I have been eating at this restaurant since it opened this is the best seafood / soulfood restaurant that I have ever eating at when they were open on the inside customer service was amazing and everytime I eat here the food is amazing and is always hot and fresh. Quality is time that's what you people have to realize !

I wish I could give 0 stars because the customer service is lousy. The employees are very rude and liars.My husband called in our order and he was told he could get 4 wings but got only 3. The wings were so small and the whole order looked like he ordered from the kids menu. My husband ordered 4 plates and paid about 40 bucks for kid sized meals.Try to support my own people but this restaurant does not deserve my business. I will not be back.

I love to get Momma Shay's takeout meal especially the seafood boil. Along for the ride also is the hamburger steak and the rice and gravy with cabbage. It's all very good food.

Had a door dash order here and had to wait over an hour for the food. I couldn’t leave since I had already paid, so I had to sit in the parking lot. Was told it would take 30 minutes or less, so I called again after the 30 minutes passed. They said 5 more minutes, but it took 40 more minutes. Would not recommend ordering door dash from here.

There’s a big time span between 30 minutes and 45 minutes. Especially considering the level of possible productivity in that time. So imagine being told your food will be ready in 30-45 minutes and waiting an hour and 20 minutes for it, with no acknowledgement of your wait or the inconvenience. The shrimp boil was good but the catfish and fries were mediocre and greasy.

Well, since I didn't feel like going out last night for dinner, I used KNG Delivery, and ordered the 12 piece Hot Wings, and the Cajun Shrimp Pasta, with small side salad and a dinner roll. Salad, with Blue Cheese Dressing: Though it was weird looking (croutons in on corner, shredded cheese in a straight line, and diced tomatoes in the other corner), the greens were fresh and crisp. And, the cheese and tomato tasted fresh, too. The Blue Cheese Dressing was fantastic! I haven't tasted such good dressing in years. 5 Stars Hot Wings: Whoa! I don't think I've ever seen such small drumettes. And, many of the wings were in a near L shape, vs being tucked together. While tasty, unfortunately, I found the drumettes to be quite dry, and a bit tough. As was the wing tips. But, the wing bases were what I'm use to. 3 Stars Cajun Shrimp Pasta: Oh, my word! Talk about a scrumptiouselious dish! While the pasta did stick a little (could be due to delivery), this was fantastic! The Cajun spice was just hot enough to let you know it. But, not so much where it blew the top of your head off. Or, having to guzzle water to put the fire out. 5 Stars And, between the wings, salad and entree, I got enough for 2 dinners, and a lunch. 8-) So, despite the wings being a let down, I'm very pleased with this place. And, for sure, I'll order from them again.
Momma Shay's Kitchen food is the bomb. It's real down-home cooking. So far I've tried the Crab and Shrimp seafood boil 3 times. Super delicious and also their catfish fillets and rice and gravy along with fried cabbage we're all very good. Hats off to Momma Shay's Kitchen for having good food and delivery service
