“We were told of this place by a friend! We went to the Italian Place owned by the same owners only 50 feet away and it was an experience ad well! Top Notch for the West Side! The server Tim was AMAZING but OREATHAS.... speechless. The Chef Lucky and the Bartender Bre were great! My Seafood dish was unavailable at the Italion spot so I wanted food, I order the Crawfish Fries but their is a fancy name I can't remember but it was great! Plus I can't remember because of the EXCELLENT DRINKS I had. The desserts were PHENOMAL too! I recommend both of these places! Hand sown a TREASURE on the Westside!“
“Just call me “love bug” because we are family now! Make the trip South of Atlanta and hit up Mr Styles Family BBQ. That jerk chicken, rib tips, “MAC N CHEESE!!!!” collards… just the whole menu: FIRE!You walk in the door and everybody is just nice and ready to serve. We’lll be back! Thanks Nr & Mrs Styles (Family)!“
“My first time visiting this restaurant and I got there after 7pm, closing time but the owner saw me coming and still allowed me to order a meal. This says something about her genuine spirit!! I throughly enjoyed my meal, which were Turkey wings over red rice , yams and macaroni & cheese, have enough to eat for lunch today..lol! I plan to place my order online for pickup next time so I can enjoy some Ox Tails or Rasta Pasta. I am saying you will enjoy that genuine spirit and eat some good food once you visit Red Rice Restaurant & Catering!“
“I ordered smoke turkey leg with baked beans & Mac&cheese ... devil eggs... smoke oxtails with dressing& yams... cabbage... peach cobbler.... man everything was so good! First soul food I've had since moving to GA ...definitely impressed and will be returning! Wish I could give them a 10! And they had good customer service!“
“Barrio ATL is an entire VIBEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I ended up here on a Thursday. I was in the Cascade area and in the mood for tacos. After a search on Yelp Barrio ATL popped up and was where we headed for the night. As a heads up, Barrio ATL sits in the corner of the strip plaza. As such, the parking can be a bit tight so be sure to choose a space accordingly. Upon walking in, the ambiance puts you in the mindset of a trendy hookah lounge. Wall seating, chairs, and tables are to the left, and a VIP area style is to the right. The DJ is directly to the left of the VIP area and the bar area is to the left of the DJ. The building is medium-sized and build rectangular so there is ample length as compared to the width. There was no one at the Hostess booth when I walked in, however, the young lady got up from one of the tables in the back, greeted me, and quickly took us to our table. Once seated, the waitress assigned to our table came over and was super nice and welcoming. She introduced herself as Shay and went over the specials for the night. As the ambiance is more than just a casual bar, Shay’s service was superior. Her personality shined and she enhanced the overall experience of the night. Thank you, Shay! Based on the specials for the night I decided to go with the 3 Chicken Birriia Tacos for $9 (this was a great deal as they are usually $20) and a side of fries. As they didn’t have Sweet Tea on the menu I ordered a bottle of water. Shout out to Barrio ATL for serving Fiji. Ha. Babeeeeeeeeee… Here me when I tell you… I don’t know what kind of potatoes these fries were made with but they were the BOMBBBBBBBB. They were thick, perfectly fried, golden to perfection, and well seasoned. For the record, I would go back for the fries alone. LoL! The birria tacos were good as well. As this was my first time having them I don’t have anything to compare them to, however, I enjoyed the experience. The crunchiness of the taco shell with the well-seasoned chicken. The birria consomé was well seasoned and definitely enhanced the flavor of the taco, as such, for my first birria experience I enjoyed it. Furthermore, if the chicken was this good, I can’t wait to try the beef. Overall Barrio ATL is def one to add to the checklist when you are looking for a vibe. The DJ was on point, the ambiance was hittin like it needed to be, and the overall flow of the environment was ideal for a kick it/unwind/grab a drink type of vibe.“
“I drove from Duluth to come get the Caribbean Jerk Pasta. The service I received from Jessica was amazing. She was very accommodating. The restaurant has great music and just an overall great atmosphere. Absolutely recommend checking it out.“
