Café Haleiwa is a casual spot in Haleiwa on Oahu's North Shore, known for its breakfast and brunch with local flavors. We visited for lunch after golf and it was very busy. We tried the Loco Moco, which was excellent, and their bottled fresh juice, which was good. The Lion coffee wasn't as strong as I would have liked, but it was decent. However, the porta-potty was in terrible condition—smelly and dirty, so we ended up going to Starbucks to use the restroom.

This is the cutest and quirkiest little place we could ever have found. Definite must visit. The food was great and the atmosphere is even better. Cafe

Not the gem it used to be. It’s expensive, foods not great and there’s ZERO service. We ordered at the register, filled our water and coffee cups, when the food was ready they rang a bell and shouted out our names for us to pick it up out of the window. While we were trying to enjoy our breakfast the woman at the window was shouting someone else’s name for 5min.Then you clear your own table. No service yet on the receipt it has a place for tip.

Unpretentious and delicious. Perfect for a family with pre-teens; the portions were large enough for a full midday meal. It also wasn't swarming with hordes of [other] tourists. Definitely worth your time if looking for brunch/lunch while heading up the North shore.Parking: Parking is behind the CafeKid-friendliness: Plenty of menu options for my kids. Very picky eaters might find it more challenging, but waffles, french toast, sandwiches, and burgers all feature on the permanent menu.

I visited the place early in the morning on a week day. The atmosphere in the place was so nice and inviting. It was like being on your living room while someone else took care of your breakfast and coffee. The prices are friendly and and portions are great. Definitely I will visit again and invite who ever hasn't visit yet. Wishing you guys good fortune and success.

Out of coffee, bathrooms are broken, food was edible but certainly not delicious, served on paper plates. And never even brought out my water. I wish I had better things to say but restaraunt service is exactly their strong suit. It also wasn't exactly clean

Phenomenal food! Love the Eggs Benedict, got there early enough that there was still one left! ? Chicken chili verde burrito was amazing, steak rancheros banging and pancake with bananas, blueberries and Nutella added were the perfect ending to the meal. Possibly the best breakfast on the North Shore, highly recommended! ?️?? ???

Last time we were here was right before covid. It definitely has changed, and not for the better, unfortunately. You now order at the counter and they bring out your food. Menu has changed as well, they no longer have the amazing coconut syrup. Food was still pretty decent and you can't beat the price for breakfast in Hawaii. I wouldn't drive out of the way, but if you're in North shore it's a better option than the McDonald's across the street.

White Mexican food. No seasoning. Nuff said. Cultural appropriation at its finest. And they burned the English muffins on the Benny. Avoid at all cost.
