i didnt know what to order so they let me do some sample until i found one i really like ,fun loving service with laughs and smiles, i've been back even the younger server has great customer service. now thats saying a lot in my book. so , now they are on my must stop list when i go to rome ga.

Pelicans never disappoints, especially in the Georgia heat. The staff are mostly teens, but they are respectful and take their time to ensure that they make the perfect snowball. If you have an issue, they are always happy to fix it. Reviews about them being slow is misleading, considering they have to shave the ice and make each order one at a time, I am not sure what people expect. Ask for a flavor challenge card, there are SO many options! You can even get a pup cup for your fur baby.

I typically reserve 5-stars for impressive sit-down restaurants, but I was kind of blown away. The small, fenced-in child play area is a great little addition -- especially considering they provide toys. The flavors are great; though you may suffer from "option paralysis."

I have never waited in line for so long in my entire life. Oh, and it was for ONE CAR IN FRONT OF ME. Get ready to waste your entire day because you can't get out of the drive thru.

Overall they have really good moderately priced snowballs. I like the rainbow no ball. I really don't like that they ask you how much tip to charge your card straight to your face and do it before they even give you the product and know the quality of service you will receive. I feel like if I don't give a huge tip they're going to spit in my snowball.. seems unprofessional. They should do the tip system like every other place in the world where you leave a tip secretly after you receive your snowball. Also, they charged my dog for whipped cream without asking.Reply to owner: Seems like you have an excuse for everything...

The snow balls are great! The 2 stars are for the staff! This is my second time here and I'm not impressed with the staff. My first time they left out the ice-cream, which I can understand, so today I gave it another try. A large blueberry. I end up with like 1 very small shot of syrup on the top. The rest of it was just dried shaved ice. Clearly the person making it did not even try or care, lol. I went back and showed them, they didn't look to happy with me. SMH!

Very disappointed tonight, we were there before the advertised close time of 9 pm, we stood at the window for 5 min then a girl came to the window and screamed, (yes, screamed) "I'm sorry the walk up window is closed, we can take you through the drive thru." (which was lined around the building) We have never had an experience like that and we spend $25 every time we go, which is 1-2 times a week. This will keep us from going back.

Soooooooo yummyyy!!!! A cute little place with a large selection of tasty flavors, wonderful customer service, and even a place for the kids to play while waiting and/or eating!! Would totally recommend for an awesome night out ?
