“We loved this place! Stayed here for a long weekend and went here everyday. The pretzel charcuterie board was super yummy and all the drinks were great! I didn’t take a picture of it but the skillet cookie dessert was my fav!? the service was very good too I definitely recommend this “

“A local store owner recommended Ember. She said to get the flatbread pizza. She was right! Four of us started with the grilled Caesar salad and the crispy Brussel sprouts. Both were perfect apps to split and the Caesar had a great smoky flavor. We each ordered our own flatbread and shared. We ordered Margherita, Green , the boar and the yardbird. The green was a pizza with a salad on top, so wouldn't recommend ordering as takeout, but it was great eating in the restaurant. The Board had great flavors that mixed together well. The Margherita and yardbird were also excellent. None of us had a favorite. Our waitress Kristen was attentive and a great conversationalist. Highly recommend if you are on St Simons. Really fun atmosphere and a cool bar!“

“We were in town for a conference. My husband had a few drinks and he said they were good☺️. Everyone was so nice and friendly, our waiter was the best. The food was good, hot, big portions and the dessert was okay ( ice milk instead of ice cream).“

“We looked for a sushi spot in St. Simon’s Island to go to on our day trip, and landed on Tara’s. I’m not the biggest sushi fan, but I LOVE Thai food, so this was the perfect spot for us. My partner and son got sushi, which they said was really good. I got the drunken noodles, and our 5 year old got chicken and rice. I should point out that they do not have a kids menu, so we had to order a regular portion of rice, and then bring the rest home. Totally fine with me, because I was the one who got to eat it the next day ? The drunken noodles were amazing, as well as the rice that I tried the next day. I was too hungry to take a photo of our cream cheese wonton appetizer, but it was some of the best wontons I’ve had.Our server was great as well and memorized our large order without writing it down! “Highly recommend the cheeseburger and fries. The food was made to order. Great batch of fries, so hot and crispy. Cheeseburger was like an old time dairy bar burger. Loved the nostalgic decor. Appreciated the good service as well. We will be returning!“

“Great casual date night! We sat at the bar and enjoyed a glass of wine, salad, bruschetta and a pizza. Fabulous food, drink and the manager is great! We don't eat dairy and they accommodated us with a vegan cheese that tastes just as good as high quality mozz. 10/10“
