For my second side I asked for the roasted brussel sprouts and husband ordered green beans.The brisket came on top of a slice of white bread.Jessica identified the different sauces on the table and when I asked for horse radish, off she went to get me a small cup!If we weren't passing through I would surely be stopping by again.“
“We stopped for lunch just as Ms. Wanda was taking some smoked chicken off. It looked and smelled so delicious. I didn't have to look further at the menu. (We did share a piece of sausage. YUMMY)She wasn't busy at the moment and came out to spend a little time with us. She's super nice and talented with the smoker. “Nice selection of food. If you got it when it comes out, the chicken, fish, veggies, and desserts are unbeatable. Once they sit a while, not so much. Plenty of guests did take out, but we ate in. Not really a large group friendly place, but you can take over a section.“
“Before leaving Valdosta, I decided to grab a bite to eat. I saw Smok'n Pig BBQ and decided to stop to get a to go order. The parking lot was huge and full of cars for lunch. The restaurant is also large, but they seem to get the people in fairly fast. I was short on time, so I called ahead to get some of the smoked wings and a side salad. I was surprised at how good this food was, and the price was reasonable. I love that they have a salad bar which I haven't seen before in a barbecue restaurant. I made a delicious salad, but my favorite on the salad bar had to be the chicken salad. It was delicious. Next time I'm sitting and dining in when I come.“
“Best little bbq shack around! It does take little time to get your food. But we expect that and don’t mind waiting, it’s worth it. If a wait bothers you, just call ahead and by the time you get there it’ll be ready! Pulled pork+ pulled chicken sandwiches, Cajun fries, baked beans, okra + Sweet Tea are awesome. “Burgers were quite good! Got the cook out box with sauteed onion, cheddar and bacon.Fries were a little salty but the portions were generous. The corn dog was something else, super happy we listened and got it, sooo good. The milk shakes were delightful! We got chocolate and banana pudding, which even had cookie bits in it.“

“The absolutely best BBQ I have had in awhile! We were told Sam wasn’t there but the gentleman that took care of my girlfriend and I was extremely polite and took great care of us. I can tell this is a family joint because of all of the food was made with love. 11/10 recommend this place. Order everything on the menu, especially the ribs!“
