Always closed now for some reason recently went in vacation to ga and wanted my husband who isn’t from there to try it and they were closed Sunday Monday and Tuesday it was a let down but I’ve seen the owner and I get why he wouldn’t care he came in one day when I was ordering and has all this jewelry on went to the back and made him a plate with no gloves on smh they do have great food but depending on what day you go you might get poor service and they also don’t allow phone use smh how can you control the public phone use … to tell someone get off your phone or you won’t get served is absolutely absurd

I'm shocked by some of the reviews. Of course I completely agree their hrs should be updated on Google as it is a total inconvenience to come to a place that says they are open only to find out they are closed. This has happened to me a few times with them however this is a family-owned business with elders who may not be that tech savvy to even update Google. Idk I guess I believe in giving grace the same way God gives us as we are not perfect by any means, not one of us.Now be advised I stick to the basics (Collard greens, mac & cheese, baked chicken or smothered porkchops) and they neverrrrr miss on their food for me. The prices are VERY reasonable especially that lunch plate and as a God fearing woman I LOVE how they always have gospel music playing to set the atmosphere. I recently stopped eating meat and even their veggie plate is a reasonable price with a handy portion of their veggies.Now every now and then I get a little jealous because when I come in with my man he be requesting stuff and the lady gives it to him but when I come in by myself and request the same thing she say she can't do it? I still love yall though?

They changed their hours without notifying anyone . Online says it closed at 6 but after driving all the way up here they are only open from 7-3 Monday - Friday and not even open on the weekend. This is extremely disappointing and frustrating because it is one of the good soul places in Atlanta.

You can post signs but not update Google? For everyone that call and don’t get an answer, here’s the new posted hrs in store but not updated on google.
