Unpretentious and delicious. Perfect for a family with pre-teens; the portions were large enough for a full midday meal. It also wasn't swarming with hordes of [other] tourists. Café Haleiwa is a casual spot in Haleiwa on Oahu's North Shore, known for its breakfast and brunch with local flavors. We visited for lunch after golf and it was very busy. We tried the Loco Moco, which was excellent, and their bottled fresh juice, which was good. The Lion coffee wasn't as strong as I would have liked, but it was decent. However, the porta-potty was in terrible condition—smelly and dirty, so we ended up going to Starbucks to use the restroom.