“My family and I are from Ohio and wanted some southern soul food. We located Zion Delight Southern Cuisine and to sum it up in one word: EXCELLENT!! We were greeted with big smiles and friendliness. Food was setup in a self-service manner. This gave everyone a chance to customize their meal with the wide variety of soul food. Everyone in my family said that their meal was great! They helped us plan our trip back to where we were staying in order to avoid ATL’s crazy highway traffic. My only complaint is that the size of their location is too small! Their food and customer service deserve a bigger location!! If you get a chance to eat here, I would highly recommend!!“
“Me and my boyfriend went here for our date night on a Monday and our waitress was amazing!!!! Love you Destiny !!! The food was delicious and she was very attentive and informational about the menu and answered all of our questions. And she also told us about their game night on Wednesday!!! We will be back.“
“This was my second time at this restaurant. Both times were pretty good experiences for the most part but this visit was better than the first. Each time I ordered veggie plates. Two on the first visit and one this visit. Everything was delicious this time. The first visit I didn’t care for the dressing or the Lima beans. When I was in there this last time I overheard a more frequent customer talking to the person she was with saying that some of the food be a hit or miss. I was a little disappointed with the strawberry cake because I asked the young lady was it boxed and she said no…. It definitely tasted boxed.Overall, good experience. Will return and would recommend.“
“Visited June 2023, my food was so good. I like how they have so many options. I had the oxtails with Mac & Cheese and it was soooo good. When the staffed found out it was me and my friend’s 1st time there, they must of told the owner because he asked to meet us. We went to the back and he asked us how everything was. We told him how much we enjoyed our food. Will be visiting Atl again soon and I plan on making a stop there. Also the staff up front was very nice.“
“I absolutely love Old Time Grill & Buffet! The food is was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The staff is friendly and attentive, making our visit very enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!“
“My third time back and this place is always a go to when I come to Atlanta. Everything I've ever had here is great. The ox tail & fried catfish is absolutely phenomenal. You have to try both. The sides here are endless and all an A+. Our favorites were the collard greens & candied yams. The service is so vibrant and kind. The whole experience is wonderful and the customers and staff made it all the more special. Eating in is a must as the place is charming. End your dinner any of the three cobblers. They are incredible!“
“If you come to Stockbridge, this is a must ! I watched the Super Bowl there and was welcomed with the most genuine and generous people. I tried the sweet iced tea chips, salsa, queso, and finished with the most tasty meaty chicken wings I've ever had. Not only was the food and service incredible, but the place it's self is a beautiful piece of history. You will not be disappointed!!“
“They would get 5 stars because the food is pretty tasty, but I've had better. They overdo it with the service. I can't believe... I've said that. But it's almost harassing. And on another occasion, I was undeserved...Little attention. Consistency is the key! I don't know what to expect.I haven't been back.“
“Took my grandma here after a long day.. we had an amazing time! We ordered a couple of cocktails that were great tasting and strong. We also ordered the honey bourbon chicken and the pineapple bowl.. both were delicious! Amazing customer service. The chef even came out to check on us as well. The restaurant was definitely a vibe. It was also a plus that this is a black owned restaurant! We will be returning.“
“The atmosphere was wonderful Cookie was excellent and Provided great service he went above and beyond ! Shawn was excellent ,provided great service ,and both were very friendly ,They went above and beyond to make my day special ! Will definately be back !?“
“Do not go to this place I'm VERY SERIOUS !! I had ordered few days ago steak don't know Salisbury or cube but it was tough no seasoning, collards VERY SALTY TOUGH UNDERCOOKED, PINTO BEANS RIGHT FROM CAN OF YESTERDAY'S. PEACH COBBLER TASTE LIKE DETERGENT. I GAVE ONE STAR BECAUSE I HAVE A FRIEND WORKS THERE WHICH IS “
“One of the best meat and 2 veggies plate in town. Although I would recommend the veggies plate due to the great selection to choose from. It's giving good old country cooking served with a smile, reasonable priced and large portion sizes...just enough to satisfy a southern appetite. I had country fried steak with gravy and mash potatoes, lima beans, squash casserole and macaroni and cheese.“
