“Ordered the Lilikoi(passion fruit) and Lychee with mochi, sweet cream, li hing mui powder. Came out to $6.50(it's pretty cheap). Service was amazing, friendly. Their card reader or something wasn't working, so they only accepted cash today but that's definitely fine. The customers before us seemed to be giving the workers a hard time(at least in my opinion) but the workers were amazing. Their shave ice was delicious! Soft ice, natural not-too sweet syrups, Delicious mochi balls, and the sweet cream is a must have. They had a quant seating area both in the front of the place and in the back. The back overlooked the river so it was a nice vibe out there. Overall will definitely come again to try out more of their flavors and toppings!“
“If you are looking for a quick bite and an authentic example of poke, this is the place to go. Here we tried not only your typical Ahi poke, but also the vegan Poke. Both were truly exceptional and I highly recommend this place to everyone.“
“We weren't particularly hungry but had been craving burgers. After reading the reviews, we stopped and fell in LOVE! We HIGHLY recommend both of the burgers we ordered. For those who enjoy guacamole in their bugers, Shem is the one with delicious crisp bacon at every bite. The Paniolo burger was a beautiful balance of the sweet and savory with two onion rings perfectly stacked on top of a pineapple slice with melted cheese. Mouth watering! We shared their Crazy fries, which reminded us of animal fries from In and Out. Grilled, caramelized onions, their house sauce (Mayo, mustered, and ketchup with a slight kick), melted cheese on top of fries.Mahalo Seven Brothers!Parking: Next to Longs Drugs“
“north shore's favorite açaí spot! locals along with tourists know that hale'iwa bowls is a must-have when going to north shore. from the fruits to purée's, everything is so refreshing and tasty. the base itself is always dense, and topped with the perfect ratio of fruits and granola. the bowls are never skimpy and in my opinion, the small is enough for even 2 people the place is pretty small, as it's a walk-up type of service so i'd say it's pretty easy to miss! but it's such a nice place to stop by for a quick refreshment. there aren't a lot of seating outside, so feel free take it to the beach or walk around! @haleiwabowls overall: 5/5 order: - two (2) small, hapa açaí bowls parking: - in back lot behind the building - street parking nearby“
“The shrimp was excellent! The rice was good. They made special accommodations for my son who cannot have any dairy products to cook his shrimp without dairy products when we talked to them about his food allergy. I love that they went above and beyond to accommodate him. The only thing I would have changed it that the shrimp came in the shell and the seasoning was on the shell. You lose the seasoning when you remove the shell to eat it.The parking is a little crazy there. It's shared with several other food trucks and you can only park there if you're eating at one of the food trucks. Also, bathrooms in the area are very limited and it's hard to find a public restroom. There is a port-o-potty in the parking lot but it was bad!!! I would put it in the second worst bathroom I've ever been in. It hadn't been serviced in forever and the waste was all the way up to the toilet seat lid. The smell was horrible and it was disgusting. I didn't let this affect my review because it is a food truck area and I don't know who is responsible for the bathroom and it didn't directly affect the food truck. Thankfully, the food truck provided hand sanitizer because that was incredibly disgusting and there was nowhere to wash my hand afterwards. It is an emergency only bathroom!!“
“For one, the burgers are delicious. I almost went back for a second one. There's plenty of seating. Go next store to the supermarket for a beer or bottle of wine, and you're all set to watch the sunset while muching on some great eats. Just lovely!“
“We drove north in a rental car and ate shave ice. It was crowded, but the rotation was good so it didn't take long. It would have been better to get the large size and add red beans, mochi, green tea, and condensed milk. That's all I failed, it was fluffy and delicious.Mr. Matsumoto was also at the store.Parking: I was able to find it right awayKid-friendliness: There were a lotWheelchair accessibility: There is a large parking lot in the back“
“Really dig this place! They have gluten free options like homemade bread for sandwiches and cookies!! Loved their monster cookie and also got a pina colada smoothie. The girl who worked there was also super sweet. Highly recommend Waialua Bakery!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!“
“First time here and will definitely be back when I come back to North Shore.Everything was fresh tasting, flavorful and delicious. Prices are great too. You get plenty of food! Would definitely recommend!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan and vegetarian options!“
“Surf N Salsa has the best tacos hands down! Located in Haleiwa.I had fresh caught Mahi taco and shrimp taco. Make sure to get a side of their guac and chips. The 8 oz is way too much for two people.I had their Cucumber Lemonade. It was great!“
“My family and I really enjoyed our experience here. I have always been one to stick to places that I really enjoyed in the past. This way, I know I will get great food and service. However, one of my daughters insisted we try Aoki's Shave Ice, so we agreed. This was the first time for most of my family, and all of us really enjoyed it. I highly recommend this spot! The shave ice and toppings are amazing, and the price is reasonable.“
