“Going to a luau at Toa is like being invited to a family event. The performances and food were great and the performers come and talk with you during the luau. It’s a really intimate experience-not like the big productions where you are herded in and out. As an added bonus, your ticket to the luau also gets you admission to the botanical gardens in Waimea Valley. It’s a beautiful walk up to the waterfall.”

“Food was amazing only reason didn’t give it 5 star was the fries were super hot but felt they weren’t cooked long enough. The burger and seasoning of everything was perfect. Best burger joint around. Will be a regular.”

“First time here for this local resident! I've driven past this intersection for decades and have no idea when this business popped up. Great location, parking, outdoor seating (kid and dog friendly), and a solid, healthy menu. I had the vegetarian burrito with tofu, and scarfed it down before remembering to take a picture. That's how good it was. A trickier proposition when it's raining, but that's also when the flies leave the area.”

“JAX is by far the best pizza on all of the islands. The handmade dough and premium toppings in a 600 degree wood fired oven . Come get some its worth the trip!!! Salads and breadsticks all soooooo good”

“Had a disappointing dinner in the area, but I won’t reveal the name . I think businesses usually deserve a second chance.
Soooo, picked up a pizza for later and super happy we did. It was delicious, even cold.
We will definitely be back.

Bacon burger with all the fixings and also with the green chili Tabasco is mayjah and it scratches the itch every time. Really good as a medium rare burger. So juicy!! One of my favs!! Kudos!!”

“Their açaí bowls and pao de queijo are really good! According to my Brazilian friend, Tropical Tribe has some of the most authentic açaí bowls on the island. Definitely worth a try if you’re in North Shore craving some açaí.”

“Everything we orderered was delicious! BLAT (Tempe Bacon, Lettuce Avo Tomatoe)on whole grain brread w garlic sauce, the Breakfast sandwhich, Maca Me Happy smoothie, and the vegan musabi was great. Vegan w alternative sauce choices, (coconut bacon, etc) Much thought went into their menu options, made to orderr!! I have et at every cafe Celestial Natural Foods has hosted. (since 1979). Thiis one is hands down the best in flavor, ingredients, creative originality, presentation w "green" packaging. A must if you desire a healthy organic takeout! ☆☆☆☆☆”

When I went, the cat was out front which was fun to see (they have stickers with the cat on it at this location so if you want one I would grab one because I thought they were at every location and they weren’t so I’m regretting it now). It’s a great place to stop by after a beach day!”

“Micah is awesome and was great to chat with! He provides great pizza for an even greater price! Only cheaper pizza you’ll find is at Costco but this pizza is 10x better! Micah doesn’t cut corners and sacrifice quality ingredients on his pizzas. Highly recommend!”

“In Oahu, Hawaii, you can find the best gelato. They also offer vegan options and have a fantastic atmosphere that makes you feel welcome at all times. The Ube Gelato is highly recommended. While the service can be inconsistent at times, the overall experience is positive.

Vegetarian options: They also offer vegan alternatives. Predominantly fruits such as lemon, lime, coconut, and others.

Parking: The parking lot is often full, making it difficult to find an available space.

“We stopped here today for lunch and we were not disappointed. We ordered the #1 Butter Garlic Combo and the #3 Lemon Pepper combo and the only regret is we didn’t order a to go order!! The food was fantastic and very flavorful!! I highly recommend this place!!”

“Stopped by real fast for an evening beverage on the way back to town, and their seasonal drink "Organic Fields"- matcha, coconut water and a hint of honey- is really quite tasty! Refreshing, not too sweet, and the matcha and coconut water pair well together :) perfect post-beach trip!”

“Garlic shrimp is another place of your choice in North shore. Less long line and it’s so good!! Variety of thai food. I love Larb, tomyum noodle, papaya salad, steak for my kids and thai tea!! Don’t miss to try this place as a food truck:)”

“Was originally introduced to Banzai bowls in So cal. Had to go try the original location. Went there 2 times on our trip. Yes, we rented a car from Waikiki to go here and a couple other restaurants on the North Shore.

Parking: Free parking behind the building. Paved and really safe.”

“Everything we tried was delicious! We went to Oahu for a week and ate here multiple times during our stay. Croissant breakfast sandwich with any kind of meat is delicious. Spam fried rice plate is great if you're looking for a big breakfast. The pastries, cinnamon rolls and pies were fantastic! The coconut cake was my favorite though! perfect, light, fluffy cake. I don't even like coconut!”

We brew our coffee with beans grown in Hawaii.
The staff had a bad attitude, but there are terrace seats, so it's nice.
If a shave ice person sits down without permission, you will be warned (there is a warning sign)”

“Flavors of the bowls and smoothies were perfectly balanced. Service was excellent and she made our bowls very quickly. I was surprised how fast she could make 4 items. The whole environment and kitchen area was a little dingy/dirty and could use a good deep cleaning...but still very tasty. We will be back.”
