The cookies did not look fresh. I purchased three and were not given the free ones. I threw the cookies away because they were too dark. This is why one should definitely not rush. Completely my fault. I should have stuck with the bottled drinks.

They went so far above my expectations. I ordered some cake slices and as I gathered my other items from my days shopping, I dropped my box of cake. Even though it was completely my fault the team there made me a new order ,bagged all my items in one of their larger bags and were very gracious and happy to help. I was reluctant to accept at first,it was my fault after all but they insisted and took amazing care of me. Thank you so much to the entire team.

It is amazing how sad this place feels. They sell cookies! It should be fun! It's quiet. Stark even. There's almost nothing on the walls, no music playing, and I wouldn't say the service is rude, but it feels like they're putting in the absolute bare minimum and not even faking being anything more than bored. I just buy cake slices and single cookies from time to time because there's no soda fountain anymore. I love cookie cake and it still tastes just as good as always, but I swear it's not as satisfying because of how "whatever," the building and employees are. If I ever needed a whole cake for an event I'd go to the Peachtree City store.

Ordered this cake for my daughter's birthday. The person I spoke to on the phone was rude when I ordered. We set pick up time for 6pm. At 6:08 he's (same rude person from earlier) calling me telling me to come get the cake. I told him someone was on the way & would be there soon. He rudely replies "we close at 7!" The person picking up the cake was literally standing in the store waiting to be helped. Then we get the cake & it looks like a 4 year old made it. And it was so thin, the candles would barely stand up.

Terrible customer service.Bad way to start my 40th birthday too :(Walked in with my birthday reward, been a GAC customer for over 25 years, and a male employee (could've been a manager) asked me what I wanted. I showed him the birthday reward scannable coupon on my app and he proceeded to tell me about a buy 5 cookies get 1 free sale--not what my reward was for.I saw through what he was doing, and told him the reward was for a cookie slice. He said "ok show me where", insinuating that I was lying.At this point I realized that this guy was being a rude jerk who had no intention of honoring my birthday reward, which is sad because it was my birthday! I was running errands and thought I could pop in real quick a treat. My mistake.I told him never mind I'm leaving and he immediately shifted gears and said "no no no, what did you want..." gesturing towards the basket case as I walked out the door.Who treats customers this way?Great America Cookies, that's who.Well, that's all it takes to lose my business.—sharing my review from yelp—

Went to great American today and the experience was horrible I have not been in a while so I was not aware of a new Indian owner . Customer service was TRASH the new Indian people in there do not care about you or helping you they are very non chalant and they won’t keep it stocked up or make you what you want , it was a very minimum selection in there . The atmosphere is so different now you don’t feel welcomed at all anymore and the COOKIES ARE HORRIBLE NOW TOO! they do not taste the same and are hard . I wish I would have went to PTC instead . Please change owners soon!

This last visit will surely be the last one. 3 times I have came here told them the time I have needed my cookie cake by and paid for it in advance and when I come back, 2 days later as agreed, to pick it up they tell me, "oh it won't be ready till later". This last time when I came back to pick it up (during the party) there was multiple hairs in it. Idk if it's bc of the type of people who own this location now or what but customer service has plummeted and its like no one cares when you go in there to spend your money.

Newnan ga location. Quite honestly was shocked to see the writing on this cookie. I have ordered GAC for 40 years and the last two I ordered from this location have been horribly decorated. They still taste delish so I will give them that! Skip this location and drive to PTC!!!

If you are ordering a cake and have other options, definitely go with the other options. I have been scarred the last three times I've ordered cake from this location - they cannot even center the words on the cake. Highly recommend ordering from somewhere with better-trained decorators!
How do you screw up a Great American Cookie store? Well this owner did it! Got rid of the coke machine and gives you bottles and the cookies just don’t taste the same. Just hit the mall for an authentic experience. To the owner please sell this location to someone who cares! Tanks!

I came in to order 2 cakes for our annual Founder's Day event for work. The super sweet girl taking my order was VERY attentive and had a ton of really great ideas for our cake. She grabbed a screen shot of the company logo and sent it into the group chat.When I tell you they knocked this cake OUT OF THE PARK??? Not only was it beautiful, it was ready when I got there...no waiting at all...and it was delicious!We had visitors from corporate that were impressed with the quality and execution.10/10 will be ordering all of our desserts from GAC Newnan.
