“This is a favorite craft beer spot near me in Norcross; The community atmosphere can't be beat. The craft beer on tap updates frequently if you're looking for a taste of something new, but their standard lineup is also solid - there is something for everyone. Add in their regular rotation of food trucks, and you've got a great way to spend an afternoon. You'll find a wide range of regulars here from young families (their kids enjoying the outdoor space seemingly created for them), to local clubs, dog people (and their dogs), and even the brewery owners, themselves! If you're lucky, you'll have a brush with local celebrity, and rub fuzzy shoulders with the brewery's well-known brew-pup, Swayze.“
“This place was amazing!! As a Jamaican I can say this food is truly cooked by the hands of a skilled Jamaican chef and I saw her back there making magic!! Crystal was an excellent server and very nice and attentive. The ambiance was spectacular, they played Caribbean music most of my visit and had images of the island on the big tv as well as sports on the smaller tv behind the bar. I’ll be back for sure, many blessings!“
“Went to High Card Brewery for a Plant Swap Sale. I was super impressed with the size of the Brewery as well as the esthetics. I didn't partake in any of the drinks/food so I can't speak to that, but heard great things about it from other consumers there.“
“I loved the muffin and the coffee is also really good. I was disappointed by the fact that they advertise the food menu as “all day” but the proceeded to tell me that the kitchen closed at 2:30pm. As I was there, it was 2:50 so I missed it by about 20 minutes. On top of that, they were also short on change which is fine because I get it, you know? It happens. Just mostly disappointed by the false advertising.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and they allow you to modify parts of the menu such as request a veggie patty in place of beef and omit any eggs from all dishes.Parking: Lots of parking in the back. Maybe about 8/9 spots in the front and more in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: While I don’t personally have a wheelchair, I am very aware of disability friendly environments and architecture. There was a ramp to get inside as well as the booths having pull out chairs for those who need the accessibility. No unnecessary steps or stairs to get in.“
“Moondog has such a large selection of beer! They had 40 beers on tap, with a refrigerator of wine (limited selection) and nonalcoholic beer too! They share a parking lot with some other businesses.Small space with limited tables and seating. We went on Saturday, 2/3/24, at 5:45 pm. It was already crowded, but there was a free table! By 7 pm, it was packed! They had live music when we went. There was a sign for trivia night too.I got the Mason Ale Works iPop! Tropical and it was soooo tasty and fruity and amazing. I also had the Yazoo Hefeweizen. Also good!Pretty cool and fun place. Very chill. Would definitely go back!“
“We knew that the chef was trying out new recipes and a new menu so we ordered multiple appetizers and a few entrées to split. Highlights:DumplingsSalmon TartarMussels as an appetizerBurger BurgerSolePork chopsThe food was cooked to perfection, and one can tell that a lot of thought went into its preparation. The front of the house also shined.“
“Walking in to Hopstix we were welcomed by the wide open space, clean lines, and minimalist decor. Our server, David Ramos, was friendly, explained Asian Fusion cuisine, and described specific menu items enthusiastically. We ordered baby octopus... a spicy, crispy, red adventure; Asian-seasoned corn-on-the-cob (who knew?); and panko-crusted chicken strips with curried veggies over jasmine rice. We were impressed. The flavors were distinct but not powerful. The spicy hotness was entertaining without burning. The panko was crispy on the tender, juicy chicken; the veggies... carrots, onion, and broccoli... were al dente; the currie sauce was mildly spicely over almost-fluffy (vs. pasty) jasmine rice; and the serving was remarkably generous. My guest tried the jasmine rice beer and enjoyed its lightness and slight aroma. Our desert was an exquisite coconut-encrusted Creme Brulee. The pace of service was relaxed so we were able to talk and laugh between servings and the attentive visits by David and bussers. A two-hour lunch is uncommon; we enjoyed every minute of our first experience at Hopstix, and will be brining our friends there soon.“
“Today was my first day ever trying the food at barley garden and when I say the food was absolutely amazing I had a sandwich called I believe the butchers bun. It was so good that I had to order an extra one to take home. I mean the service was great. The atmosphere was amazing. I cannot wait to have a ladies night there if you're ever in the area. This is a must try“
