“This was our first night in Haleiwa at our first time ever staying in an AirB&B. No food yet at our new place, so needed to find somewhere to eat. We thought Thai would be a good ethnic start. We actually were looking for a different place, but found this instead. A lucky find. We both ordered drunken noodles with shrimp. As it is a food truck, we ordered at a window and sat at a picnic table under a string of lights. The food came out fairly quickly and was hot. So right off the grill/griddle. It was quite good and satisfied our craving for Thai food.“

“Really delicious! I disagree with other reviews, the portions were plenty and $16 for most. I don’t know where others are eating but that’s how much food costs these days. We have leftovers waiting for us today and I’m excited to eat the food again. I ordered online and it was waiting for me when I arrived. Would definitely visit again! Thanks!!“
“I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the satay chicken, because we ate it so fast. The peanut sauce had a strong flavor and was delicious. Of the three dishes we had, the basil chicken was the best. The basil is infused throughout the dish and had a nice selection of veggies added. The cashew chicken also had a savory sauce. The Thai beef was a bit saucy for my liking, but I think that might be a regional preference. I tend to start my food at a heat level of 2 and asked for more chile to kick it up a bit. Overall the service was great, the food came out piping hot and I would return.“
“I had a wonderful experience with Malai Thai. I had the garlic pepper shrimp. Very generous portions for the pricing. We also got an order of the basil fried rice with chicken which also was fantastic. Got multiple meals for the two of us from these two orders. Some of the best Thai food I’ve had since being in Thailand. Very fresh tasting and they cook it all fresh. They give you a little buzzer so if your group is at a different truck you can sit and wait for your food there. Definitely check them out after a long day on the beach!“