“I had a wonderful experience with Malai Thai. I had the garlic pepper shrimp. Very generous portions for the pricing. We also got an order of the basil fried rice with chicken which also was fantastic. Got multiple meals for the two of us from these two orders. Some of the best Thai food I’ve had since being in Thailand. Very fresh tasting and they cook it all fresh. They give you a little buzzer so if your group is at a different truck you can sit and wait for your food there. Definitely check them out after a long day on the beach!“
“Certainly! Here's a revised version:"After extensive exploration of shrimp trucks/shacks spanning the culinary spectrum from Louisiana to Thailand, I must assert that Jenny's in Haleiwa unequivocally distinguishes itself as a super contender. Their mastery lies not only in the flawlessly executed preparation of fresh shrimp but also in their strategic curation of menu options. Jenny's strikes an admirable balance, offering a discerning selection without overwhelming the palate, thereby ensuring each choice is executed to perfection."“
“and! A great restaurant with steamed hamburgers! Needless to say, the thick patty and taste are definitely Hawaii's number one! I've tried Paradise and Teddy, but this is the best for me! ? The atmosphere of the store is also clean... I ate a lot from the shrimp truck on the way up, so I ate without even feeling hungry, so why was this? It's so unrealistically delicious! I highly recommend you visit this house!“
“Excellent food and vibes! Cute little outdoor patio under umbrellas and a big tree. Mini poke with spicy garlic tuna was hands down some of the best poke I’ve ever had! Takoyaki was delicious too ? workers were super friendly and nice. Ingredients were fresh and you could tell.Parking: There’s no parkingKid-friendliness: Environment very kid friendly :)“
“The girls at Pupukea were friendly and fast! Our meals were prepared perfectly and were actually the BEST food we ate on a week vacation with restaurants running up to $200 a meal! We’ve decided finding the right taco truck is huge in Hawaii and THIS is it.“
“This place has great food and cool atmosphere for the perfect winning combination. Stopped in with a few friends visiting Oahu for the first time and what a difference it is getting away from the hustle of Waikiki. Sat and enjoyed some music by LAVA and awesome food. U need to check this place out“
“It's super delicious and reasonably priced! The plates are large and filling, and the famous chocolate haupia pie is delicious!Even though it's cream and chocolate, why isn't it so boring? ! I ate it the next day too ^_^And we also got breakfast bread and malasadas!Everything is delicious! If I had to say, I was a little disappointed that there was no latte! That's all! !“
“It was a calm, cool Friday night. Something Mysterous was lirking in the mist. Air of antisapatioin, exitement filled Haleiwa. A Ship was docking @ Stonefish Grill. That Vessel christened " GHOSTSHIP" Dropped achor & unloaded the goods for all N. Shore to enjoy. Thank You Stonefish, staff ,security, all who made 3/15/24 the night to remember!!! “Right in the beginning of the north shore or at the very end depending on which route you take. The ladies handling out samples of nuts and coffee are nice and pleasant. The fam and I walked over and got an acai bowl and it was cool and tasty.“
“Konos Restaurant is truly amazing! From the moment you step in, the warm ambiance welcomes you. The staff's genuine friendliness adds an extra layer of charm to the dining experience. The menu boasts an array of delectable dishes that cater to diverse tastes. Each bite is a delightful journey of flavors, leaving you craving more. Konos is not just a restaurant; it's a delightful haven where excellent food and lovely staff create unforgettable memories.“
“[Ray's KIWAE BROILED Chicken] Haleiwa specialty! ? Deeply flavored and juicy furifuri chickenIf you come to Haleiwa, try Ray's Furifuri Chicken! ?It's no exaggeration to say that I went to the North Shore for this reason.I'll be there as soon as it opens, but I'll have to wait about 40 minutes for it to be baked.・Whole Chicken Chopped $16.00With a very strong flavor and smoky aroma, this is definitely drinkable. Chicken is tender and juicy. Grilled chicken is definitely different! ?After returning to the hotel, I will of course have fun with alcohol.I want to eat bueno chicken lol“
“PAPAYA SEED DRESSING. I'm just going to leave it on that........ If you are ever craving a sandwich and you're heading to the North Shore, stop by Storto's and get yourself a big filling sandwich with Papaya Seed dressing in it. NO REGRETS. They also have a shop in downtown so if you're craving and don't want to drive out that far, there's a closer one. I've been to this location before and let me tell you, I feel so content afterwards. Parking can be a little hard during peak times. They have maybe like 3 stalls in front IF people park nicely. There is a table outside where you can enjoy your sandwich. Luckily the last time I went, we had the whole table to ourselves and with a chicken as well. If you're not sure what you want, you can always ask what they recommend since they know what ups. They only take cash. If you have a big order or if you don't want to wait, you can always call in ahead of time.“
“I like to think of myself as a smoothie connoisseur and the Aloha smoothie is so GOOD plus the chocolate chip banana bread was great too. Lines get long so be patient! There is also a sitting area where you can relax before heading to the beach, read a book, or if you just finished a morning tour.P.S. bathrooms are located on the right side of the building keep walking and you will see a restroom sign!“
“What a spectacular food cart! The crepes were absolutely delicious and the gentleman working was so friendly and personable. The prices were very reasonable and the portion size was huge! He really loaded it up with fresh fruit for us! Thank you for giving us such a great start to vacation!“
