“We wanted a pulled pork sandwich and found Munchies. Everything we got was wonderful-pulled pork, oxtails, collards, baked beans, green beans, potato salad, and key lime cake! All that and it was affordable. So much food we couldn’t eat it all so we’ll have leftovers later. They were friendly as well. We’ll be back to try some of the other items.“

“Really good smoked BBQ. These guys are pro's. Highly ranked for a reason. They have several sauce choices and all are great but the ribs and pork need no sauce at all.I give atmosphere 3 stars only because that's not what they do. A very nice quiet place, tv's to catch the local sports and a couple tables out front, not scenic but great if you like to chat with locals and tourists.I highly recommend Wileys if your in Savannah, Tybee area.“

“My first time patronizing this restaurant was on Friday, July 7 of this year and I went twice in two days. That alone speaks volumes. The flavor is on point and heaping portions are served. “My family and I got the smoked chicken, ribs, the ribeye steak, and some sides.The ribs and smoke chicken were really great.I haven't ever had a BBQ sauce like the kind they had, but it was super delicious. The sauce was thin instead of thick, and wasn't not nearly as sweet as most sauces.The steak was arguably the best steak I have ever had, and surprisingly the bbq sauce they put on it went really well with it.I don't live in Georgia, but I will definitely try to visit again if I get the chance.“

“We loved what we got. The brisket was tender and juicy, the sausage had great flavor, and the corn bread was excellent. We also liked all the BBQ flavors they offered at the table. The Mac and cheese was excellent and tasted homemade. I also loved their sweet peach tea.“

“It started as a small comment while driving past in the middle of the night. “BARBECUE SHACK.” There, next to a convenience store, was a small wooden building marked BBQ Being from New York, there’s barbecue around... even good barbecue; but there is only so much that can go into the “big city restaurants”. Family is in the name, and family it is. We were treated as nothing less, and the love put into the food showed it. Massive portions, mouth watering tastes; several hours later, the full smoky flavors are still dancing in my mouth. I wish I had thought to take a picture, but when we’d had a taste... well, the rest of the platter didn’t last long enough anyways. Honestly, words can’t even properly express how happy this food makes me, and we’ll be making a point to come back whenever we’re in Savannah.“

“Pulled up to the place the outside area seemed intimidating but dont judge a book by its cover. My husband and I ordered from the walk up window. The owner was very friendly. My husband ordered the oxtails, red rice, hush puppies and mac n cheese, I had the lamb, potato salad and green beans. Everything we had on our plate was delicious it was so good we forgot to take a pic to show you the plates we ordered..lol. “Some of the best pulled pork. It was not fatty, and had a great flavor. The waffle fries were perfectly fried (crunchy). The baked beans awesome made with apple and the Mac and cheese was delicious on the pulled pork sandwich (my daughter’s creation). It was pricy, but I was Okay to pay for awesome local food, away from the touristy restaurants in River Street.“

“Visited here around dinner time and was seated almost immediately upon arriving. Very pleasant waitress who was very accurate with our orders, needs, etc. The food was fresh and hot for the most part. The grilled scallops seemed to be on the smaller side, and they were overcooked. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience. Hoping Carey Hilliards will be around for many more years to come!“
