Great service, great attention to gluten and shellfish allergies. This is our third time dining here during visits to Savannah. Server (manager) remembered us from previous visits. Very friendly/personable.

A really good and tasty experience. The Melting Pot is a really cool experience that I must recommend. We got seated and ordered the Alpine and it was so delicious. The mixes of the different cheeses were really good and all of the little bites we got with it to dip in the cheese worked really well with each other. After the cheese fondue, we got our salads and it was a good Caesar Salad. I thought it was enjoyable and light. The other person in my party got the Strawberry Arugula Salad and they thought it was very fresh and light as well. For our Entree we got the Classic and Steak Lovers. The classic has many options: Herb crusted Chicken, Teriyaki beef, Shrimp, Pork, etc. The steak lovers has many different steaks including the Teriyaki Steak form the Classic. It was really good. With our entrees we got different sauces to dip our meats in and they were really good. It was also super simple to cook all of them it only took 2 minutes for each piece of meat. For our dessert we got the Banana Foster. This was a nice ending to our meal. It came with some fruit and other sweet treats. It was nice and when it came out our waiter set it on fire which was pretty cool. All in all I must recommend the Melting Pot not just for the food but for the experience as well.

The food was very nice. The tables were clean and the bathrooms were clean. The service over all was very nice and I hope to eat there again.

We had reservations last night for 6:30. We arrived early and were greeted with a sour expression and a come back later we cannot seat you. When making reservations it states to arrive early so ok…we went for a walk and came back. No one was at the front desk and we waited and again greeted with a sour expression. There were 6 tables that were occupied. Our server was the only highlight of the evening and it was awful how many times he had to come back and tell us some bad news. Drinks were limited due to the bartender didn’t have ingredients or how to make it. I ordered a haven punch that came in a tiki glass and was to be served with dry ice and all kinds of fun trimmings. It was warm and no dry ice no trimmings. The food was tiny scraps of carrot, three pieces of celery and some brown apple with an overload of bread cubes. Our entrees were good but not $124 good. The amount of small staff, small sad portions and “out of ingredients” tells me this place is going out of business. If not, step it up or move on. We were celebrating our engagement and it was just an overly expensive poor excuse of a meal and experience. It’s downtown Savannah, go anywhere but here and save a lot of money and actually have a positive atmosphere. This was utterly disappointing.

The Melting Pot is our FAVORITE place for intimate, special occasions for two! There is nothing like the deliciousness of a private booth on “Lover's Lane” for savoring one hot bite at a time from the first cheese course to savory fresh meats to sweet chocolatey dessert. ♥️. We had personal attention from manager Jesse Behringer, whose tasty personal recipes have become standards on the Melting Pot's national menus. Even though it is a “chain”, we feel like Broughton St's location has its proprietor's special professional touch. There is a setting on the other side for more casual dining and a family room feel for “fun” dinners with a group— but, can't beat “Lover's Lane” for couples! We had a wonderful evening!

The staff were amazing, the privacy of the two person booths were very aesthetically pleasing. Our server was also dealing with one of the rudest tables I’ve ever been seated near and he handled it amazingly well. If you want an amazing experience on a night out or date then look no further.Parking: The parking deck is maybe two blocks away on the other side of the SCAD theater. Not a far walk and the street isn’t very crowded.

If I could give it zero stars I would! When we walked in the Saturday after Valentines we were told we could only order one order. The valentines meal. No options other than the cheese flavor and chocolate flavor. The price was $69.95 per person with a required 20% gratuity no matter how the service was. My wife wanted to go and it was vacation so I said sure. It was hands down the worst meal I have ever eaten in my life. I’ve had spam sandwiches that were better. The “steak” was tough, the shrimp smelled like it went bad a week ago, the lobster was the size of a crawfish. It was bad bad bad!!! Then I get the check and it’s $212!!!!! For two people no alcohol!!!!! Just two first cokes and the horrible food!!! When I ask why I was charged an extra $25 I was told because I had the lobster tail that come with the special!!! The place stunk, the service was horrible, and the food was the worst I’ve ever eat. Stay away!!!!

Thought the place is understaffed, the staff is always super friendly and hard working. The food Is great and while you make your own entree that's kind-of the idea. Every course tastes wonderful and is super fulfilling. The music is pretty rough but the lighting and furnishings feel nice and most of the seating makes your area feel isolated from surrounding guests making the experience feel more special. I know it's not for everyone but I love coming here :)

As much as my wife and I enjoy The Melting Pot in Columbia, SC but have also experienced Savannah, Greenville, Myrtle Beach we were very disappointed this time in Savannah the week after Christmas. We did not have a reservation but asked to sit at the bar and were turned away due to they did not have enough staff to cover. It was so disappointing when we drove up from Charleston to see a show and then come to our favorite restaurant. #disappointed

Just want to brag on our waiter Caleb. He was so positive and enthusiastic. His service was lovely and was very attentive.

We made a reservation for 7:30 PM. Was immediately seated. However, our server was very slow, it took 15 minutes for her to come to the table. Once she did come to the table, it took 36 minutes to receive our alcoholic beverages. Taking into consideration that they are shortstaffed. And both managers were serving as well. However, multiple other servers were going to their tables 3 times more than our server did. Our server came to deliver each entrée and never check back. We ran out of our dips took so long we didn’t want to sit there and wait longer as this is a 2 1/2 hour experience . Overall the food was excellent. The atmosphere was excellent. The service was poor, which ruined our anniversary night. Would not recommend if you’re trying to not have to wait forever for your service to come and refill your water or alcoholic beverages.
