I used Pine Cone Bakery for my daughters wedding last weekend, not only was Katie very reasonably priced, she was available whenever we needed to adjust or add to our cake order. We had a 3 tier wedding cake, cup cakes, cake pops and macaroons. Everything looked amazing and tasted even better! The macaroons disappeared as soon as we put them out. I would highly recommend Pine Cone, and will definitely use Katie again.

Most gorgeous and delicious cakes!!! Katie rocks!! Found her through instagram - what a blessing. She made my baby girls cake the centerpiece of the entire party. I gave Katie a couple of ideas and our color ways and I did not expect the beautiful icing covered art work. I honestly was so sad to cut into it because it was so perfect. But once we did, the guests even asked for cake to take home. I must admit, that even though I am not a cake person (I don't like wet icing on dry spongey cake if that makes sense) but I had to try this delight. We did chocolate batter and strawberry filling which katie makes it fresh.... girrrrllll let me tell you I'm about to order another cake because my mouth is watering as I try to describe the heavenly taste and texture of her cake. My fiancee and I, who are in the throes of the wedding planning process ourselves, liked the cake so much that we asked the catering staff where the cake came from. A couple of the staff did not know, but they found out for us and told us it was Pine Cone Bakery. We've been working for over a year now with our wedding planner, have gone to cake tastings, and also discussed wedding planning with our engaged friends, and neither of us nor our planner had heard of Pine Cone (to my surprise). The serving of cake I had was strawberry buttercream. It had just the right amount of sweetness (for me, I tend to like sweeter, richer cakes), the perfect amount of icing, terrific icing consistency (soft, creamy, luscious), and the cake itself was wonderfully moist. I really enjoyed it. My fiancee got seconds. I would've gotten seconds too, but I've been on a diet. Not only did the cake taste great, but it looked beautiful too. We already signed a contract and submitted a deposit with a different vendor before discovering Pine Cone, but that's okay. We're very happy with our current vendor. Like our current vendor, Pine Cone appears to be a local, one-woman operation. Check out their website at thepineconebakery.com . Based on what I tasted, if you're looking for a wedding cake, I'd recommend them. They make donuts too.
