“Both the barista and the chef were very friendly and accomodating. My husband had the best espresso shot he has had in a long time. The veggie biscuit was delicious with pesto, pimento peppers, and real cheddar cheese. The parfait was huge with lots of toppings! The vibe is chill yet upbeat. An excellent start to the morning. ?“
“Don’t know where to start. Finally, an authentic caribbean/Jamaican restaurant in ATL. The food as well as the service is top notch, and quite frankly, this place deserves more than 5 stars. Their drinks are great as well—the Bob Marley and the rum punch, are my favorite drinks. What I love most about this place is that it makes you feel like you are back on the islands. From the music to the food—it makes you feel as though you transported to Jamaica. Everything I had so far was excellent (pls try their patties and coco bread —to meIt is the best I have had since moving to ATL 3 yrs ago from Brooklyn) and their brunch is on point! I have been to this place 4 times and they have not disappointed me or my husband. I will be back again!“
“If you haven’t dropped by the DOPEST brewery in ATL you are missing out! Love the aesthetic and all of the art work. They always have a good dj or a cool event happening and it’s super spacious. Food and pizza is 10 out of 10. Beers are great as well, you may even catch a few of the members of Nappy Roots in the brewhouse when you pop by, they are awesome guys! One of the 1st and only black owned breweries in Atlanta and they really do a great job representing for the culture. Stop by after game day for a brew, it’s just a few blocks from the Mercedes Benz!“
“Love love love this place! I'm hooked. The bartenders not only make great drinks, they are super conversationalists! I learn something new every time I go. Plus, even though they don't have food, you can bring in food from the Beverly next door... No Buffalo Trace available last night for my Old Fashioned but maybe in future? (Hint hint)“
“The tower of power burger is an absolute banger! It is juicy and flavorful and I substituted caramelized onions with bacon instead and it was really amazing. A MUST TRY ?. The garlic Parmesan fries on the side were good but not great I would say. They have wide variety of dips and I really liked sriracha mayo with the burger and fries. The VIETNAMESE WINGS were just fireeee? loved the basil flavor and as the waiter mentioned it takes a lot of time for these wings so you better order them first if you’re ordering multiple things. The service was good but they’re only 2 for the whole restaurant so it took quite some time for asking anything else. But overall it is a MUST TRY ?? . I and my wife loved the food and the experience. Will be back sometime again to try the rest of the menu“
“A hidden gem. Went on a Sunday afternoon, it wasn’t too crowded but a nice size crowd. I had the shrimp Mac and Cheese and it was outstanding. Also has the Boxcar Margarita which was good as well. The place is located right off the west side beltline. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for good food and drinks.“
“I loved the muffin and the coffee is also really good. I was disappointed by the fact that they advertise the food menu as “all day” but the proceeded to tell me that the kitchen closed at 2:30pm. As I was there, it was 2:50 so I missed it by about 20 minutes. On top of that, they were also short on change which is fine because I get it, you know? It happens. Just mostly disappointed by the false advertising.Vegetarian options: I’m vegetarian and they allow you to modify parts of the menu such as request a veggie patty in place of beef and omit any eggs from all dishes.Parking: Lots of parking in the back. Maybe about 8/9 spots in the front and more in the back.Wheelchair accessibility: While I don’t personally have a wheelchair, I am very aware of disability friendly environments and architecture. There was a ramp to get inside as well as the booths having pull out chairs for those who need the accessibility. No unnecessary steps or stairs to get in.“
“Spacious facility, good beer-drinks and food! I had the spicy pizza, hazy Jane IPA and samples of the Elvis IPA,and this sour which began with a “F”-forgot the name..all the beer is good My waiter Damian was great!! Definitely recommend this spot across from Krog Street Market“