“This place has got it all ! First off Great service ! That’s what we all want right? Lauren was simply amazing . Made me the best old fashion I’ve had in years! The food came out respectably on time and piping hot! OH and delicious! The large portions will keep you coming back! Check it out and don’t just take my word for it, experience it for yourself!“
“I think we can all agree that most people look at reviews of restaurants to see how bomb the food is going to be. However, If you are looking for a casual date night, dining in type of environment, this is not the place. The food on the other hand was magnificent!!! I love the efo riro soup the pounded yam, the jollof rice and the brisket was good although, it could have been a little less dry. I wanted to dine in, but didn't realize that they try and make it a "club/lounge" vibe. The music was way too loud for me. You cannot comfortably hold a conversation.THE PRICES!!! So, I don't have a problem paying for amazing food, however, $26 for a stew and pounded yam is a no for me.Not to mention their portions are so small. $9 for jollof rice, $16 for sliced brisket that was a handful!! They need to cut prices or double up on portions if they want more business. We also ordered a corona, ONE BEER= $7!!!!!!!!!!Overall, It was okay, I will go there for take-out if I am desperate to eat some good African food, but expect to pay a good bit!“
“I was craving Korean fried chicken while visiting in the area. A quick google search and my bf and i ended up here. The service was quick and they had service buttons. The chicken was yummy and so crispy. My boyfriend loves that Korean fried chicken comes with gloves. Come hungry!“
“Love this place but continue to be astonished by how the bartenders all seem bothered by your presence... all of them. We were there yesterday and it wasn't even busy - no smiles, no how can I help you, etc. It was a bother to get us drinks, etc. I don't get it. Great place other than that.... good live music, decent food and love the changing food truck concept.“
“We had my husband’s 50th birthday party at Blue Tarp/High Card last night. It was perfect! The space was ours for the private event. The management & staff were all great to work with, they even helped us decorate. They’ve been on our radar as a local brewery for a while, but it is a great space for events. Highly recommend!“
“Maggie’s Neighborhood Bar and Grille, or Mags as us Emory students call it, is a good bar. I didn’t end up getting anything to drink besides water, but the onion rings were good. I give this place a 4/5 solely on personal preference that it’s a smoking establishment, and I’m pretty sensitive to cigarette smoke.“
“Very impressed with our experience here! Hard to find places where you can just hang out, have a few drinks, and feel relaxed without all the "posturing". An actual bar feel and not a club. Clean, great service, and friendly patrons wrapped it up as a really good night.“
“We walked in for lunch and immediately knew that everyone there was aware that the 2 of us were fatter and older than 5 years ago. Add to that the bartender, Mel, must've detected a hint of our retardation bc she mentioned on numerous occasions how to spell her name...the first test was drinks: I ordered us a "dunwoody house wife"..(1/2 water 1/2club soda 1 lemon wedge 1/2 cup of bitters shake it then pour it all out in front of strangers...its a treat) Lunch was delicious-spaghetti and meat sauce ...just like mom's as was Mel's glare as she watched us slurp noodles off the bar. Finally dessert and let me tell ya- the foreplay leading up to the actual decision to order promised an explosive finish- Tuxedo ?: frozen strawberry something with ice cream...we waited- we were actually giddy with anticipation...the moment had arrived -VOILA! 2 pickle spears a pack of mayonnaise and strawberry candy...an equally delicious treat. (UPDATE:We went back this week- we got the right soda this time but still can't recall how-to spell her name..)FYI if you show up at the right time you may ZZ top or the Morton fisherman in the corner (same guy...)Kid-friendliness: If you allow your 8 year to roll his own or turn a lucky in his hard pack then I guess it could be kid friendly but I'm gonna say not...“
“Excellent place with wonderful owners and great beer. We consider this “our” place as this is the first brewery we started playing Cornhole at, so We decided to have our wedding and after party there. They exceeded our expectations with the set up and serving all the guests beer and helping out however we needed it for the big day. All of our family and friends told us that the wedding “was so relaxing and fun” Absolutely love the owners and the staff.“
