & is clean. I do feel their prices are low compared to other restaurants. I end up paying more at fast food restaurants where the quality doesn't even compare to that of Baby CJs. Baby CJs is one of my family's favorite places to dine in.“
“Jomax is our must stop for lunch when traveling back from Savannah/SSI. Honestly can't speak to their bbq because we always get the "Lunch Special". Fried chicken like your grandma made, amazing fried squash, black-eyed peas, etc. Yum!“