“Moondog has such a large selection of beer! They had 40 beers on tap, with a refrigerator of wine (limited selection) and nonalcoholic beer too! They share a parking lot with some other businesses.Small space with limited tables and seating. We went on Saturday, 2/3/24, at 5:45 pm. It was already crowded, but there was a free table! By 7 pm, it was packed! They had live music when we went. There was a sign for trivia night too.I got the Mason Ale Works iPop! Tropical and it was soooo tasty and fruity and amazing. I also had the Yazoo Hefeweizen. Also good!Pretty cool and fun place. Very chill. Would definitely go back!“
“Located inside of Krog Street Market, Hop City Craft Beer and Wine offers a bar setup and wine/beer shop all in one. I skipped over Hop City my first few visits to KSM before I moved to ATL but just had to check the store out after seeing all of the goods they had peering at me from the window. The wine/beer shop is actually pretty spacious and offers an insane amount of options. If you're looking for variety - this is where you need to be. I love a great craft beer and a fabulous bottle of wine, and I now know that I can always get those here. There are aisles and refrigerators full of craft beer from all over, IPAs, ciders, domestic, international - all of the above. The wine selection is just as impressive! The shop is never super crowded and it seems as though the team works the bar and the cash register at once, so you may wait a little second for assistance, but you get it! I was greeted and checked out with a friendly smile and didn't cringe at the bill for my handpicked selection of drinks. Definitely a fave for me when shopping for a bottle/can of something special!“
“MY EXPERIENCE AT FATT MATT WAS SOOO GREAT I LOVE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE FOOD ESPECIALLY THE POTATO SALAD ITS THIS ONE MIX GIRL THANK HER NAME IS SHAY IN SHE ALWAYS SO JOLLY THE MANAGER Taliesha SUCH A GREAT PERSON SHE BEEN THERE FOR YEARS THEY SHOULD DEFINITELY LET HER OWN THE PLACE THE WAY SHE RUNS IT LOL ILL BE BACK LIKE ALWAYS“
“I can’t drink milk: I haven’t had hot chocolate in years and they made it with almond milk. It was absolutely delicious. They even make their own chocolate ? (that contains milk) My girlfriend got a vanilla latte and she said she’d go back, but next time she’s get a large lol. I’ll be back too!Dietary restrictions: Almond milkAnd one other option (not sure)“
“I came here on a Sunday. I didn’t have the food. But I loved the intimacy of the space. It very comfortable with couch seating. One of the bartender was welcoming and attentive while we were there. There was another bartender that made me feel like I shouldn’t be asking questions but I didn’t let that take away from the experience.“
“A fantastic bar to wind down or start your day off with. I frequent here before and after my classes due to their decent prices, excellent food, and student discount. It tends to be fairly quiet most times, but they play music and have TVs in case you want a low-key vibe but don't want complete silence.“
“Having been to some terrible places in airports makes this gem even more of a standout. Fantastic blackened catfish over rice and beans, perfectly done tater tots, and a huge beer selection. First time here (somehow), but I'm immediately going to be back here the next time I have a layover in Atlanta.“
“Kourtland was beyond amazing!! He’s such an asset and probably the best server I’ve ever had. He was attentive, knowledgeable, hilarious, kind, passionate and so much more. He deserves a raise and we will definitely be coming back just to see Kourtland.“
“This place was great! After an experience next door we crashed here and was NOT disappointed. We were greeted and reviewed the menu. Ordered the eggplant parmesan, meatballs, pizza and wine. We sat at the bar in front of the wood fire ovens. Got to watch our meals being prepared and had the most pleasant conversation with the pizza makers. The meatballs were FIRE! They were amazing, wonderful combo of meats and hand made…AMAZING. The pizza was also just the best pizza I have had in a long time. They finish with actual Italian olive oil which took the experience to another level. Then oh whoa almost forgot about their dessert. We ordered the pistachio cake and tiramisu. WOW, the dessert was simply beautiful and perfect amount of sweetness. Everything was fresh and amazing. All the employees there were wonderful welcoming and kind. Such a great place! Will be back for sure!!“
“Cool bar to try a number of beer and cocktails without needing to lock into a full drink is fantastic. Very cool environment and a good place to hang out. Something to still be worked on with the tabs on the 2nd/3rd floor being heavy foam. The staff was great and quick to help get the foam issues corrected and had great recommendations.“
