Excellent food, authentic people, and a real old school vibe. Everything on the menu is worth trying. Centuries old recipes come alive at this remnant of a thriving town. Its a great area to explore, and yes, I believe the sweet potato pie is one of the best anywhere. Its actually worth the visit just for that creamy, lemony, perfect goodness!!!

Stopped by for a BBQ sandwiches and order of fries with family of 4 as we traveled through Woodville. The woman behind the counter wasn't very welcoming and bearly offered a greeting when we arrived at the counter to order. The tiny interior of the restaurant was very dated and could benefit from some remodeling. BBQ sandwiches were decent sized, buns soft, amount of meat was typical, vinger based sauce was just okay...Price for 4 sandwiches , 2 orders of fries was nearly $60...a little pricey, we thought.

If you like BBQ and AWESOME food, this is the place! Super friendly staff and amazing food! The pulled pork sandwich is one of the best I had an the wife says the ribs are just as good! Highly Recommend!

If you are visiting to ride trails at DurhamTown, come eat at CJ's!BBQ Pork sandwiches are some of the best I have had. We also tried breakfast, the Bacon, Egg, and cheese biscuits will have you coming back for more.Mac and cheese, and greens were excellent, highly recommend.