“Haleiwa Seafood & Grill impressed me with their seafood platter. The coconut shrimp, fried mahi, and calamari were all incredibly fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. I definitely recommend trying this dish if you're in the area. The service was friendly and quick, which made the whole vibe even better. And I have to mention the Hawaiian Sun smoothie—it was excellent and added a refreshing touch to the meal. Overall, this food truck is a must-visit and I’ll be back!“
“I've always wanted to visit this shack. They have fast and friendly service, and their acai bowl was delicious. A size small was the perfect amount for 1 person. Parking is pretty much road parking. Many people park across the street even though it says no parking, and carefully cross the road. Would stop by again next time we're visiting the North Shore.Parking: Side of the road parking, no lotKid-friendliness: Area for games and to hang out“
“I've had great fresh fruit all over Oahu, and this is hands down the best box of fruit I've eaten. I've been back three times, and the service is always wonderful and the Hawaiian plate is always fresh, in season, and absolutely overflowing. I think this might be the best food and I'm going to be dreaming about it back on the Mainland!“
“The shrimp quality here is soo good! The shrimp here is so fresh, plump, and easy to peel. The garlic flavor is really tasty and cooked to perfection. The garlic rice is also cooked very well and was delicious.I went to multiple shrimp trucks in the area and this was my favorite! Highly recommend!“
“Best shave ice in O'ahu! Go swim North Shore and then stop for an icy treat! Service was fast and easy with lots of toppings and flavors to choose from. It does melt fast so eat it quick! No seating inside but lots of tables and benches outside in the shopping center. Cute decorations throughout!“
“Cute little food truck in an area with parking. Staff was very friendly. I had the small tropical bowl and my son had the monkey smoothie. Both very tasty and refreshing. Bought a T-shirt and sticker. I love when places have merchandise. Next time I'm on the North Shore I will stop by.“
“After visitng beaches and a long walk in the Haleiwa area we were ready for a dessert or drink to cool off. The matcha smoothie sounded really good at Island vintage so we decided to pop in. After scanning over the menu we decided on a matcha smoothie. It was so good at the moment, I'm not sure of it was just because of the heat or what but felt really enjoyable. However some time after heading out of the cafe i started getting a stomachAche. So not sure what to think of it now“
“[Banzai Bowls] Perfect for Hawaii ♡ Fruity organic acaiBanzai Bowls in Haleiwa, North Shore. First of all, let's eat acai for breakfast, right? It took me a while to decipher the menu lol・THE OG BOWL small $10.29・ExtrasMANGO $1.50BLUEBERRIES $1.50STRAWBERRIES $1.50A style of topping fruit on top of an acai mix smoothie. Are you going to ride it somehow?Enough volume for a small size share.A healthy breakfast with sticky acai, smoothie, and plenty of granola. “Aji Limo Truck is located on a large lot with about 4 (if I remember correctly) other food trucks - right across from Shark's Cove. Because it's a little tucked away (you have to walk past the food trucks at the front and get on the other side of the parking lot). The food here is amazing - specifically the poke. It's so fresh and flavorful.“
“Unpretentious and delicious. Perfect for a family with pre-teens; the portions were large enough for a full midday meal. It also wasn't swarming with hordes of [other] tourists. Definitely worth your time if looking for brunch/lunch while heading up the North shore.Parking: Parking is behind the CafeKid-friendliness: Plenty of menu options for my kids. Very picky eaters might find it more challenging, but waffles, french toast, sandwiches, and burgers all feature on the permanent menu.“
“Best Tacos I've ever had I've been eating tacos my entire life and I've never had tacos quite as good as these we came out on a busy Saturday and they still came out fast. The Music in the restaurant made for an amazing atmosphere for all ages, Our server Olivia was really nice which added to the overall atmosphere. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area“
“I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the satay chicken, because we ate it so fast. The peanut sauce had a strong flavor and was delicious. Of the three dishes we had, the basil chicken was the best. The basil is infused throughout the dish and had a nice selection of veggies added. The cashew chicken also had a savory sauce. The Thai beef was a bit saucy for my liking, but I think that might be a regional preference. I tend to start my food at a heat level of 2 and asked for more chile to kick it up a bit. Overall the service was great, the food came out piping hot and I would return.“
“Popular eatery and recommended by many. The garlic shrimp was delicious but too oily for me. Doused in delicious garlic butter soaking the rice as well. Simple shrimp rice, garlic, lemon and butter. Better options in my opinion, but worth checking out“
“A must stop if you're on the North Shore! We weren't sure what kind of shop we were looking for, so we passed it up and missed the parking across the street, but there are a few parking spots right around the corner with a path that leads to the shop. We purchased the chocolate chip and mochi loaves. They were both really delicious; the mochi was super moist. If we were to go back, I would definitely get the mochi loaf again. I may have to check out their shipping options.“