“I would definitely recommend this restaurant! We stopped on our way to Alabama and I'm so glad we did. The food was so fresh and good. We ordered the Bronx burger, chicken tenders and fries, and we also ordered the j*** chicken egg rolls. We had an amazing meal and even had entertainment . Thank you again for the dinner it is very appreciated! Don't pass this place it's a hidden gem.“
“So the restaurant is open on a limited basis from Thursday to Saturday as of this date. But room service is available for guests at the malfunction prone Embassy Suites on 17th street. I called for room service during dinner rush. About 20 minutes later there’s a knock on the door - it’s the restaurant manager : “I tried to call you, “ he said. (the phone wasn’t working it appears?). He wanted me to know they had run out of what I’d ordered but he’d be happy to bring me something else for the same price. And then 15-minutes later he returned with my order which was freshly made and tasty. Give this guy a medal for good food and superlative service!“
“This place has got it all ! First off Great service ! That’s what we all want right? Lauren was simply amazing . Made me the best old fashion I’ve had in years! The food came out respectably on time and piping hot! OH and delicious! The large portions will keep you coming back! Check it out and don’t just take my word for it, experience it for yourself!“
“Great late night spot for drinks and fun. You can go downstairs for games or stay upstairs for bar and food. Games include, pool, darts, boardgames,a hook game, Shuffle board & more. We didnt eat here but played games. It was definitely packed on a Friday night, and there was even a cute photo booth downstairs for $3.00.“
“Great selection for anyone who enjoys an adult beverage! There are 40 taps of craft beer, cocktails, wine and sake, plus a selection of fine whiskeys, rums, tequilas and other spirits. The beers on tap are only available at breweries or sold in small batches and the taps will change daily. To my delight, there was even an Other Half IPA on tap when I visited once, and to my knowledge, you can't find that beer anywhere in the state of Georgia. The bartenders are knowledgeable and attentive, so I always stop in when I'm in the area.“
“Maggie’s Neighborhood Bar and Grille, or Mags as us Emory students call it, is a good bar. I didn’t end up getting anything to drink besides water, but the onion rings were good. I give this place a 4/5 solely on personal preference that it’s a smoking establishment, and I’m pretty sensitive to cigarette smoke.“
“Had a great time stopping here before a show at the Fox. It was super easy to get there from the North Ave MARTA station & a short walk to the Fox from there. The food, service, and drinks were amazing! Ahmeer the host was so nice and worked to accommodate us despite being tardy for our reservation.“
“Super great place, friendly staff, excellent customer service. I randomly stopped by one afternoon while alone on a business trip & felt so safe and comfortable while dining in. Also idk if I met the owner or manager but whoever he was hes great guy. Whole staff ??“
“Park Tavern was awesome! The ambiance was amazing.. The food was your average bar food, nothing too fancy. I loved how many people were dog people and how many people brought their dogs. The patio dining area had water bowls for the puppies. You order at the bar and then you pick up inside the restaurant. The restaurant is magical with fairy lights from top to bottom.“
“Visited as it was within walking distance from the Cobb Convention center. About a 15-20 minute walk (mostly waiting to cross streets) Met a business partner out on the patio to enjoy the weather. I had the Thunder bowl salad. I was very happy with it. Great taste. Well dressed. Waitress did an excellent job of taking care of us. I would happily go back“
“What a fun night. The Optimist is a wonderful place to celebrate an event. The staff helped surprise the award winner with champagne and a congratulations sign on the table, and continued making his night throughout dinner. Started with raw oysters and octopus. Loved the spicy honey on the octopus. Shared the apple and blue cheese salad with a friend and another had the she-crab soup. Then entrees, a lobster roll, mahi-mahi and halibut. Sides were cauliflower and hush puppies. All plates were clean. I do wish my mahi-mahi had a bit more flavor. The best part was dessert. The chocolate pudding cake was to die for. The staff out did themselves with the presentation.Kid-friendliness: They have a small outdoor putting green for kids.“
