“Three of us went for lunch. We were accommodated an hour earlier than they were scheduled to open. The decor and ambiance was spot on. Andre the waiter was extremely attentive and his suggested appetizer was nothing short of delicious. It included jerked hot wings, Lilly’s little flowers - well seasoned cauliflowers, beef and chicken pates with coco bread. To drink we thoroughly enjoyed the ocean blue lemonade, homemade sorrel and dark and stormy - rum n ginger beer drinks. The side shots of coconut rum were exquisite. Because we were early we were not able to order the curried goat entree which would take longer to prepare, and will have to try that on another visit. My wife had the oxtail and said it was falling off the bone delicious but would have liked a little more fire in the seasoning. Two of us had fish escoviche, but also felt the fish could have had some added fire in the seasoning too. Rum raisin ice cream and bread pudding were our delicious desserts. I would definitely recommend this eatery for fine dining.“
“I love coming here. I order ahead online because this place is very popular. I only gave 4 stars because of the cabbage. It used to be amazing but now bell peppers are being added and it throws off the taste. Please remove bell peppersParking: Open parking lot due to the location of the restaurant so it’s never a problem.“

“Food is really good. Not over spiced or oily. Perfect cross between salt and spices. Establishment was very clean, I didn’t see a spec of anything on the floor. It also SMELLED clean, you can tell they must clean daily. The young man that served me was very kind and generous. I got there an hour before closing so no rice and beans or plantains, but oh my the white rice was SO GOOD. I didn’t know white rice could taste so yummy haha. I got the curry goat and cabbage. Great prices, great portions, and great food. 5/5 for sure. Thank you guys!!!“
“Awesome I tried this place for the first time today. I got goat,rice and peas and cabbage. Since I’ve moved out this way this is the best Jamaican food I’ve had since I’ve lived out here. Taste better than tastes as well. Everything is fresh , hot, idk if he does seasoning but even if he doesn’t it still taste amazing . Home cooked food as well. Awesome try try“
“I have "tried" the Jerk Chicken plate at LJC at least 15 times and am never disappointed. The portions are large, the flavor is authentic, and all at a very affordable price. Family owned and operated. Wear your pants with a flexible waist because you won't leave anything on your plate. Expect to be full and smiling when you leave.“
“This place is the real deal! The owner makes you feel like you are in Jamaica — from the music, the market that is set up inside the restaurant and of course the authentic and incredible food. The jerk chicken is bursting with so many flavors, including just the right amount of heat. If you haven’t been, you HAVE to give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!“
“I have to leave a review due to the fact. One time my food wasn't right. I called and let them know that my food wasn't right and i live too far to drive back. They told me they would replace it with no issues. Two weeks later I returned with my receipt in hand. The customer service was amazing. They replaced meal, and it was even better then the first I should've got.“
