Piassa's kintot special & coffee ceremony was amazing! Super flavorful and authentic. Would be 5 stars but found cockroaches on the walls and plastic in the food on previous occasions. Oddly enough, it hasn't deterred me from coming back. ??‍♀️

My husband and I just left full and happy. This place has such a cool atmosphere and vibe. Itales it a fully unique experience.I have a beef dish and husband had a goat dish. I don't remember the names but they were fantastic! We also order a side of the cabbage and red lentils, both were just as good.Service was very friendly and awesome ?Definitely a 5 star experience and will go on our favorite restaurant list.

Nice restaurant. I enjoy Ethiopian food (veggie combo), but the flavor profile of this restaurant isn’t for me.Vegetarian options: Veggie combo

Authentic doesn't get more real than this unless you get on a plane to Ethiopia! Love the traditional decor for a fully immersive experience. The chikena tibs (filet mignon with onion, garlic, and jalapeno) and shiro are my favorite things, and they have them most weekends though you might not be able to get it during the week so I recommend calling ahead to make sure that what you want is being served that day. Try the tej too, it's honey wine.

If you're looking for authentic Ethiopian food then this is the spot. It helps to go with someone that knows how to order or is possibly Ethiopian but normal everyday people can figure the menu out for sure. Also they have helpful staff. The outside of the building is a little sketchy but sometimes those are some of the best places. The inside looks like a little village and had a cool vibe. The food was served in a unique way and the seating was nice and private. We would like to explore the menu more on a return visit. I would also mention that the pricing was very good for the amount of food that you get.

The food is outstanding. Overwhelmingly delicious. This is one of my favorite places to go. It's very authentic, I think. Unfortunately, the service is as well. This feels like a genuine ethnic cuisine in a culture with a slower pace of life and without American standards of customer service.I will still come here gladly, and I highly recommend you do too. But note that things might take longer than you might expect.

I’ve lent my patronage to Piassa many times.. The food, the decor, and service are always top notch. Recently, there has been an uptick in Ethiopian political drama and Piassa has unfairly suffered because of this. The negative reviews posted on their business listings are not from actual customers. Those reviews have been left by people within the Ethiopian community who have nothing better to do but lounge around and deliberately attempt to sabotage and alienate innocent, hardworking people who don’t conform to their politically deranged views.Leave politics where they belong and leave these hardworking people alone. This establishment remains a great place to have delicious and authentic Ethiopian food with an atmosphere that takes you back to the country without leaving Atlanta. Highly recommend it!

Hey people !Please don’t ever order ጠላ ( Tella) from this restaurant ever again ! Cause they burn the barley so much when they roast it , that they make the taste of ጠላundrinkable. This has probably been my second or third time to order ጠላ from this restaurant, each time they have gotten worse and worst. The saddest part of my experience, that I had asked the waitress when I called to order whether or not the ጠላ is ኮምጣጣ ( sour ) or fresh and tasty. She lied it to me big time and I felt cheated! So, this restaurant is falling downward spiral and they should close it down from engaging in this type of business.

if i could leave no stars I would. i love Ethiopian food, however this food was disgusting. the rice was just okay, but the lamb i had was DRY almost burnt. No sauces were added for additional flavor. I don't usually leave reviews unless they are good review but I WOULD NOT recommend this place.