“My first time visiting here from out of town. I ordered oxta and the food and service was Äwesome. The food is top notch, the real deal; and the best soul food ive tasted hands down. We had to get back home so i only got to sample it but i tell u this i didnt or rather i couldnt put it down once i started i couldnt stop.“
“The food was amazing! The wingswere flavored really well. The mac and cheese was creamy just how i like it. The candied yams werent too sweet and they were delectable!! Everything was hot and fresh. And don't get me started on the banana pudding.. It was so good I had to save some for later. I'm eating it as we speak ?. 10/10 highly recommend. Will definitely be getting more.“
“This food is Amazing!!!! The Salmon nachos are amazing! I got extra capers on mine ?. They was sooo good in fact that that I went two days in a row!! My mom had the rib tips and macaroni and cheese and potato salad and she said everything was 10/10! Potato salad was sweet and southern! We love this place 10/10 will definitely be back!! Wish they were open on weekdays! I want some nachos right now!!“
“I was so hungry that I forgot to get a before pic. But if this after pic is any indication of how good the breakfast is, then there you have it! French toast, beef smoked sausage, scrambled eggs, and cheese grits. Delish! We’ll definitely be back and will be bringing others!“
“Good for breakfast, friendly service. Was told don’t go here for lunch but never tried it. But if necessary I’ll be back just a sample and reviewParking: There is a small lot but not impossibleKid-friendliness: It’s old school but good vibes. Though I wouldn’t recommend dining there. Good food but old building needs some loveWheelchair accessibility: It’s a go“
“I ordered catfish nuggets, grits, and biscuits for breakfast which was very tasty! I also tried the fried chicken and collard greens on my next visit which was good too! Family friendly atmosphere with great customer service! Truly enjoyed it!“
“"The Best Fried Green Tomatoes in Fayette County". I love the fried chicken, mac-n-cheese and greens. I also love the smothered turkey leg, rice and veggies. Omg! If I could eat here daily I would. Oh! And the customer service is always top tier!“
“first time here, found this place on Google. it’s hard to find a GOOD Jamaican restaurant with good sauce and flavor at the same time. this place is so good!! the owner is really nice. next time ill get more sauce but this is my new fav place.jerk chicken w/ cabbage (large)“
“Vegetarian options: For full vegetarians there is not a whole lot to suggest. For pescatarians there have lots of optionsParking: There is parking around the building that is often full. There is another lot next door you can use in the evenings.Wheelchair accessibility: The location is wheel chair friendly“
“The way the restaurant is set up it's definitely a take out only situation. The food is good, especially when hot. Service is friendly and attentive. The building is definitely in need of some modern TLC as it looks abandoned from the outside. The kitchen has a 98 grade, which I can definitely see from a place like this. The prices are pretty good. I usually get the onion and bell pepper added to my omelet.“
“I’ve been looking for a good Caribbean restaurant in the ATL for a while. The food was good and service was spot on! I told the server it was first time and she explained that a plate came with a meat and two sides and the plantain came with dinner. I had jerk salmon, kale, with rice and peas. Awesome flavors. The plantain was NOT sweet but I will be back.“
“I visit this restaurant often. Last Sunday a gentleman got sick and fell on the floor. Not sure if he was having a seizure or another kind of medical emergency. A customer yelled for her to call him ambulance ? and she made a very rude comment. She told the lady all yall people standing in line. One of yall call, It was very uncaring and nasty how she said it. At this point it was what she said and how she said it.“
“I came here on my lunch break and was able to get in and get out! The staff were amazing! 10/10 customer service. The food was really good! I wish there were some bell peppers and onions server with the turkey wing. It's a good soul food spot in the metropolitan area!“
“The food was great. The only issue was that several tables weren't clean. Outside of that, I was satisfied.Veggie Plate ($11.99)RiceBlack Eye PeasCabbage (LOVE IT)Mac n CheeseVegetarian options: Great Veggies OptionsParking: Enough parking.“
