“I have posted this restaurant a few times. I highly suggest you make a reservation because they will seat you at the bar or possibly a high top table in the bar if you don't make a reservation. They will tell you it will get busy even if half the tables aren't being used and aren't full before you leave the restaurant. Everyone helps each other out in the restaurant with filling water, taking away dirty dishes etc. Great team work. Everyone says hello and goodbye and says thank you for coming in even if they aren't your server. There is a wide array of food to choose from. We generally opt to do numerous small plates so we can try many different things. The sushi is fresh and delicious and made to order. The lettuce wraps are a definite favorite and so are the Waygu sliders. They have a great bar and do brunch on the weekends. If you haven't eaten here, you have definitely been missing out. If you are cold natured, take a sweater with you because they keep the air on and it is always freezing in there. Bon Appétit!“

Traveling between Seoul and Southern California frequently, the authenticity and quality of this venue holds its own and is a gem in Duluth! “My date and I went for Valentine’s Day last night. We are not high maintenance, but good food is very important to me. Food was amazing, most of the items are very reasonably priced for the prep quality. The Birria sandwich was killer. Wagyu flatiron was cut with the grain, but was otherwise tender and delicious, as they allowed rare cooking. The space was spacious and quiet, and we felt like we had conversational privacy even when the room was full. Service was very attentive and their division of labor made the service between food, drinks, and bussing feel balanced. I definitely will return. Also, the wine list was wonderful. “First time coming to this restaurant. I really appreciated the vegan options and the waiter advising that some things can be cross contained such as surfaces, cooking utensils and hand holding. In addition the atmosphere was a small location but very intimate. A great date spot for sure! Prices were a little on the higher side for the portion sizes. “We sat at the outdoor bar for a very affordable bottomless mimosa brunch while eating delicious food and listening to live music. The bartender, Caitlin, made us feel like we’d been coming here for years. Although we were there for bottomless brunch, we got a taste of the award winning Rosa Caliente margarita which was amazing. Super fun vibe, great service, and delicious food, will definitely be back!“

“We drive up to Suwanne from downtown Atlanta to visit my wife's step-father once or twice a month, and El Molcajete is one of our go-to dinner spots. The carnitas plate and a 32oz Pacifico or Modelo always hit the spot!The only downside is the live music... the music is not bad. The room is like a big box and it can get a bit loud and drown out dinner conversation. So, on weekend nights, we try to get there a little early to miss the music.“

“I really underestimated this place. I often come and sit at the bar for a quick drink, the margs are cheap and all it takes is one for me. I like that you get chips and salsa free. I ordered the rice and beans previously and was unimpressed. Today I got a steak burrito and YALL.. It's probably the best wet burrito I've ever had. The service is great, the owner is very nice and welcoming, the drinks flow, and I like the atmosphere. Definitely one of my go-to places.“

“Had a reservation but had to wait almost 30 minutes as we were a party of 3 and they wouldn't seat us at a bigger table. Very noisy so could barely hear my friends talking. Also, a lot of the deserts were displayed uncovered and people were smelling them and hovering over them.“
