This place feels like home. Loving atmosphere, delicious food, I would say they have the best fried chicken in Rome Ga. I ordered from here for a very last minute Easter dinner, and they were accommodating and provided a quick turn around. Can not wait for my family to enjoy this beautifully prepared meal, I will definitely be a returning customer!
We normally visit Doug’s Place for Southern cooking but have talked about trying Carmelita’s for a while. Finally made it there this afternoon. So many times when you read great reviews on a restaurant you get there and are not impressed. The food was wonderful as was our service. We had them cater our wedding and it was AMAZING!!!!! The portion sizes and options were great, it felt like we had gotten everyone an amazing home cooked meal instead of sterile, bland, boring catering! Honestly, we may make the trip down to Rome to her restaurant just to relive our wedding day! Carmalita and her team were also super helpful and kind, they ended up helping so much that day and just went above beyond!
